My family has been going to C&S for years because they're honest. They won't try to do repairs that don't need done. Beware of the Wyatt Johnson Kia in Clarksville because they tried to say our entire engine needed replaced and it was a minimum of $7k for that plus some other repairs that were unnecessary. They didn't even fully check the issue we asked them to and were ready to charge a diagnostic fee for things that weren't checked. So we wanted a second opinion and had it towed to CNS and it turns out it's a much simpler issue and is going to cost less than 10% of Kia's estimate. Should have just gone to C&S in the first place and avoided the hassle.
I have been taking my cars to C&S for over twenty years and the service has been consistently friendly and professional. The most important thing is that I know that I can trust them- that is priceless to me! Well done!!

The staff and crew at C&S Auto always go above and beyond to keep my vehicles running like new. They are always friendly, courteous, and true professionals. They give honest feedback and advice on how to keep your vehicle running at a reasonable price. Once they know your decision, they diligently work to get repairs done in a reasonable time. The only problem is I wish I had known about them sooner when I had moved back to Clarksville. Highly recommend you give them a call if your vehicle needs some work.
Everything sounded good based off the reviews but I called to wonder where I can get some maintenance done....instantly with no hesitation got turned away abruptly because I drive a classic early 2000s AMG, I was told this place works on classic cars but they do not apparently, I just felt angered because they did not even get the chance to see it or listen to me. Not even any recommendations from them to refer me elsewhere. I guess I just had high hopes .That is all I have to say.
I took my car and thinking it was really something major wrong. As it turned out it was just a loose sensor. They tightened it up and I was on my way. I really appreciate their honesty. I give them five stars.

This company always calls me before they complete any work to tell me in detail what needs to be done, and how much it will be.
They go above and beyond. Even warming up my car for me before I pick it up in the winter. They helped me purchase a car by telling me all the questions that I need to ask to make sure it’s a good quality purchase. Every time I’ve had any work done the car has run fantastically.
I genuinely appreciate this company so much. They’ve gone above and beyond to help a young woman and have never pushed anything to me that I don’t need.
I will not take my cars anywhere else. No hidden feel or charges, reasonable rates, quality repairs, and truly excellent communication. They will do everything they can to make sure you know what they are doing and why it's important all while not breaking the bank. Very honest communication to the point they will tell you when the work is not worth doing and trying to save you money. Between my myself, my wife, and my kids, they maintain 5 of our cars.

Since moving to Clarksville, I've struggled finding a repair shop with knowledgeable mechanics and staff. I've left other places believing/knowing I've over paid, and not feeling comfortable with the work. Over a year ago, the owner, Mr. Doyle Rust, and I connected via his giving to an organization I was involved in. His comments and our interaction left me knowing he is an honest, people and community minded individual. I knew the next time I needed an auto repair shop, it would be him and his crew. As fate would have it, a friend and I were talking and i mentioned where I was going to take the car. My friend had nothing but praise, so it confirmed what I felt and where I was going. The work was done and I could not be happier with how everything was handled, and priced. For my first time since moving here, I was completely comfortable when picking up our car. I will only deal with them moving forward.
Was willing to pay any quoted cost to replace belts , hoses, and oil seals under the hood of Lexus SUV but I am in Europe. This company would NOT get me pricing without "seeing" vehicle first, even though I said to replace regardless of immediate need. CRAZY and inconvenience. Obviously they do not care about the customer who is willing to get work quoted and done if not on their schedule and "per policy"..

My headlights on my Camero were out. I took it to C&S in Clarksville and they were amazing. Had parts shipped from Nashville same day and I was back on the road within hours. The service displayed integrity and know how. They gave me a decent price. Much lower than the dealer, Firestone and Goodyear who each wanted up to $2k. $400 out the door. My lights run $150 each. The people were great. My new repair shop .
I’ve lived in Clarksville for over 5 years now and have had a truly terrible time trying to find a friendly and dependable mechanic. I tried C&S due to the incredible feedback and after having my engine inspected and repaired by them today I can confidently say the positive feedback is well warranted. I had to wait a few days before it could be looked at due to how busy they are however it was well worth the wait. My Camaro was inspected and serviced same day. Earl called to give me the good news and explained in detail all the work that was completed. The price was much lower than what another competing shop would have charged for similar service (believe me I asked around). There are a few other minor concerns with my vehicle and I am finally confident that I have found a shop in town to have them completed for a fair cost. Thank you Earl and C&S!

I was thoroughly impressed with my experience at this auto repair shop. Its convenient location, nestled perfectly between my home and workplace, significantly simplified my routine. I brought my car in to have a tire pressure monitor replaced and an air conditioning blower motor repaired, and I was pleased to see that the work was completed in a timely manner — much quicker than I had anticipated.

While driving our Armada lost power. I took it to C&S on a recommendation and I couldn't be happier. Earl and his team got us in quickly, Diagnosed the issue and found ways to save us a couple hundred off the final bill.
The ultimate repair took two separate visits because the part needed to be ordered, and it was at a point in the month when we couldn't handle it all at once. Earl worked with us, never pressured and got our SUV running great in just over a week from start to finish.

I was recommended this place by several co workers! After having a disappointing brake service done on my car’s front brakes by another mechanic in town, I started to hear grinding noises when I would brake. I brought my Toyota RAV4 into this place, and I immediately felt that I was going to be taken care and have the issue identified at C&S. C&S promptly diagnosed the problem, I was charged for a full front brake replacement by the first mechanic come to find out that C&S found they only changed the pads and not rotors. C&S gave me an honest update on what I needed done, and I did not feel like they were trying to push me into anything and gave thorough options through the whole experience. I felt a lot of trust here and I really appreciate it. I will definitely bring my car here from now on and recommend them to anyone for honest and trustworthy work. They did a phenomenal job on my brakes and they were very quick too!
