I slid off road into ditch 2 days ago. Called this company on a recommendation and they said 2 days ago they would get it out the next day and have it towed to my house, and told me to leave the key at the car. They are now saying they cannot do this and are hemming and hawing so I cancelled. Cannot be relied on in an emergency.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. Especially if you aren't local. Cost me a lot of money and a lot of time. They use junk yard parts that apparently aren't tested. I got two bad rear differentials. The first one was cracked and leaking on install and the second was shipped to my mechanic in Ohio and it was also bad. They dont return calls and just dodge you, hoping that you will go away. I still had to pay for the same job and part twice to have it done right by someone else. Documentation and statements from a reputable mechanic will be provided to the Better Business Bureau and the State Attorney's office. It was a MISERABLE and very COSTLY experience.

Called the business to let them know my truck was not starting and needed to be jumped. Minutes later Sean arrived and helped us. Gave us great advice since we are not from the area. Definitely recommend and everyone was very nice.

Highly recommend. We broke down and they towed our car to their shop late in the day. They had our car ready to go the next day. Very nice people and reasonable prices.

Carr’s Auto Services was very kind when our car broke down on vacation. They made the necessary repairs so that we could return home on time and they even went above and beyond to provide us a ride back to our hotel. Thank you so much!

I appreciated the timely repair, but it wasn't without issue. When I returned home, I had my local shop check things out. The trans cooler lines had been replaced as quoted, but they failed to put the retainers back on the quick connect fitting or make any mention of them. Also, I was quoted the repair costs before the work was done which is correct, however I was not quoted the $165.00 charge on the bill for "Accessories". No break down of that charge just the $165.00 charge written over a lesser amount that had been previously written on the ticket. Vague handwritten carbon tickets in 2025 is a big red flag.

Called Carr's to get a tow to the Jeep dealership, and they were at my cabin within 30 minutes. Tow driver was very friendly and even offered to see if their garage could fix my Jeep. I already had appointment at Jeep dealership and bought the Mopar part there or I would have had them to fix it. Very good service and needed in a crunch when needing to get back to NC. Thank you!

I was in Tennessee for the weekend had some car problems I googled them. They had really good ratings and everything was legit about them. if you’re ever there, I need some service, most definitely contact them

Guys DONT take your vehicle any where else but HERE!!!! I will never use another shop here! We were on vacation in the area (we visit 4+ times a year) when we found ourselves with a check engine light on a cylinder misfire. We looked online for closest auto mechanic and found Carr’s. We called early Friday morning on Jeep Invasion weekend, about the issue they told us we could come over to take a look at it same day, they immediately worked us in, gave us a rental and had it fixed before closing! To find honest and trust worthy shops that’s not trying to up charge cause of a tourist community! Upmost respect for all these guys here!

Still, the next morning—Saturday, August 2nd, 2025—I went to air up my driver's side rear tire on my Jeep Wrangler and spotted a wet wheel well. My heart sank; I knew immediately it was likely a blown axle seal or something worse. With our trip on the line, I called the local Jeep dealership, only to hear they'd need at least a week just for an appointment. Talk about a buzzkill! Desperate but hopeful, I dialed up Carr's Automotive Repair. From the first ring, these folks were incredible—they told me to swing by immediately and squeezed me in without hesitation. Right off the bat, Brandon at the counter greeted me with the warmest smile and made me feel like a priority, not just another customer. He's an exceptional employee and one of the friendliest people I've ever met—his positive vibe alone turned my stressful morning around! Their team dove right in and diagnosed the issue spot-on: not just the axle seal but also the bearing and axle, which had been wiped out. I inspected it myself, and they were 100% correct—no upselling, just honest expertise. By the very next day—today, August 3rd—my Jeep was back in my hands, fully repaired with a new seal, bearing, and axle. They turned what could have been a vacation-ruining disaster into a minor pit stop! What sets Carr's apart? Drove in from Ohio for only 24hrs. On the way down my windshield wiper motor stopped working. We called on the way to see if they had the part. He did not but said he would order it and get us in the next morning as we had to leave the next afternoon. We dropped the car off and it was fixed and ready to go in the time they stated! No shops in my town can get you in and out in less than 24hrs so we were EXTREMELY grateful! If you need a shop that gets it done this one is it!

