I ordered a replacement transmission for my 2015 Kia soul ON LINE that only had 40k miles on it. First, it got lost and took a few days to find it. Drove it to Murfreesboro to have it installed for $650 in labor. The transmission I received is a total piece of junk. Worse than the one that was in my car. Now the say that they are getting a replacement BUT WILL NOT COVER THE LABOR!!! This is so very wrong! I survive on my car making tips delivering pizza. I am 65 years old, on disability and in very bad pain and don’t appreciate being taken advantage of. I am thinking about putting in a call to the BBB and contacting a lawyer. I found out that they really don’t like to sell to the public “ON LINE” because they prefer to work with major repair companies and shops. I think it’s pretty slimy of them. And there add states that all parts are guaranteed to work. Not true. And don't forget the 3 trips I had to make to there store/shop because the first two times I was told it was ready to pick up and when I got there, no transmission? THREE TIMES!!! I NEED MY CAR AND I AM TRYING TO AFFORD IT, NOT GOING HUGRY OR WITHOUT POWER . Apparently they don’t care about anything but making money any way they can. THEY COULD AT LEAST MAN UP AND FIX THIS SITUATION.

The only reason I'm even leaving one star is because Alex the guy working behind the counter was super helpful and I could tell he was doing the best he could with what he was provrided. Unfortunately that isn't much. I came in around 8:00 AM on Monday 4/7/2025 to pick up a radiator for a 2011 duramax that it showed they had in stock. Justin tells me it's still in the vehicle and they can have it pulled around 1 or 2. Inconvenient since I'm already here but I understand they are a big business and have lots of parts to pull so no worries I tell him go ahead and call me when it's out. He calls me at 3:30 and says it's ready but does not mention they close at 4 so I drive all the way there and they are closed. So that's 1 hour wasted. Tuesday morning 4/8/2025 I go in first thing in the morning and get there around 8:05 Justin is not there and Alex is behind the counter I tell him my name and he finds the order and goes and grabs the radiator and the one he brings to the counter appears to be for a Nissan Altima. Definitely not going to work in my 6.6L duramax. So Alex makes a few calls and basically comes to the conclusion that the radiator they had for my truck was damaged so they pulled another random radiator so they would already have something for me. I didn't know radiators were one size fits all but okay ? Alex looks back in the system and they dont have another one at this yard but can order one and have it tomorrow. My bay has already been tied up for 2 days and I have other vehicles to work on so I made the decision to cancel the order. So Alex thanks so much for the help but this place is a joke.

I got told to call this place about parts from someone who does business regularly. I am rebuilding 2 vehicals at the moment. I called to ask about a part for one of my vehicals . They told me they had it and gave me the price. It was higher than I found so I just told them that. I was not being rude. The sales guy just hung up on me. Didn't say anything else like I was wasting his time. That's fine I'll go elsewhere. I dont deal with rude people.

*Edited to add: They didn't even respond to PayPal on the dispute so PayPal is the one who finally issued me a refund. DO NOT do business online with LKQ. I ordered a part an alternator online trying to save money because my car went down right before Christmas. When it arrived, it didn't work. I emailed and asked for a return label and a refund. It took multiple emails to get them to send a return label. When they finally sent it, it was 3 days before Christmas and everything was closed where I could print it so I had to wait until after Christmas to send it off. They received it over 2 weeks ago and I still have yet to receive my refund or any type of correspondence from them at all. I've filed a complaint with PayPal. Don't be cheap like me, just spring for the new part!

I can't say enough great things about "this" location and its customer service. From my 1st ever call and every call since, nothing but friendly and an attitude of "what and how can I help you", did I mention all done with a smile! Great prices and huge inventory to pick from. Just let them know what you need and watch the magic happen!

Went in hoping to trust this company for parts but left due to a man with bad tone and attitude. Having to deal with bad customer service is a big turnoff. Like scatterbrain… who is going to deal with installing the part… me, not you! Honestly, you are better off just buying off eBay just to not deal with these guys. Farewell.

Simple passenger side rear window order REFERENCING the cars registration SO ALL INFORMATION is correct and I’ve received the wrong window not once, but twice. I wouldn’t recommend using this place for parts unless you absolutely have to.

They sold me a radio/cd player for $82. Promised me it had been tested. It didn't work. I removed the face plate to discover it had been scavanged for parts on another radio before I got it. 3 clips were broken and the wire connection ribbons had not even been connected. So I reconnected the ribbons and though the radio now worked, the 6 CD player/changer only read "ERROR" and wouldn't play. Don't believe a thing the old man at the counter in Manchester TN tells you. They don't test their electronics. Apparently that's up to the customer.

Purchased a transmission on Wednesday morning, was promised that it would be delivered on Friday. It finally shows up at my mechanic shop on Tuesday afternoon. Cj was the rudest person I have dealt with at LKQ .

Ro Adams (Mr. Customer Service) is the man you need to talk to. He's got an awesome attitude, great product/service knowledge and knows how to make you feel like a priority even when he's busy. 10/10 will be coming back to him any time I need to locate more parts.

Quit searching the internet and pick up the phone and call these folks, or swing by. They have inventory available that’s not listed online and can get you a better deal on shipping. A+++ experience. Ro was a pleasure to work with, and went out of his way to fulfill my order.

Never told when called two and half hour wait was not told there a cor charge 55 buck part cost me 90 get new for 140 life time warranty new then called back got hung up on took forever to get someone after three calls and drove 60 miles round trip to get alternator and wrong one now have to drive another 60 round trip to get money back and bet I don’t get it back it’s best just buy new parts close and no hassle

This is the largest automotive recycling facility around. They have or can get just about any part. It is quite nice to be able to get the parts I need quickly. They are only open during the week but that's fine. People need days off, too.

Me and a friend of mine walked into the retail side of the building. We entered the office to be greeted very rudely by a big fat white guy being lazy, sitting at his desk with his hands over his headed yelling at us to close the office door as we entered! So gross and rude! Literally didn’t even ask anything and that’s how we’re greeted ?!?!

While my vehicle was too old for them, they called another place and located one. Super nice and I won't hesitate to go back or recommend them to anyone looking for 2006 or newer parts.

Counter open until 4 pm. Phone lines open until 5 pm. The counter is where you could go to review the part you were told was in stock, see the mileage of the vehicle it came from (they should have that available) and order it in person.

I ordered a transfer case for a 2013 Nissan Rogue over two weeks ago. The park came in broken so I was told they would have another one shipped in by Monday of last week and would be delivered the same day. Here I am over a week later with multiple calls from my mechanic who is waiting for the part and multiple calls to LKQ to their sales rep who keeps saying he’ll have it out “today”. How many “today”’s does it take to take the part just a few miles down the road??? On top of that their parts are generally more expensive than elsewhere. I thought I would pay a little extra for service, not to get shuffled around.

Really expensive. They can usually get what you want, but it costs nearly as much as buying aftermarket parts. The guys that work up front are really good guys and great to deal with, but LKQ just charges too much.
