My husband and I were stranded off the interstate because our truck kept overheating. They came out 40 miles and picked up the truck, then came and picked us up (and all our luggage) the next day. They had to put in new radiator. Gave us a great deal being in such a predicament. They are wonderful!! Honest and work is reliable. We made it to New Mexico with no hiccups at all, our truck drove like brand new. Thank you Get Gone!!!!!
The building doesn’t look like much. But for some reason when you walk in, you know that they are about to fox your car no questions asked! I love a good hole in the wall! This place gives that good hole in the wall friendly service… alongside good hole in the wall prices… all the good things about a hole in the wall with UPDATED processes! I turned my car in one day… I got a quote in my text messages the next day. I accepted the quote… they GOT me GONE in under one week and that was with a holiday weekend. I came in hot… and the AC didn’t work. I left with an icy vehicle. Good job, yall! You’ve earned my loyalty!
Get Gone has done many repairs for me: replacing my engine, air conditioner, heater core, clutch, radiator, brakes, oil pressure sensor, reverse shifter, clean headlights, horn, electric windows, oil pan gasket to name a few. I started going to Get Gone Auto 5-17-14 and have been very satisfied with their service and prices.
They overcharged me and said they charged me for 1 quart of oil and charged me for 3. They when I received my credit card statement they charged me an additional almost $20.00. A total of $31.33 they owe me back. I have had my vehicle in there 4 different times. I will never go back. Then I called them and owner screamed at me and hung up on me!!!!
Not sure what RAC is but I want to shout from the roof top what amazing auto repair shop Get Gone is! Customer service is outstanding and they provide quick and quality auto repair services.
Get gone really helped me out. I had a shop tell me I had a blown head gasket, so I brought my truck here for the service. After changing a busted radiator and thermostat, they were able to perform a proper test and told me I didn't have any issues with my head gaskets. (Saving me thousands in repairs) Fast and friendly. I highly recommend.
Do not go here! Horrible experiences! I was informed my car was repaired and had to return last than 30 mins. After being informed again it was repaired or stopped on me 2 weeks later. Didn't honor contract and correct the issue. Out of $2600 and a vehicle.
I love this place! They have taken care of my cars and my family’s cars since they had their shop in Rossville. Kind and honest people. They are exactly the kind of mechanics you can trust with your car! Pricing has always been fair and much cheaper than the bigger named mechanics in the area. Try them out, you won’t regret it!
I’ve known Cliff And Yetta for over 10 years! Leeland and everyone at their shop always treated me right. Sometimes I had an issues, I would pull up, and they would lend me a hand . Free of charge. They listened and cared. I was a young teenager without a lot of money. Now I’m an adult. They got me back on the road quick. I was a regular customer growing up. They even taught me how to work on my own stuff better. I now perform any work that I can myself. I always keep them in mind for anything that I can’t handle. Very good honest people. They never sold me anything that I didn’t need. Almost every repair done , was just what I needed and nothing more. They have Big hearts, and should probably charge more for their time!
Was going to ls swap my car Took a year just tell me my motor was bad always gave me the run around barley ever got the phone call days ahead to tell them I was going to pick up vehicle so I wanted to make sure it started told me it did keep it mind it started and drove off trailer when I dropped it off tow truck man stated car wouldn’t even start when he picked it up got it home still wouldn’t start tbh think car just sat in the back the whole time didn’t even look at horrible communication would not recommend for performance work
Since these people are clearing being review bombed by somebody with a grudge, who is getting friends to write bogus reviews, I'll give them a REAL one that is five star. Love their work, have a car in there right this minute, and wouldn't take mine anywhere else.
Interaction with them started out well but sent my car in Monday afternoon called next day to check progress. I was told they had just started on it which is perfectly fine, so I gave them about two days before I called back it’s now Friday at 12 and I’ve called 5 times since 7ish don’t know what time they open cause the times aren’t online and no one has picked up the phone and I can’t just ride down there to know the status of my car. Friendly and very nice people from what I’ve interacted with but I’m kinda of irritated
Update* Turns out it was no fault of theirs phones were down and Comcast service is awful that I can attest to.
I love to use local and the first time we used them was great but unfortunately the second time my vehicle sat there for three days with they not letting us know they couldn’t get to it b4 we left out of town. We called several times and went in. Update- Unfortunately that is not true. We set the appointment for Wednesday morning with same day r and no heavy load was ever mentioned. The young lady that works there never called back as promised and would put us on hold for 15 plus minutes. When my husband went in Thursdays after noon he was told first thing today it would be fixed. That did not happen and we had to pick it up at the time specified. This is an unfortunate event as we would have liked to continue using you for our four vehicles.
