After 2 visits they couldn’t find the issue all that money wasted and the car is the same way it went to them that keep saying it’s this it’s that but they have no clue

Recently had my serpentine belt replaced by this place and to say awful is not even enough I called to tell them it was put on wrong just for him to tell me it could not be put on wrong that my tension pulley or something else is bad after I had mechanic look at it and tell me exactly what was wrong DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERE AWFUL SERVICE AND TRY TO RIP PEOPLE OFF AND CHARGE FOR OTHER THINGS THAT ARE NOT NEEDED PLEASE BE CAREFUL
Bought a jeep from these liers, I should have known better! After 2 days of owning the car (first day driving it), the car started having transmission problems. Left us on the side of the road. Like nice people, they did come get the car; said they’d help us and look at it and blah blah. Well, they call after a weekend (they had the car from Friday-Monday) to let us know we are good to go. Everything was fixed and that he changed this out and changed that out. We get the car back and within 15 minutes it left us on the side of the road AGAIN. Check engine light is not on also.. Ran codes and now has 5 codes popping up and the transmission fluid is OVER filled. The guy stated that he “fixed” an issue over the weekend, but my car DOESN'T even have that part. I caught him in about 4 lies, just talking to him for about 15 minutes. 😶 they are scammers and liers.. I’d never buy a car or even have him touch my car.
Ps: he really needs to learn how to talk to customers, especially a women…
My car has been here for the past month and he claimed to fix it but every time I have picked it up it is worse than it was before. I’m usually not the type to do these but I’m not going to have someone out here screwing over other people. It’s wrong and some just don’t care about others at all. I’m almost convinced this guy is just trying to scam people out of as much money as he can. My car has not been safe to drive at all since it’s been there. I just wouldn’t take my chances going there I’m definitely not going back. Don’t claim you fixed something of you didn’t. Don’t even provide paper work of what he has done on the car. The photo is the code that it was throwing as soon as I picked it up remind you my car never had a check engine light. Also pictures of the invoices that I had to have somebody else pull
Great people and service!! Fast turnaround. Only went one day without a vehicle. And very reasonable pricing. A must of you want quality and fast service!!
Billy is very knowledgeable. Takes the time to address your concerns. And the repair he done on my truck was done right the first time. I highly recommend using him.
Waited 7 hours and paid $500 them to make my car not work! Worst service I've ever experienced in my entire life! Only rating one star because 0 isn't an option
Please read for goodness sake! My niece 20 yrs old came to Liberty SC to bury her grandmother. Gma's name Judy Howard passed 06/05/21 Please check liberty mortuary obituaries to fact check this. She did not have gas money to get back home so she waited for her next paycheck. She drove her car to take her little sister home and a Liberty cop stopped her because her tag light hung down a bit. It was late and she could not find her insurance card so the cop decided to have the car towed. My niece asked if she could call someone but the cop refused and called Lewis Automotive! Lewis Automotive towed it at 12am Friday night. The next day they wanted $250 for a tow of less than 1 mile from a parked space in a shopping center. I spoke to Lewis Automotive on behalf of my niece and told them the circumstances. The girls grandmother just passed, my mother, we just payed out of pocket cash for services at liberty mortuary but the people at Lewis Automotive said tough luck. I offered collateral that was worth way more than a 25yr old Honda with 250k miles on it and they said they would call back that Saturday evening! The next time I spoke with them was Monday morning and they wanted $310 now! I had to get a small loan just to pay a half mile tow. The very worst part beyond their uncompassionate brazen demeanor was that I spoke with a Sheriff's deputy in Pickens Co who worked for liberty, I have to leave nameless, told me that when a Liberty Officer can get a tow from a stop that the tow companies will kick back a percentage to be able to make the tow and the car owner has to pay the inflated bill or their car will belong to the Lewis Automotives of the world. Next time you go to a mechanic that owns a tow truck and you wonder why they have 20 plus cars sitting inside a fence then you will know those cars are as close to stolen as can be.
Please heed this and don't use this company, Lewis Automotive, because if they will treat my 20 yr old niece like this after loosing a grandmother, mom, best friend and a child of Christ then I see no reason they wouldn't treat you and yours any different under better circumstances.

I have to report the owner picked up the phone very professionally and I was immediately confronted with his Chihuahua of a wife in the background telling the business owner answers to my questions.
The car in question that wasn’t insured, Although, the driver was irresponsible and driving a vehicle uninsured, we didn’t ask for anything but the proper service from the tow company. I called the owner and explained the situation and that I would pay by cashapp, Venmo, cash, or check to get the car out. The owner stated, “I dun tawked to tha mother and uncle and assume the whole family is on meth”.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!! MY JEEP HAS BEEN HERE 6 TIMES IN THE LAST 2 MONTHS BECAUSE ONE THING SUSPICIOUSLY BREAKS AFTER ANOTHER AFTER ANOTHER!!! 6TIMES IN TWO MONTHS. I CANNOT DRIVE MY JEEP BECAUSE THEY KEEP BREAKING IT!!!
I wouldn't reccomend this place to anyone at all I took my car for ac repair and fuel pump was only suppose to take a day and it ended up taking 4 weeks when I finally did pick up my car the heat didn't work nor the air on the passenger side I called and the repair man wouldn't speak to me and was rude. Two days later my windshield wipers wouldn't work and when I tilt my sterling wheel up my car cuts off come to find out he took my whole dash apart for what reason only god knows now it's in another shop getting fixed what they BROKE SMH run from this place fast
Use someone else, anyone else for your towing needs! Billy the owner and his receptionist were simply awful to deal with. They were very unhelpful and belligerent. Billy was verbally abusive to us and threatened my son physical harm. Very unprofessional!
Very pleased with the work Billy did on my Solara.I've finally found a regular mechanic close-by!
Replacement of belts, water pump, hoses, etc on my Camry - reasonable price and so very nice to do do business with such accommodating folks !
super kind people, they were nothing but nice to me with smiling faces. i told them i was taking a trip this weekend and without hesitation he asked if i had 15 minutes so he could go check everything over for me, i sat on a comfy couch and the (very sweet) woman at the front desk told me to put whatever on the TV.
he made sure my car was set for my trip, not to mention, my car was IN AND OUT of the shop in like, record time. ive never been more comfortable and happy with a mechanic before.
Way too expensive and unfriendly. $300 for a tow less than 10 miles total. It says “God bless” on the receipt but the receptionist said being friendly has nothing to do with their business. Look somewhere else for help.
If I could give zero stars, I would. As the other review says, they have zero heart. I just totally lost my car, bawling my eyes out, and they could have cared less. Billy Lewis also said $223 was the lowest and then the receptionist told me I was “lucky” I was getting a second tow for $77. And this was to go .8 miles to my mom’s house on Anderson Hwy. POINT 8. The first trip was maybe 7 miles from Easley for a total of $300. A complete rip off and far from friendly. Please, go somewhere that will respect and value your needs.
They charged to much it was only there until morning nobody has a heart im on a low fixed income i ask could he go any lower he said no 223 dollars is alot for 4 or 5 hours imsorry i feel like this but i do thank you
I don't no if we had bad experiences due to people being in bad moods or just having a bad day, but you don't lie and yell at your customers on any extent!!
I had a great experience working with Lewis. My clutch gave out on my jeep and I made a few calls around town. Lewis took me in the same day and gave me a quote for how much the repairs would cost. The job took shorter than I expected and the results were great. Lewis also gave me a good rate for the repairs.
