We needed a rental car on short notice for an out of town trip. Someone recommended Mi-South to us. I called and got the rates and then made comparisons with other rental companies, but there was really no comparison. Trece did a great job answering all my questions and communicated with me throughout the process. Will definitely use them again.
I got turned down for a service by 3 different places in Lebanon whenever I thought I may have a blown head gasket. They wouldn't even inspect it, but wanted to quote me a used engine. I called Mid-South and they had no problem taking it in and repaired it. Turns out it wasn't even a blown head gasket. I've used these guys 2 other times with high satisfaction. This is the only place I will take my vehicles now!
Brought my jeep from Nashville to Mid-South. Top notch service from mike and Nick. Jeep had deathwobble which they diagnosed quickly and fixed the problem for a very reasonable price.
My car suddenly started overheating. Luckily I was close to donoho's. It was after 5:00 too and the gentleman opened the door for me anyway (I'm sure I'll look panicked! Lol) and put coolant in my car. Completely free of charge. Like who does that these days...? Donoho's does I guess. ?? Really good, honest local people here. Highly recommend!
Delivered a car here today and the people at the front counter were nice and respectful. As I was dropping the car around back, one of their techs spoke to me and he was also nice and respectful.

The crew and Nick (the owner) were very transparent about our car issues. He got us in same day and it was fix the next day. The car was having issue in drive and Nick's team identified the issue and got me out with less then a $300 bill. So thankful that Carthage has a local auto shot that does not take advantage of you.
If you are looking to get your car fix in the Smith County area well..... there's no debating where you need to go!

The 1st and 2nd time I went here they were very nice and did a decent job, but this last time the man was very very rude! They didn't do a full diagnostic which I paid for!! They said it was because my car wouldn't start for them to get it in the shop! Isn't this a freaking mechanic shop!! So I basically paid these people over a hundred dollars for them to tell me what I told them was wrong with it when I dropped it off not to mention I could've went and got a free diagnostic at O Riley's! I do not recommend this place to nobody. I pay a brand new starter on it and it still wouldn't start because there was a wire loose!! I was told by a worker I could replace the starter there so I could get it home then my head got bit off for doing it by another worker there! So no like I said I don't recommend this place they are VERY VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, AND LIKE TO RIP PEOPLE OFF!!

Had some problems with my truck I was needing it to get fixed. They not only fixed my truck up better than before, but they also told me what to look for in the future coming up possibly. Service is friendly, fast, and fairly priced compared to all other competition. Will definitely be doing business here from now on for sure and I suggest you do the same ?!

So today when I walked out to my ride after work I noticed I had a flat. I couldn't get one lugnut off . So this is at 4:30 pm , thirty mins before they close. I call them up and see if they can wait around for me. They said yeah come on. I gotta give so much praise to those guys. Much love and appreciation. Took my my car in and left it for them to check alignment while I was at work. At first said nothing was wrong but then called back and said they needed to replace a rod for $300. Upon dropping off my car they told me I needed new rear brake PADS only with an estimate of $383. They subsequently turned on my brake indicators and left me with a squealing car. Interestingly I had my brakes replaced one month prior in Murfreesboro where I took my car back for inspection and my brakes were absolutely fine and all my indicators were indeed turned. Nice scam! BEWARE.
Sean,Zach and Mack were so amazing they really are a great group of men up there who really care about their job. They really showed integrity and that is rare these days.
I took my car in for an alignment and tire change. I got there as soon as it went on the alignment and they told me the lower ball joint was bad. They were going to still to do it even though it would not hold or help. They told me it was bad so I had them pull it off. If they done it I would of been charged and then when I had it replaced they would charge me for another alignment. Never put an alignment on a car with bad anything. They basically wanted to double charge me.
I walked in without calling ahead or an appointment and the gentleman at the counter was super helpful and not condescending. I was stranded 30 minutes away from home with a car that wouldn't start with groceries in the back seat and they rush/prioritized my car and got me on my way in about an hour. I will be back to this establishment with future car maintenance.
We rented the moving shoulders moving truck to move into our brand new house we took a load that same day. The truck set over night while we was getting stuff ready for the next day. When I opened the door the next morning there was 100s of roaches in it we tried to contact Mr Shoulders over the weekend and couldn't get ahold of him. So we sprayed and set off 2 boxes of bombs in the truck and let it set for a day. That was a wasted day. We finished moving and returned the truck and told him what happened he was not interested in making anything right with us he said he would give us our $60 deposite back which he was supposed to anyway. We had an inspection on the house we sold and there was no pest or insect problem or roaches ever detected and we've never had a roach problem. Now we are having to have our house treated by orkin and hes not returned any emails on doing anything about it. So we lost a day of moving and had to pay for poison spray and 2 boxes of bombs to treat his truck. So I would recommend not doing any business with shoulder motor so far we are out about 500.00 not including the upcoming treatments we had to sign up for with Orkin and the peace of mind as we should not be having to deal with a pest problem in our brand new home.. we should be enjoying this experience but its turned out to be a scary and stressful time for us.. We've had absolutely no response from Shoulders.

