Small but never as crowded as the main recycling center. Easy in and out.

Maybe it’s the holidays, but I am new to the area. The First Horizon Bank was open more during the holidays then this recycling center.. I have two large dumpsters 50 feet away from my apartment and I go out of my way to collect and sort what I know I can contribute back to be recycled. But often this place seems to be closed. It has me giving up on any and all efforts on recycling for my community.

This center has the most knowledgable, attentive, and helpful staff that care about getting as much recycled as possible in a high quality way. I have learned a lot about what is and is not recyclable by using this center.

This place is great. Sorting your recycling before going is not a big deal. It's pretty easy to figure out what goes where because there are signs. And if you have a question and are polite you'll get a polite response back. Is it ideal that there isn't curbside pick up? Nope. But I'm glad we have a close option.

I'm not sure what the concept is here. They sure have a lot of demands and attitude for a recycling center. God help you if you have a question, you'll be answered with some snarky answer. I live right down the road from here and will not utilize them

Organized and clean, but the lady running the place is rude. It's not a place to just arrive and leave your recyclable waste. You need to separate your trash into 10 different categories, a service that employees should do. I will start disposing of my recyclable waste until residential collection begins.

The people are nice, but they’re on island time or vacation time. It’s late to open and early to close. It’s hours are inconvenient to working people who work Mon-Fri. Curbside pick up would be a preferred resource for red bank locals or expanding the recycling center’s working hours. I’m sure it’s fine for people who are not working or retired.

Friendly and helpful staff - one or two nice ladies. Presorting your recyclables makes the process very quick so you can walk them to the labeled bins. I use free liquor-store boxes that some stores leave outside. Organized and tidy place. Open Tuesdays and Thursdays until 5 pm and Saturdays until 4:00. Covid-19 restrictions may have changed that so I would google “recycle Dayton Blvd” for the listing.

The facility is nice but it's only open three days a week (one weekend day), and there really is no excuse to not have a residential curbside recycle program in 2018.

The people that work at this facility close it earlier than the posted hours claim. If you show up ten minutes till closing, you will find the gates shut and an employee who refuses to acknowledge your presence puttering around the bins.

Long and disappointed experience has lowered my expectations of government facilities and services to somewhere south of the ninth circle of hell, and yet this little facility in Red Bank has renewed my faith and hope. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is always clean and easy to get in, get your good work done, and get on your way. Kudos, guys, you are the shining diamonds in the wilderness.
