Price price for labour was $160 to change a mudflap, or about 15 minutes. Lady said, they ussually do 2 hour minimum, but they did us a favour. Must be out of their minds.
Scammers! did a poor job on the trailer bracket, was not conected all the way, charged 526$, when asked to do it proper way had to wait a day in line to make it happened. Asked for extra 2 hours of labor to redo the garbage they did. Lady at the desk very rude, super greedy shop! Stay away!
Be very careful with this shop, they are truly abusive. They charged $202.35 just to replace a fuel hose under 1 foot long and two clamps. The whole job didn’t even take 25 minutes.
Someone texted cussing me out because their payment was stopped since I had no idea who the business was as my car was towed and the business name only said Tri State Environmental. Had I gotten the invoice/receipt I asked for it never would have happened. Won’t use again. Drivers apparently don’t have the ability to give you anything and consumers have a right to get something for the transaction. Would rate 0 stars if I could.
I had a water pump installed in my truck by the shop for $800, but it failed just three months later. I brought the pump back for warranty work, dropped off the part in January, and filled out the warranty papers for reimbursement. By April, I hadn't received any response, and I learned that the person I spoke to, Candy, had quit.
In April, I resubmitted everything with Marissa, but again, there were no updates. In June, I reached out about the warranty claim and was told by Rodney, the owner, that it was now too late for reimbursement. I was shocked to hear this, as I had submitted everything in a timely manner.
The delay was due to the shop's lack of action on the information I provided. There were no updates, no communication, and staff changes without any follow-up. This is incredibly disappointing, especially since I've used this shop multiple times in the past. They really dropped the ball on this simple request for a refund on a failed part.
Was stranded on I24 with a flat on our van. (No factory spare) They towed us to Hampton Inn on a Sunday night and dropped the van at the tire shop for Monday morning. Price was fair considering it was after hours. Thanks for getting my family off the interstate. Was honest and communicated several times about a slight delay.
Transmission went out climbing the hill. Spoke to shop and decided to swap from a 10 to a 13. Asked how long it would take and they said a week. I drove home to Florida and spoke to them later the following week and they said the truck would be ready by the time I got there. When I got they half of my truck was still on the ground. No driveshaft no exhaust etc. the guy that was working on my truck disappeared and they had some other guy start working on it. By this time it’s 10pm I got there at 8am. The guy working on the truck tells me that he’s not a mechanic but he’s learning lol. I help him put my truck back together and leave. I stopped to get fuel an hour south in Georgia and realized that the coolant an trans fluid was leaking out of the trans all down the side and bottom of the truck. I called them and they sent a wrecker out to get me the next morning. I sat in a hotel all weekend and got the truck back Monday afternoon.2 days later I went to start the truck and it caught fire because they crossed up some wiring on the starter. I had to buy a new starter and 4 new batteries. 4 weeks after that I realized a vibration and took it to my mechanic. My mechanic told me that out of the 10 bolts that hold the transmission to the engine there was only 3 bolts left and all the others had broken off in the bell housing. They Didn’t tighten or torque them down. I had to then pay $2,600 to have the trans taken out and the holes drilled and tapped and new bolts put in. A few weeks later I went for a pm service and they told me that there is no bushings on the clutch for Sharon the transmission and that’s how they installed it. I don’t like to throw shade or make anyone look bad but this whole ordeal almost cost me my company because including their shop fee plus fixing their mess I’m about $30,000 in the hole. I tried to speak to the owner Rodney Kilgore but he declined and ran from the issue like a child. Please don’t ever let anyone from here touch your truck. They lie just to get the job and once they have it they bend you over the barrel.

I had the radiator replaced on my 2021 Freightliner on February 7th, and they charged me $3,640. A couple of days later, I noticed a coolant leak under my truck. I went to another shop to have it checked, and it turned out that the previous shop had installed the transmission cooler incorrectly, which damaged both my new radiator and the transmission cooler.
When I called them to request a refund or a proper repair, they kept giving me excuses, claiming they were working on it. After four days, they finally said they couldn’t do anything about it. As a result, I had to pay another $2,839 at a different shop to fix their incompetence.

These people are scammers. My truck radiator leaked on the hill and i brought my truck to this shop for repair. They were trying to charge me $2000 for the radiator which costs only $1450 at the dealership. They were asking $3500 for the whole job so i found someone else who did the whole thing in just $2600. Lady at the front desk is very rude and don’t know how to talk to customers.
They lie about prices, they almost doubled the price for no reason. As well as held our truck in one spot for 2 days when there are no trucks other than ours. Normal dealers that change starters change for 3 hours max for labor, but they charged us for 4 hours and 30 minutes when there are no trucks around. Starters cost for dealers $500 with no discount. They upcharged to $680 for a single starter
Great people. Hard working and honest. Best of all, they back up their work. If you have a problem they will fix it. The prices are fair and really not enough. They give you options on new and used parts.

