Elizabeth provided friendly and welcoming service. The grilled shrimp and grits tasted amazing. My husband love his catfish dinner. We will return soon.
We have stayed there 4 times and they are always Very Nice and accommodating! We haven’t gotten a chance to eat at the restaurant but have heard great things about it. the grounds and all are kept nice and clean. The pool area is very nice and kept clean.
This is a family ran business and all the people are great and try their best to accommodate!
This was quite frankly the worst customer service I have ever received from a restaurant. The owner has no business being in customer services. I had pulled up to the dock to enjoy dinner with my family. After being all tied up and ready to enjoy a meal we were greeted by the owners son who told us the spot was reserved and we needed to move. Although there was no signs or any person there to tell us that, we took an extra 15min to move and tie back up and headed inside. After being seated for less than 5min the owner walked up to us and asked why we cussed his son out. First off, we didn’t (he just wasn’t doing his job) and second, when we tried to explain what happened the owner said “I really don’t care”. That statement right there speaks volumes to what kind of person this man is. I will never come back here, and recommend everyone go to Euchee Marina instead. Far better service than this place will ever be.
Super nice place & great people, couldn't ask for a better stay! Rooms are super clean & very nice & the customer service is outstanding. Planning another vacation with Terace View again soon! Five stars across the board. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My husband and I are traveling by boat on the TN river. Several boaters we met recommended this marina. It’s awesome. Family owned and the nicest people you will ever meet. A covered slip was available, 50 amp power as well as other amenities. The restaurant is Devine. All the food is made fresh. It may take a little longer but it will not disappoint. We met Mark & Heather and their family. Very kind. We needed oil for our engines and he went and got it for us. Thank you for a great visit. We will be back.
Arrived just prior to 5:00. We were the first table seated. After watching several tables get their food I asked the waitress where our food was. She was rude and condescending. Finally the owner came over at 6:05 and said they lost our ticket. He offered us free desert. After another 20 minutes 3 out of four of our meals showed up. 10 minutes later the fourth meal showed up. The food was delicious. The waitress came by and told us we were offered free desert. After inquiring with our waitress (rude again) and waiting another 30 minutes she showed up with 3 deserts, one which was not what we ordered after having her repeat our order. This was the absolute worse service I have ever experienced. Very unfortunate. We will go back again at some point but I just wanted to alert everyone to be prepared for this type of service.
Had dinner with a friend at this little gem! Hidden off the beaten path a bit, we had live music, great food, and a super waitress!
We were seated immediately. Caroline was patient with us as it took us some time to figure out what we wanted. There were so many good things on the menu! They have fish, shrimp, salads, burgers, pizza, sandwiches, wings, and homemade deserts!
We finally settled on fried pickles for an appetizer. They arrived in abundance! It was certainly enough for 3 or 4 easily. They were seasoned well and fried perfectly. Up next, my friend chose the HCT BLT and fries. I ordered the catfish and shrimp dinner (I forget the name -- maybe captains plate?). It was pipping hot and really good. Not over seasoned or overbreaded. The slaw was good. I missed out on the grits (they ran out; it was that busy!), but they brought me a side salad in its place. Everything was really good. There was plenty to bring home.
We both snagged desserts, too. Banana pudding and keylime pie and both were great.
The amazing view, clean and friendly atmosphere, reaonable pricing, and with so many things to try try we will certainly be back!
p.s. to the extremely rude, large table beside us who insisted on bring their own bottles (then complaining when they had to follow some simple guidelines--e.g. corking fee), you did not ruin our meal by being difficult or making rude and loud comments to the staff, sending your food back to be remade, or making sure everyone knew how important you all were. What you did was make yourselves look bad. Nobody needs to be anything but kind and considerate. Showing yourselves did not make you look important. Promise. I've been around important people (Governors, Senators, millionaires, actors, and important CEOs) and they do not act like you did in any way. Maybe it was the drink, or maybe it was your way, but I like to think it was the first. Either way, I hope you all made it home safely.
Recently rented a pontoon boat for full a day. It ran fine for most of the day. The gear shift cable broke coming into the dock - only reverse was useable - lucky for us no damage was done, lucky for the marina they didn’t have to tow us several miles. The gas gauge and tachometer were also non-functioning. Bottom line - lack of proper maintenance of the boat. The marina did not give us any credit for failure of their boat. Boat renters beware!!!!
I’ve been fortunate enough to spend a lot of time traveling by boat. For the last 8 years we’ve made at least one stop a year at Terrace View. Absolutely as good as it gets. A great restaurant, great marina, but the absolute best part is Mark and his family, and the rest of the staff they hire. It’s so refreshing to still see a family run business that does things the right way. For as long as they’re all here, we’ll be back as often as possible.
