I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while because we’re just so happy with C&S Auto Repair. We’ve been bringing our cars here since about 2018, and every visit has been a great experience. Doyle, Earl, Rory, and the whole team are wonderful. They are friendly, honest, knowledgeable, and always willing to explain what’s going on with your vehicle. In my experience, they know their customers by name and truly treat you like family, which is rare and so appreciated.
Thanks to their care, our 2017 Subaru Outback is at about 175,000 miles and still runs like new. It’s such a relief knowing we have a shop we can trust completely. If you’re looking for dependable, straightforward, and genuinely caring auto service, C&S is the place to go. Highly recommend!
After visiting two other locations, I was given a recommendation to visit C&S. They were able to get me in same day, diagnosed the problem and fixed it same day. They were great to work with and I didn't feel taken advantage. I will go back again if I need help.

My headlights on my Camero were out. I took it to C&S in Clarksville and they were amazing. Had parts shipped from Nashville same day and I was back on the road within hours. The service displayed integrity and know how. They gave me a decent price. Much lower than the dealer, Firestone and Goodyear who each wanted up to $2k. $400 out the door. My lights run $150 each. The people were great. My new repair shop .
I’ve lived in Clarksville for over 5 years now and have had a truly terrible time trying to find a friendly and dependable mechanic. I tried C&S due to the incredible feedback and after having my engine inspected and repaired by them today I can confidently say the positive feedback is well warranted. I had to wait a few days before it could be looked at due to how busy they are however it was well worth the wait. My Camaro was inspected and serviced same day. Earl called to give me the good news and explained in detail all the work that was completed. The price was much lower than what another competing shop would have charged for similar service (believe me I asked around). There are a few other minor concerns with my vehicle and I am finally confident that I have found a shop in town to have them completed for a fair cost. Thank you Earl and C&S!

The brake pads needed to get replaced on my husband's truck. The staff at C&S Auto was very accommodating on getting the car in for an inspection. The car was done within a few hours. - This is not our first visit and it won't be the last. - Overall friendly staff and great service!
I was thoroughly impressed with my experience at this auto repair shop. Its convenient location, nestled perfectly between my home and workplace, significantly simplified my routine. I brought my car in to have a tire pressure monitor replaced and an air conditioning blower motor repaired, and I was pleased to see that the work was completed in a timely manner — much quicker than I had anticipated.
Throughout the entire repair process, the staff maintained excellent communication. We called and had our Mercedes GL450 scheduled for A/C service July 22, 2025. They called by 11am that morning, explained the issue in detail, ordered the part, and sent me payment by that afternoon. Once it was fixed I asked if I could schedule our other GL450 and he did so immediately. The next day the same process occurred as with the previous vehicle and we got our car back that same day. I would like to note that each and every time I called in, I spoke with a person. I never had to leave a voicemail.

While driving our Armada lost power. I took it to C&S on a recommendation and I couldn't be happier. Earl and his team got us in quickly, Diagnosed the issue and found ways to save us a couple hundred off the final bill.
The ultimate repair took two separate visits because the part needed to be ordered, and it was at a point in the month when we couldn't handle it all at once. Earl worked with us, never pressured and got our SUV running great in just over a week from start to finish.
We will be taking our vehicles to C&S from here on out.
I was recommended this place by several co workers! After having a disappointing brake service done on my car’s front brakes by another mechanic in town, I started to hear grinding noises when I would brake. I brought my Toyota RAV4 into this place, and I immediately felt that I was going to be taken care and have the issue identified at C&S. C&S promptly diagnosed the problem, I was charged for a full front brake replacement by the first mechanic come to find out that C&S found they only changed the pads and not rotors. C&S gave me an honest update on what I needed done, and I did not feel like they were trying to push me into anything and gave thorough options through the whole experience. I felt a lot of trust here and I really appreciate it. I will definitely bring my car here from now on and recommend them to anyone for honest and trustworthy work. They did a phenomenal job on my brakes and they were very quick too!

Fast and easy booking online. Upon arrival was greeted with friendly service. They called me to inform me of cost to repair and was able to fix it same day. I took my car to a different mechanic in town and they quoted me over $4000 to fix it. I decided to take my car to C&S for a second opinion. From the start they were so incredibly nice! I was going to walk home after dropping my car off and the owner/shop worker would not allow me to as I would have to cross Wilma traffic so they kindly drove me the few blocks home. They were able to find a hole in my intercooler system that was causing the issue (which the other mechanic did not mention) and they fixed my car the same day! The mechanic that worked on my car called and gave me a very detailed description of everything he did during the diagnostic. It’s running perfectly now and I won’t trust anyone but C&S to touch my car now! From the start I felt very comfortable with them as a woman who knows nothing of cars and they never made me feel like they were trying to take advantage of that. I would recommend them 100 times over to anyone looking for a reliable mechanic.

WOW WOW WOW!!! I was referred to C&S Auto by a colleague and boy was he spot on!!! I have a 2021 Range Rover that I drove to Nashville for service and warranty work. Not only was the Customer Service horrible but the wait time unacceptable! I scheduled an appt for a 42,000 mile service with Doyle and actually spoke to him for like 20 minutes and he explained the entire process and what to expect. I took my vehicle in at 7:30am and it was finished before 12pm! WOW! NEVER have I been in and out like that at a dealer or service center for that matter! I felt valued as a customer! The entire team was courteous and friendly and the professionalism was over the top! C&S Auto repair is my new repair shop FOR LIFE! Bye Bye Nashville, sorry not sorry!
