My family and I were stranded on the interstate near this place. I called my insurance roadside assistance first and after two hours still did not have a tow. Then I called James towing and they had a tow truck to me in less than 10 minutes. The truck left the garage almost immediately after I called. Justin was very professional and helpful. I highly recommend this place!
I highly would recommend these guys for a big truck lockout. After calling several (at least 7) different locksmith services, in the Louden TN area, all were busy, or.didnt do lockouts. These guys were recommended by a competitor and were there at my location within 10 min. I had a dog stuck in my vehicle on an 85 degree day, so time was of the essences.

Jeremy didn’t just fix the problem — he showed genuine care and made sure the problem was taken care of. Absolutely Ridiculous Rip-Off – $3000 for 40 Minutes!
If I could give zero stars, I would. These people are outright scammers. They charged $3000 just to pull our truck out from a non-truck route in Tennessee — a job that took barely 40 minutes to complete. That’s $750 an hour, which is absolutely outrageous.
To make matters worse, the cops on the scene seemed more interested in backing up the wrecker company than helping resolve the situation fairly. We tried to negotiate, even offered credit card payment, but they refused and threatened to tow the truck and trailer into their yard by morning if we didn’t pay on the spot.
This felt more like extortion than a service. Avoid this place at all costs unless you enjoy being taken advantage of in desperate situations. Disgraceful.

Had my 69 Camaro picked up and towed to Oak Ridge, not bragging but the car has been restored and is my baby. Chelsey made the appointment for me (on time - no issues). John picked up my car and he could not have been more professional. Not going to lie, I was nervous - but he put me at ease and treated my car like it was his own. I'm very pleased with the experience and highly recommend this outfit for any towing needs. Also, I'm not one to post things but again, I couldn't be happier with the service provided.
I just got a new car and it had a bad tank of gas in it and wouldn’t start so i called a few tow trucks and this was the cheapest one i could find, they got to me in ten minutes and got me straight back home. my tow truck driver was john and he was extremely helpful with diagnosing the issue and giving tips to fix it
John was very efficient and did a great job changing my bad tire (in 95 degree temperature). He was professional and pleasant and I am sure to use this service again if needed (although I hope I never get stuck again!)
I’m J. Batsford earlier today I needed a Tow. I called these guys and Jeremy showed up. Before he towed it he tried to get it running. Now that is service. I’ve lived all over the world and the only place you find ppl like Jeremy is right here in our little East Tennessee Town of Loudon. He was quick too.

We blew a belt and tensioner on I75 North near Lenoir City Tennessee. I called a couple of towing companies and everyone was short drivers, and couldn't make it out to us within a reasonable time (less than 5 hrs) so we called James Towing. Shawn answered the phone 2nd ring and was out to us within 45 minutes. Of course, it was raining but he was in great spirits with a huge smile on his face. He loaded our truck onto his flatbed, taking extra care by pulling our hitch so it didn't rub on the concrete, then hooked our travel trailer up. He was beyond helpful, and friendly and turned what is a nerve-wracking experience into a comfortable and pleasant experience.