Went here for a Bachelorette trip… we checked in and waited an hr to be seated which we were totally okay with because we were a big party and we were allowed to get drinks from the bar and wait outside. Our party was split into 2 tables. Appetizers were pretty quick and decent however management was awful. The other table got their food and were finished an hour before our table even got their food. We asked multiple times where our food was and we eventually told them to just put them in to go boxes because we had been there for 3 hours total. One of our girls asked to speak to the manager and requested a discount. He did not apologize or give a discount, but instead acted as if we should’ve expected to wait because they had a 20 person party outside. After we finally received our food, we had to request our checks. Half of them were wrong. We told her and she took them back to fix… they were brought back. We all paid and we’re standing outside when a waitress approached us angrily and asked us if we had a problem with the manager. We said yes because we waited 2 hours for our food and he was not apologetic at all. She was very rude. We left. Our group was then called after we got back to the lake house (they had our number from the waitlist) and was told that we did not pay for a chicken wrap and appetizer and that if we did not come back to pay the manager would take it out of the waitresses’ check. One of our nice girls went back to pay and she was yelled at by the manager/owner’s daughter saying that she needed new friends.
Do not recommend if you’re a party over 4.
We have been to quite a few marinas on the tennessee River. Going on our third season at this marina and it is by far the best for us and checks all our boxes. Location and all amenities including the friendliest service add to our overall experience. If your looking for a laid back experience with beautiful scenery and the kindest, friendliest staff imaginable, you found it at Terrace View marina.
Took some friends in town visiting there for lunch. We know it can take a while to get food out, but after two hours I thought it was an abnormally long wait and we had two younger kids getting impatient. I went in to inquire and learned our food ticket had not printed for the kitchen. At this point we only asked that kids at least got something and us adults could go without. Management and staff were very apologetic and responsive, said they would make our food immediately and could get the kids food out within 7 minutes. We expected only food for the kids, but all our food starting coming out. It was delicious as always and we greatly appreciated the action of the management and staff, we know stuff happens, it was the response to it that made all the difference. Awesome place!
Currently still sitting at the table after getting here at 5:00 (it’s almost 7). We will never be back. After having to ask multiple times where our food was and watching people after us get their food, they said they didn’t know why ours was coming out. A man came and said sorry and took off the kids meal, but that if you eat/drink you pay. We will never be back. It’s ok food, but not worth the 2 hour wait.
We rented a boat over the weekend and spent right at $1000 at the marina. Before leaving my husband and I sat down on the deck to have dinner since we had our puppy with us. We were then approached by a waitress and asked to move because a larger party inside wanted our table and told we could eat on the couch (the only other available outside seating since all tables were full). Eat dinner on the couch??? I went inside and explained everything to the manager at the bar and she informed me we could eat in the pool area if we wanted!! Not even part of the restaurant seating area. I told her that was beyond rude and we wouldn't be back. She gave a very snarky response of "all that because of one person?" Yes, because both of y'all were rude. I have never been asked to move like that in my life. That was pure discrimination and I don't recommend giving this business any of your money!
Just stayed here with two other couples. We came by boat and it was mid week so the restaurant wasn’t open! We loved our time here, beautiful views and yes the rooms are rustic with few amenities but very clean and fresh and that’s what you expect when you stay in a marina setting, nothing fancy just great service with clean rooms! A very nice family owns and runs the motel and restaurant and they couldn’t be more helpful! We will be back, and we are making reservations earlier so we can get the weekend!
It took almost an hour to get appetizers ( fries and wings). My wife and 2 children got up and left. I drank 2 beers waiting, my wife drank 2 waters waiting. The owner told me to go to a fast food joint if I wanted fast food...we ordered french fries and wings. How does it take an hour? The owner was not friendly and seemed as if he was not from around here because of his unsouthern hospitality. I'm a local also and recommend elsewhere on the lake.
I recently went to Terrace View for a long weekend girls trip. The family that owns the marina is fabulous and all of their children were as well. The restaurant food was amazing but their pizza wasn’t like any I’ve ever had….it was THE BEST!!!
I highly recommend this place and look forward to visiting again!
Wife and I had a tasty pizza here last night. Our first visit and won't be our last. They had a limited menu but enough choices for everyone, salads,burgers,catfish,beer and more. Staff was pleasant. Good time.

I’ve stayed here in their guesthouse several times, eaten breakfast, shared spirits, and was recently here for a Low Country Boil for the Allison Craft Rally. Always great food, great atmosphere and great people on the most Beautiful lake around. Watts Bar Baby!
We rented a boat for 5 days from the Marina and had a great experience. This family-owned business is friendly and welcoming. Each of the people who assisted us were happy to do so.
On our last night we returned the boat and picked up some delicious fresh food from the restaurant. The fried catfish was great, but the chicken fingers were really special. It was delicious.
This marina is a gem within a gem. Watts Bar is a beautiful lake and we enjoyed our three night stay in a VRBO house right on the lake. We rented a pontoon boat here and I was so impressed with my initial communication with this family owned business. The pick up was smooth and I was Wowed with what I got for the money. During the two day rental was impressed with the support I received with any questions I had.
We absolutely love this place! Super friendly. Family owned and operated. Great beer selection, awesome pizza, great burgers. You cannot go wrong here! It couldn't be more great! We will be back more and more! Thank you!
Absolutely LOVE this place! Great food, great service and fantastic friendly family to greet you. The best place on the lake to eat, have a drink or hang out. Because it is the best place on the lake, you might have to wait so be patient and be kind to this hard working family.