In town from Chicago for the week. Way too many bad lights showed up on our dash and computer screen. Needed emergency service to replace the alternator and Carr's was fantastic. Took the car with 2 hours left in their day, and they told us they'd have it ready in the morning. I had to run there to get something out of the car right when they opened, and sure enough the car was already done. Outstanding service, very reasonably priced and just super nice people. They even gave us a ride back to our cabin when we dropped off the car. Thank you so much, would highly recommend!

i would like to thank all of the staff of carrs auto for taking such good care of me during my vacation here in tenn. they were very fast and professional after my car broke down and had to be fixed at a last min. they went out of there way to get the parts for me and went out of there way to make sure that i got to enjoy the last day of my vacation and made sure that i was able to get home to maryland with no problems. as i travel alone it was a weight off of my mind. thank you so much for all of your hard work.

Drove up from Florida and my battery died. My particular vehicle requires a service center and Carr’s was recommended. They were quick and reasonable. My brother also had a car concern, so I referred him as well. They are professionals. 2 happy customers. Thank you!

Friendly, helpful, and fair. Transmission issues on vacation, took it in for diagnostic. I knew the transmission had and issue and they could have sold me a new one a fixed mine, but they told me that all we needed was a $450 part to fix it. They could have ripped me off but they didn't. Also had a rental vehicle for me and charged only for the full days I had it. Not the dropoff or pickup day. The place is dirty and being stuck on vacation, you expect to get soaked or ripped off, but we didn't and I very much appreciate the work and how it was done. More than once I overheard them talking about "make sure the AC is on" so it's cool when they pick up the rental. This was not a rental for me but someone else that was coming in. It became clear that they cared about the customers. Thanks.

Down in PF on vacation. Car trouble? No problem. Called Carr's, they towed my vehicle to their shop at 5 pm and had my car back on the road by 9 am the next morning. Who does that!? They do. Easy 5 stars.

We were down on vacation in the area when we found ourselves with and oil leak. We looked online for closest auto mechanic with little hope since it was a Sunday. But we found Carr’s and another place and I decided to go with this place since had most years in service with a lot of good reviews and I can absolutely see why. We called mid afternoon about the issue they told us we could come over to take a look at 1 pm on a Sunday, they immediately worked us in and gave us a trusted car rental company that would drop off and pick up from their location, they worked with the auto shop close to our home since we just had our car fixed prior to coming on vacation, and they were the nicest people. They made what I thought was going to be a tough time, go really smooth! Can’t thank them enough for their help. We were able to drive back hike 400+ miles the next day with 0 issue.

On a recent trip to Pigeon Forge ( from Ohio) I noticed I was getting some brake judder coming into Tennessee thru the mountains. As soon as we got there I checked to see if there was a local repair shop that could get me in the following morning since it was 5pm. After reading reviews on a few I thought CARRS Auto Service reviews were very good, and they were RIGHT. Called Carrs and they said they could get me in the next morning. I took my truck there at 8 am and the parts person gave me a ride back to the motel. They ordered and replaced my brake pads on the front and called me at 1200 noon. The parts person even picked me up and took me back to their shop to get my vehicle. They were super customer friendly...and the price for the repair was VERY good. I would definitely recommend them if you have any car problems. You cant go wrong!

This shop was incredibly helpful! I was on vacation with my family and our car needed work. Carr’s was able to get us in and out in one morning. Everybody was very kind and willing to talk through options and be transparent. They even drove me somewhere to meet my family while I waited for the work to be done and they came and picked me up as well. Very hospitable local shop.

We were not sure about this place once we arrived in the tow truck. But they definitely went above and beyond. We were on vacation and our truck broke down. The truck required a specific part. We asked if we can find the part could they use that, they said yes. However, it was Easter and a Sunday when we were trying to find the part and no one had the part. So my fiancé called the Monday after Easter to see if they found the part. They found a new one but was really expensive and asked if we would be okay with a used part. At that point we just wanted to be able to make it home (7 hours away). They found one and got it put on within a few hours. They only charged one hour labor and the part which was very reasonable. We appreciate all the work they put in to help us get back on the road and how quickly they got it done. The staff was very nice to us.