If I could Give Shawn a 10 I would!! Our family of 6 was on our way driving straight thru from Michigan to Florida for vacation when our tire blew on the highway at 430 in the morning on Friday :( We called James Towing and Shawn came within 25 minutes to assess the situation as we had no spare and he didn't have room for all 6 of us. He called his cop buddy who was on duty and he came and 3 of us took a ride with the deputy and the other 3 rode in the tow truck back to the shop. Well Shawn found us a tire from his father in law and let my hubby drive his personal truck while following him in the tow truck to get us to his father in laws shop and Shawn, his father in law, along with my husband changed out both back tires, balanced them and made sure the pressure was good and got us back on the road by 6 am!! I can't thank Shawn enough for being our guardian angel that night and doing all he did for my family, he didn't have to do all that but for him we are forever grateful as we made it to Florida for our first family vacation 💙 ❤️ ♥️
I’ve had some really good experiences with James Towing. I find that they are responsive and easy to work with. My calls have been answered promptly and they have provided professional and courteous service. During the recent severe weather it was still not hard to get what I needed in a time frame that worked for me. As busy as they’ve been over the last few days, when they arrived they got the work I needed done and even took time to answer some questions about one of my other vehicles. It’s never cheap to get this type of work done but I believe that they were fair about the cost and they surely earned the money with quality service. I have them in my contacts so I can easily reach them if needed. Thanks guys!
My name is Juanita Gresham my car was stuck at the nursing home because I dropped the keys in the trunk. I called at the locksmiths in this area and they all gave me different quotes but I wasn't gonna pay the price they was giving. Let's just say 125 and up. I called the wrecker service and didn't have to wait long no hour to three hours wait James Towing came within 10 mins and had my car open in less then 3 min. James Towing is THE BEST. SO DANG IMPRESSED. They will go ABOVE and BEYOND to make everything 100% - Owen event sent a clean up crew to clean an accidental spill on our driveway due to a hydrolic leak from a busted line- He did this without even being asked and the company he sent (K-Tech) is also a 5 star recommendation!) NOW THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE! Keith, our driver arrived earlier than expected and did an excellent job taking care of my truck and towing it without issue. Such good folks! Very quick and helpful. The tow driver even took a look at the car to see if he could see why it had stalled out and leaked oil for me and he was the one who noticed the oil cap hadn’t been tightened after the oil change. Saved me thousands in repairs bc the shop we got it changed at was responsible. We will use James towing every time we need a tow from now on. Great guys there.
I live about 4 hours away from loudon. My vehicle broke down on I 75 in September. Another towing company towed my vehicle to a motel in loudon. I just happened to bump into one of the drivers at a gas station near where I was staying. He gave me some info and came to where I was staying and looked at my vehicle for me. He recommended loudon auto repair as the go to place locally to have my car repaired. He was super nice and very helpful. I appreciate everything they have done for me.
Called for an emergency gas drop. We had been stranded on the side of the freeway for almost 3 hours with my wife and our 1 month old ON HOLD with our roadside assistance trying to find a wrecker... with no luck. Made the call to James and told them I only had $15 on me. Was told they normally charge $40, but due to the circumstances and us having an infant in the back, to just give him what we had. Truck arrived within 15min and filled our tank. When I tried to pay him, he declined payment and told us to drive safe. God Praise this man and company
Very helpful and friendly. When a deer run in out front my car I hit it. I took my car to James Body Shop and they set up everything with insurance company to get me a rental car and had it delivered to me so i would have something to drive. Unfortunately the Insurance company totaled my car so i am unable to give them a review on there repair work. But i would recommend them to anyone that needs there service. Hydroplaned of the Philadelphia exit and called for a tow truck at about 10:15pm. I needed someone to help me get the rest of the way back on the roadway (my front end). I was driving alone and it was obviously late at night in an area I was unfamiliar with. I was not injured or under the influence nor was anyone else even around. My vehicle emergency lights about overheating and low oil had come on so I immediately shut my vehicle off. I called 2 other tow companies prior to reaching the people here. When I spoke to the lady on the phone, it was obvious that I was shaken since I was crying. When asked why I was crying, I explained to her that it was because I did not know the area and a little scared, it was pitch black dark, late at night, and I just wanted to get home since I had to work in the morning. She assured me they had a driver available and they would send them right out to me. A little over 2 hours later, I was awoken with a bright flashlight being pointed into my eyes and more police around my vehicle than I've seen at one time in a movie. Barely giving me a chance to get my driver's license out, I was asked how much I'd had to drink (anyone who knows me knows that I may drink the equivalent of 1 beer every 6 months or so) and to step out of the vehicle. After hours passed of sobriety test after sobriety test and discussion after discussion between the officers I was loaded into the back of one of the cruisers and told I was being charged with DUI. I'm guessing at that time of night and after hours of harassment with sobriety tests just about anyone may come across as drunk. After speaking to the bail bondsman, I was the 13th person that day to call for bond after hydroplaning.
The moral of this review is: if your in Loudon County and it's any time of day or night and you've done absolutely nothing wrong and you are not under the influence in any way, don't call these people because they will bring the entire fleet of on-duty police with them to wherever you are so that they can harass you long enough to arrest you for something so they can get money out of you for being in their city/county. I have delt with plenty of tow companies in various different situations and never have I had the police show up with the tow truck over a simple single vehicle hydroplane, let alone end up in jail for a DUI to boot.
They charged me $350 to tow my car 15 miles or so. I've never had a tow around here, so I'm not sure what the standard prices are, but that seems very steep.
While at the shop, I was talking with them about the work to be done. One of their friends walks in, and they stop talking to me mid-sentence and then make me listen to small talk for five minutes before finishing their explanation, which was basically that they would let me know by phone later.
Later, over the phone, they said that the repairs would cost between $200 and $400 but that they would not know until they put the car on the rack. I called later to check, and they were extremely rude on the phone and told me they'd get it done within the next week or so.
A week later, they called and told me what would need to be replaced. I said go ahead, assuming it would be between $200 and $400, because no prices were mentioned. You can imagine my surprise when I got to the shop and the bill was over a thousand dollars. I guess they didn't think it would be necessary to tell me the price had almost tripled from the original estimate.
Stay very far away from this place. Not only do they rob you blind, they are rude while they do it.
