The owner isn't very nice at all but everyone else is awesome. Thankfully I've not had the displeasure of running into the owner yet there but I know some that have. Otherwise, it's a great place to eat! Just a little old country kitchen and it's good!

Today my husband and I visited for the first time and we will be coming back! I had a cheeseburger with fries, my hubs had the chicken casserole with green beans and mashed potatoes. My fries were perfect, lightly crispy and soft n warm on the inside, the burger was delicious! My husband said the cornbread that came with his meal was the best he’s tasted. I had the strawberry cake and my husband had the chocolate pie for dessert and both were delicious! Our service was great and the waitresses were sweet and obliging.

This place has a ton of character & good food. I had the eggs over medium, bacon, and biscuits/gravy. For more flavor in the sliced potatoes i added some grilled onions.

I just love mom and pop cafés they are the best!! The food and service was great!

The ambiance was great for a country Cafe. The service was fabulous. The waitresses were nice and helpful. The dining area was one big room with license plates from far way and patrons autographs on the walls. Old folks would love this place. I can make the best chicken fried steak. You could call me a food snob. The chicken fried steak was prefab. It was a thin steak with breading that was tender and lightly crispy. The hash browns were dehydrated. The biscuits and gravy was very good, so was the coffee The dessert menu looked scrumptious! I'll go there again and just be decadant and have dessert and coffee while the guys have a full breakfast. I ate half of what I ordered and gave the rest to my brother.

Friendly staff & great grub. Like all good Mom & Pop dinners, there is the "liars table" made up of old timers telling stories & solving all the world's issues. Gotta love it.

Food was tasteless and super rough and greasy. Dramatic atmosphere. Drama type of ladies

Great breakfast. Over medium eggs cooked properly with no loose white. Bacon also cooked perfectly. We will return for the great service.

Hard to know what to say about this place. We went in on a Saturday morning, waited for 10 minutes for a table before being told it's first come first served, but when a table opened up and we made our way toward it, someone from another table moved over and claimed it. The staff have no system for taking names and assigning guests to a server or a section. Just sort of chaotic. So we left and went to Cracker Barrel. I guess the food must be good or they wouldn't have been so busy. Too bad we didn't get to experience it because of the lack of a good seating system.

I made a to go order, they were super busy and I was passing through and needed breakfast on the way. They got my order done quickly, and despite the chaos they were attentive to my needs too. I almost left without my bacon!! They made it right though, without any fuss.

Fast, friendly service. Food is delicious. Pancakes melt in your mouth ? Delicious biscuits and bacon. Husband also had the yummy country ham. Oh and the potatoes too. We will definitely be back next time we are in town. Very reasonable priced!! Our waitress was the best and my coffee ☕️ was always full!! ?

I was traveling near Whitehouse TN today, and my wife and I enjoy local "meat and 3" diners, and this one sounded like it was worth a try. First thing we were told, because of some construction or something, they didn't have any daily meat and three specials that day. So we ordered off menu. I had a cheeseburger and Fries. They only have crinkle cut fries or homefries. I'm not a fan of crinkle cut fries, but I ordered them anyway. The cheeseburger is handmade from fresh beef. It was very good. No complaints on the cheeseburger, but the fries spoiled the meal. I should have ordered the onion rings, they appearantly are handmade. There are storage racks, ice machine, coolers, and such in the dining area which takes away from the ambiance. All in all it may have just been a bad day to visit.

I love this place!!! Small town vibe where the “regulars” go. This is my kind of place, great atmosphere with great people. Food is great, service is awesome and the price isn’t bad either. I just wish it was closer so I could go more often.

Terrific little country diner that was well worth the 20 mile trip. We went for breakfast, our favorite meal of the day. We ordered the country fried steak breakfast, home fries, and biscuit and gravy, eggs over easy and a BLT with grits. The BLT was excellent. The toast and bacon were nice crisp. Just enough lettuce to add the taste and a slice of tomato that had a good flavor. Grits were cooked with the right combination of salt and pepper to give them a good taste. The country fried steak was a generous portion covered with country gravy. The biscuit with covered with the same gravy. The gravy had a good pepper flavor. The eggs were cooked as ordered.

I have been in this area for over 10 years and passed by countless times. Today I finally stopped by and had a burger. I could smack myself for missing out on this hidden gem for so many years. I hope to go back for breakfast soon. Apparently the menu is new. Very friendly owner and staff. Definitely smalltown home feeling.

We happened across this place because it was very near our eclipse observation point on Bowling Branch Road. In 2 days, we visited THREE times. 1st - We had desserts as we had only just eaten an hour or so earlier. We wanted to try the carrot cake, but they were sold out by 10:00 am!! But they promised to get more for us by the next day. This was actually fortuitous, because we got to try both the Banana Pudding and Coconut Cream Pie. Y'all... That was THE best banana pudding I've had since my Mamaw moved to Heaven 25+ years ago!!! Almost unfair to the pie which was ALSO THE best coconut cream pie I've had in decades. Both clearly scratch made. 2nd - Breakfast on Eclipse Day. In spite of the unusual number of guests due to the "Crossroads" being nearly ON the eclipse centerline, the kitchen staff managed to deliver us absolutely wonderful food. Eggs were cooked as close to perfect as you can on a grill. Sausage was cooked "just right" and the precisely correct amount of sage for breakfast sausage. And the hash browns could not have been prepatef better had I done them myself!! 3rd - Stopped back in to sit with family while they ate brunch just prior to "1st Contact". We had observed the arrival of multiple covered containers and suspected the carrot cake was in the house... and as promised, it was. We BOTH thoroughly enjoyed the cake. Unusually light for carrot cake while preserving ALL the flavor. The frosting was absolutely spot on. All in all, a thoroughly wonderful experience. If you are looking for pretentious, fancy, or upscale.... this ain't your spot. If you want good food, country store/cafe atmosphere, genuinely friendly staff, and hard to believe low pricing.... then it's worth the drive into this beautiful country to visit this little gem. Tell Mr. Rick and all that we said "God Bless and see y'all on our next trip to Tennessee!"
