3.6 Roentgen, Not great... Not terrible.

My dad worked at TVA's Watts Bar for 3 years during the mid-70s. The area is absolutely breathtaking, and the people are so VERY friendly... I do believe, some of the nicest on Earth! Our time spent at Watts Bar and Ten Mile TN hold many fond memories and are precious to my heart! ❤️ I hope things haven't changed much.

The water tasted funny, but over all an enjoyable experience. Would go again.

If your a trucker stay away from delivering here. Not quick so don’t expect to make it to your pickup in time. Here at 7:30am and still waiting for trailer at 1:30pm. They said it was empty at 11:30am but everyone went to lunch and will not bring it back to me

It’s clean power that doesn’t pollute the beautiful skies of Tennessee. Besides, it’s one of the safest nuclear power plants in the country, and will likely never have an accident that comes close to the likes of Three Mile Island (which was very minor in terms of nuclear power plant accidents).

It is a beautiful and me and my husband and my three kids love going there and seeing n u c l e a r plant everyday

Meltdown? Imposible they say. Everything is safe safe until its not. 1979 3 mile island. 1988 chernobyl. 2011 Fukushima.

I am glad I live less than an hour from this magnificent plant and Sequoya. I have seen on the news how California and Texas are facing an energy crisis due to their over reliance on less reliable methods of energy production like solar, wind, gas, and coal. I have never been told I have to turn my thermostat up or been told I can't charge an electric car. I would like to thank this place and Sequoya for making this happen.

My relatives here never lost power during the winter storms! Nuclear is beautiful! Kudos to the TVA.

I was disappointed that the plant did not have an actual bar. Hopefully this will be remedied in the future. Rated 4 stars for bigness.

Way more radiation is released into the environment from fossil fuels. Building solar panels uses polluting and rare elements that give the workers cancer. Well managed nuclear energy is the safest kind of energy and best for the environment.

Im a trucker and I have a delivery to this plant, when I got there people were nice and waiting for me, the unloaded me quit, great job guys

I’ve never actually been there, but it’s a great plant and I’ve seen plenty of documentaries on it. They prioritize on safety, safety, and safety. I’m only 12 but I’m Pro Nuclear.

When I was there it was after a trip to and from Nashville for a VA appt. and it was quiet and peaceful.

People were great to work with.Fun times and great memories.Very clean plant.

Fast unloading,clean place,amable people

Saying they make nuclear materials for nuclear weapons is totally false : materials producted in civil reactors are completly unusable for military uses and they have much more efficient methods to make it (which are the only ones used worldwide)! On the other side, this kind of power plants are THE ONLY WAY to cleanly and positivly recycle nuclear weapons components. You should know that.

I live nearby and they keep it completely as clean as possible and protect all wildlife around the area.