They were very helpful and friendly. Our brake line went out and they were able to get us in that day and he our suburban looked at and keep me informed on what was going on. And when he said he had to keep it over night they had a van I could rent so me and my family wasn't stuck. Will recommend to everyone. Great service and great people.

I can’t thank them enough for what they did. My family and I were 7 days into our 8 day vacation. Our car’s alternator went out at 3pm on Friday and we went into immediate panic mode. We were told by a local worker at Advance Auto Parts and they immediately recommended us to Carr’s. That worker saved us so much time and headache by having us go there. We dropped the car off at 3:30pm and they had it done Saturday morning at 10am, just in time for us to head home from vacation. Shawn with Carr’s and everyone else we talked with were extremely friendly, patient, and helpful. So thankful to have found them. God bless them and my family and I HIGHLY suggest you trust them with your vehicles. I would give them more than 5 stars if possible.

Seriously love these guys! Our water pump started going just as we were headed out of Pigeon Forge. We immediately turned around and went to Advance Auto Parts who recommended Carrs Auto Service. They were super friendly and even had a rental available for us so we could still make our plans for the day. I don't know how they did it but they had it fixed the same day and got us back on the road. I am so insanely grateful. Seriously a great group of people. If you need Auto repair or towing around Pigeon Forge I highly recommend them.

My family and I were visiting the area for vacation when out car started having trouble. I was thinking it was my transmission and Googled some places and came across Carr’s Auto Service and gave them a call. Found out that they were open 7 days a week which was great as I needed to find somewhere that would be able to fix my vehicle quickly and before I had to head north back home. They were able to look at my car the day I dropped it off and diagnose it quickly. They were able to give me a couple options on repairs and get me back on the road the same day. The cost was very reasonable and everyone was very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Carr’s to anyone and would 100% take my car to Carr’s if I was every back in the Pigeon Forge area.

Our car broke down just as we were heading home to Texas. This company has great customer service. The tow driver was quick to respond and very accommodating to give us a ride. The service department quickly diagnosed, located the part, and repaired quickly. The pricing was fair and reasonable. They thanked us for trusting them to get us back on the road. As tourists from out of state, we are very thankful to have stumbled across an honest group of people and their company. We highly recommend them!

While vacationing in Wears valley Tennessee I pulled in to the wrong place at the cabin. The next morning while trying to get turned around on the steep drive I slipped off the drive into a hole. The van had no traction to go either direction . The drive in front of me was at the edge which dropped off. I called Carr’s and twenty minutes later Shaun showed up . After looking he decided to pull the van backward back onto the drive. He claimed a hill and put a strap and pulley around a large tree . He attached his cable to the rear of the van and through the pulley . He started his wench as I steered the van backward . Moments later all was good. Shaun was very skillful and represented his company well. Thank you Carr’s.

This past weekend was rod run weekend in Pigeon Forge. Every April n Sept we go to this event. It's a VERY busy time with all motels booked out, no where to park, setting in traffic FOR HOURS just to get down 1 side of the parkway. The motel we were staying in had told me at check in that we could park in parking deck or beside the motel in parking lot. I don't know if I misunderstood or he told me wrong... Either way, there was a restaurant next door to motel. Good thing we were headed out to get into the swimming pool caz I seen the snatch tow truck backed up to my vehicle fixing to tow it Saturday afternoon. I went straight to the parking lot n asked what was wrong n he said the restaurant called wanting the truck towed off it's property! I said, oh no! Please don't tow me. I thought I could park there ... Long story short, the wrecker guy was super friendly and very understanding n he let me move it. He didn't charge me anything either. Some people may say, well he didn't tow ur truck so why would he charge u? It's simple, they have to make money for their time and service call out there. He didn't! I was very appreciative! Super nice and friendly! Thank u much! I have a pic of him backed up to the truck but don't know how to post it under reviews. I would have been devastated had it gotten towed.