Got stuck on the mountain when ABS valve went out & although the part was hard to find these guys did everything they could to get my truck fixed and cleared for the road again. It was a 3day ordeal but they definitely took care of me while there.
I called them about fixing my father's motorhome tire. My dad pulled in there at 16:10 and 2 guys jumped right on it. The took the duals off, checked the tire, filled it, remounted the tires, and only charged my dad for a tire mount. I was very impressed, the guys were nice and quick.
It was before 4th of july when the truck broke down with transmission failure, they said will fix it in 2/3 days, took it longer, but after removing the transmission-Eaton 10speed, they said it's a bad fork also, so it was Fri afternoon when they said truck is ready, so they found a used fork in the shop in a good shape and put it on saying will last 4ever...Ok, it last less than 5kmiles, and we stuck again, to drop the transmission because the bad fork...When I claimed this to them, they said is not possible the fork to make those problems(truck wouldn't take the gear 1 or reverse without grinding), I brought the part back to them, manager said it will let the owner know and will call me...it's been 4 months, and still no call, last time when I called they said it's not possible the fork fail so shortly-still denying they are responsible for anything! If I have to choose again the shop I wouldn't use them...
Absolutely great people! Stopped in here because I picked up a trailer that had apparently had the side skirt on it replaced and they didn't cut out the hole to access the fuel tank for the reefer. They put me in immediately and cut it out and didn't charge anything. These are the kind of people my company will give their business to if in the area and need a repair. Hardworking Mechanics! They stayed late to make sure the job was done so I could be ready to load in the morning. You don’t find honest people very often anymore. They took the time to actually help me out rather then put me on the back burner for tomorrow. I cannot express how greatful I am for them.
Went in for an air leak thought it was a air bag but in fact it was my air dump hose.
Not only did these gentlemen diagnose the real issue but they still serviced me after their closing time.
Honesty and integrity is lost now a days but definitely not here.

They had me tow my truck to there shop and told me they will get me in, that wasn’t the case when I arrived they said they would look at it first thing in the morning and that wasn’t the case again he told me he wasn’t going to get to it today also so now I’m getting my truck towed to another shop. I Hate when shops lie to truck drivers especially when we are loaded smh. I don’t write reviews but this time I felt It was only right to worn the fellow O/O and truck drivers. Don’t use these guys unless you want to wait a couple of Days for something that takes a couple of hours. Oh and also they have there own towing company that’s how they lure you in. My dad was driving from Florida to Indiana. The transmission went out in his car. This place was able to fix the problem and get him back on the road quickly. He said his car drove great the rest of the way home. He was really happy with their quality of work
on way to Florida from Indiana. After mountains my muffler snapped in half. They told me what was wrong, how could fix and suggested places near to stay if needed. Very kind and super awesome. They got us back on the road in no time. Also checked air in tires, oil etc. Cost was very good and they were amazing.
30 minutes into our 10 hour drive hauling a loaded boat trailer, a wheel popped off on I24 and wrecked the axle. The quote was prompt, the price was fair, and the customer service was absolutely 100% class act. If you're ever in need, this is the place.
I limped in to Monteagle after blowing up my transmission. They got my truck in their shop right away and are putting in a rebuilt transmission. I will keep you posted as soon as the job is finished. Update!!! Rebuilt transmission is installed and working great. The best part is they honored their estimate and even did a few extras for free. Jack, the shop manager was good to his word and I highly recommend you take his advice. Great job guys!
Do not use this truck repair, first the tow driver gave me a price before he picked me up, later added, 200, they added 250 to my bill with out telling me for putting sand on the fule leak cause the wrecker did not have any also charged me 30 for the sand. the would not allow me to go get my part and charged me 200 so they can go get it, and ended getting the wrong part, had to wait till the next day, in which they got a part used and still charged me the price of the new one. These charges the people who supposedly wrote the ticket would not answer the phone. Nore would did they want to rewrite the ticket indicating what they was charging me for! These people are no good! Go some where else! You been warned!
I did not have the experience of others. My truck broke down on the off ramp 1\2 mile from the shop. They towed me in, and unfortunately I was faced with a problem they couldn't fix. Still, EVERY person in the shop was conscientious, concerned and worked tirelessly to help me while they put out “fires” presented by other customers. The ladies at the front desk were extremely nice and guided me to a nice place to stay for the evening.
They saved my butt and days of time.
Broke down with a coolant leak in a Penske truck. They got me right in and despite not having the perfect part, modified a locally available one to work.
Front desk woman was great and the mechanic worked through his lunch to get me back on the road.
Even though having a captive customer base they went above and beyond. Gonna stop next time through to say thanks
Excellent service!! What my company mechanics said could take a couple days they completed in under 9 hours, including welding a new axle hub on the trailer. Jason, Zack and everyone else whose names I just can't remember were very personable and friendly. Their fast and efficient work saved the load and probably my ass. Thanks again guys!!
