My car broke down on the way to Thanksgiving, and while Wheel’s Towing was too swamped with holiday accidents to tow me, Mr. Budd immediately connected me with another towing company that could help. Thank you for putting people over profits and helping me out!! Would recommend.
We got our 16 foot truck stuck at a clients job and we’re already behind schedule. We called and they had someone out in 15 minutes (I fully expected to wait hours for a response from anyone). The pricing was very fair and the service was great! Wayne came in, assessed the situation and had us out in less than 10 minutes. 100% would spend the money with them again if I ever got stuck again!
We called on a Sunday when one of our work trucks got stuck in a customers yard. They came out right away and got us back to work. They were very reasonable in price and we will use them if we ever need any of their services in the future. They were also the only company that answered the phone.
I am an out of town wrecker driver, I got stuck in wheels area got a bunch of scary quotes from their competitors but they showed up quickly in the right truck and charged me a fair price. Not to mention being extremely friendly and an awesome dude
We landed in Tennessee from the flatland of Texas, and 2 hrs later we find ourselves stuck on an icy hill/driveway in Harriman. It felt like we were going into a "ditch", and panic started to set in. We called for a tow truck, and they arrived in an instant.
They were professional and incredibly lighthearted, turning what could have been a "terrifying" situation into one we could laugh about. They knew what they were doing...he mentioned 'He's been saving women for 40 yrs'. He certainly lived up to that reputation, skillfully getting us safely down the slippery driveway and back on the road.
We couldn't be more grateful for their quick response, expertise, and great sense o humor. If you ever need a tow in the area, these are the guys to call. They deserve the highest rating!
Great experience overall. I called them around 11am and asked if they could tow from Rockwood. They were more than happy to come out and help me out and were there in less than a hour. Since I don't live far into Rockwood they quoted me $85. I thought this was more than fair since they were coming from Harriman to Rockwood. We ran into a small issue with the car being on gravel and not being able to turn on. They quickly overcame the issue and had my car ready to go. Quick and kind service!! Definitely recommend!!
The guys that came out to help us were extremely professional, and went out of their way to help us, and were really awesome. They had a good attitude in a crappy situation. Would highly recommend them to anyone!

This is a horrible towing company. You left my husband, myself, and five kids stranded. Your manager cancelled our service call and never told us. We waited for over an hour and no one showed up!! Thanks for your horrible management! You didn't ask whether your decision endangered children or left them sleep out over night!! I have placed a corporate complaint. Do yourself a favor, don't trust your safety with someone who treats you with zero consideration before cancelling a call and never bothering to tell the customer.
Cannot recommend this company enough the guys who helped me Bud and i didn’t catch the other fellas name were two of the best guys i’ve ever had to deal with got me out quickly and even the second time 2 minutes later after i wrecked again. if you need a tow call them they’re the best
My vehicle was running in limp mode with several codes listed. He spent hours diagnosing the codes to determine we had a bad computer. It was, unfortunately, something he couldn't repair. He replaced the spark plugs and charged me only 1 hour of labor plus parts. He was very fair, honest, and compassionate, and I would highly recommend him to repair your vehicle.
They are amazing they have towed my wife’s car so many times and we are waiting for a tow now. They didn’t have a truck for tonight cause of the parade but they are so awesome we are going to just wait on them and not calling anyone else
Outstanding service. I live in Harriman and broke down in Knoxville 40 mins away from the dealership I needed my car towed too. Bud was there right away. Extremely affordable and excellent customer service. Safe and reliable.
He picked me up at 6:30 in the morning on the side of the road when no one else would. Bud couldn’t have been any funnier or honest or nicer. Wouldn’t 5 have had anyone else get me then him.
Wheels towing is the best. Great service, reliable and respectful. In the past few months I have had to call on them twice. The first time I was on the way home from Alabama. Bud drove three hours, on Sunday evening, to help us. Not only did he drive that far to pick up our suburban but he brought my Tahoe to Alabama so we would have a way to get home. AND just last week I was driving my niece's car when I was T-boned at the entrance to river front park. He was there to pick up the jeep before the police were finished gathering information. They are the only towing company I will call!! Thanks guys for rescuing me twice in the past two months!!
I broke down 3 hours from my home. Bud came and got me and was extremely kind and reassuring during the ride to the dealership. He went out of his way to help me when he had reason to. I usually don’t post reviews but this has to be the best towing service I’ve ever had! Driving cross country, I needed some serious help in what felt like the middle of nowhere. Not only did he get me there fast, I had to call back the next morning to move it again. BEST PRICE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE BY FAR!!!!! He even gave me a ride back to where I was so I wouldn’t wait at an auto shop until the end of dawn. The superstar of Roane County!! Thank you again!
Excellent experience despite the stressful situation I was in having broken down and in need of a 60 mile tow to knoxville. This is the towing company you should use if you are in need and in the area. They service 24/7, and the owner towed me himself on a Saturday evening. He showed up with a smile and was very friendly despite the time and inconvenience. The price was also very reasonable for the distance towed, and I'm pretty certain it was cheaper than i couldve gotten elsewhere.Thanks to Wheels Towing for the help and good conversation!
Highly recommend their service, I called at 4 AM and he showed up to tow my truck with a smile! He was super friendly and very professional, and to be honest, the price was not bad at all! I would give them a 10 out of 10. He also gave me a recommendation for a mechanic at his shop to fix my truck. If I ever need a tow again, they will get my service.
We broke down on I-40 coming home from vacation…tried to find a rental but no avail then someone but us in contact with Wheels Towing. The owner came loaded our truck and we were on the road to Alabama within 30 mins. Highly recommend!! Fast & friendly service!!!

Got ran off the road and was lucky enough to have Bud Smith owner of Wheels Towing to pull my vehicle back off the bank and to the road with no damage to it. I doubt another business could have done this with such ease. He was timely professional and great to work with!