The work on my car is always finished on time, as promised. They never let cars get backed up with infinite completion times. They communicate with me well while they have my car. Very friendly guys. I would recommend them highly.
You guys are the best! You didn’t just fix my car but made sure it was just the battery. It was a blessing to have the car picked up and returned. You’ll be seeing us more often now that my dealer warranty is about to expire.
They are very helpful, My car broke down at work, my husband had borrowed a friend's flat bed to get my car to the mechanic, how ever we could not get ahold of the mechanic that we normally use , so I called a Donohos. They said sure bring it on in and they would look at it, Well after arriving at Donohos my power steering went out and me and my husband could not get it off the flat bed trailer, I went and asked if someone could help cause the car was almost hanging off one end , two mechanics helped us get it off the trailer with out any problems, other tha me having a crying episode in the parking lot , they said that they would take a look at it the next day, I got a call and they told me the problems it had , they gave me an option to see if my husband could fix it or if they needed to fix it, well after the trouble we had and price comparison with others we decided to let them fix it and we are very happy with their services, we wl definitely have them on speed dial, very pleased with the patience they had with me calling back 15 times over a 2 day period, they also closed at 5 and said if they need to they would stay after , They did not push or shove us to fix it and the guy at the fri t desk was very easy to deal.with
I came in today for an oil change. I've been to 3 other oil change shops in the area and none of them could figure out why after a couple weeks my car was completely drained of oil. Well they did! Dakota was super helpful and polite and genuinely just nice to talk to! I will definitely be back!!
I virtually never leave ratings and/or comments, but these guys deserve it! As my daughter and I watched our tire (well, entire front wheel assembly) bounce along side us while we skidded about 100 or so yards, then stopped in the dirt dirt on the side of I-40; had no idea what we were going to do. Through an awesome guy who brought us something to drink while we were standed (thanks Richard), we got in touch with Jerome, the owner of Donohos. He got us in, gave us a ride to our hotel. Picked us up from our hotel the next day. Went to 2 separate places for parts and got us on the road the next day. His guys that work for him are as polite and hard working as he is! It was a long day and a half, but I thank God we broke down where we did, and got our truck repaired where we did as well. I live 4 hrs away, but if I end up needing major work again on
one of my vehicles, and it can drive there.... Road trip!!
I trust Donoho's with my auto maintenance and repairs. They can catch things that are going bad before you end up stranded on the side of the road or worse. They are up front and straight forward, and give you the choice of a temporary fix or a long term solution. They will even tell you if your car is no longer safe to drive! If they give you bad news, they won't judge you if you break down crying. Jerome works hard as a mechanic, employs great mechanics, and will pray for you and your family. Labor cost may seem high, but it's the going rate, and is backed often by guarantees. They even offer to take you home to wait for repairs if you live close, and pick you up when your car, truck, or RV is ready.
The towing service is fast and friendly. Love the fact that they have u- hauls and rental car services at reasonable prices when in you need one in a quick. I have never bought a car from here but have friends who have and they were very satisfied.
