We have used Keith for many years and now love Thomas just as much! They are totally honest & very fair (actually sometimes I think they should charge more than they do) in their pricing. We trust their judgement completely.
They really know vehicles. Good freindly service, like folks from the past. But modern connections to correctly diagnose less common problems, and get parts quickly.
Dropped a truck off for an inspection on Tuesday mid day. Was told may get to it today but Wednesday most likely. Waited until closing on Thursday and it hasn’t been looked at. Nice guy. Might do good work but don’t expect to believe his time line.
Pick's is the only place we take our cars. They are efficient and cost effective and will try to rule out smaller issues before recommending expensive repairs.
So far, so good. I had taken my car to Cobb Tire on Wade Hampton for a/c repair. They failed to listen and I had to keep taking it back b/c it was fixed. After giving them thousands of dollars, I kept having problems. I never went back. I found Pick’s and decided to give them a try. The car was repaired the 1st time and at a fair price. I hope they continue with this type of service. Word of mouth goes a long way!
I was referred to Pick's Garage. A diamond in the ruff. Fast service, but you have to get in line.
Car broke down. Towed in to Pick's on Sunday evening.Monday he calls an says car is ready.
He said, you had no coolant in car. I filled it, and it's running fine. I picked it up, that was 4 or 5 months ago. He charged for coolant. $25.00 That was it. He is so down to earth. Young man that works for him ( I'm terrible w names) Mannerly and pleasant. Hard worker.
I wished I could have found them years ago. Honest, Kind and knows you need your car.

I had to outsource work from one of my repair facilities to Picks Garage. Mr. Keith and Mr. Thomas were extremely professional and thorough on their diagnostic. I’m extremely glad I chose them for advice, as now I am confident the source of the problem has been found. Great service!

Had my serpentine belt replaced in July and it ended up prematurely failing last week. Pick’s got me in, replaced the belt, and made sure there wasn’t some other issue going on. They didn’t charge me for the belt or labor. This is the kind of shop they are!
I thought that I needed to have the brakes bled in my car due to the slack feel of the pedal. The technician found out that one of the calipers had an issue. I was not charged for the diagnosis. I will return to get the caliper issue resolved. I was impressed with their service!

Took my 99 Pontiac Grnad Am to several mechanics because the car was wanting to cut off on me and all of them said its time for me to get rid of it...don't know why I didn't take it to Picks Garage first...Pick found out that somebody crossed the spark plugs and that why it was wanting to cut off...he is very nice and helps you to understand what is going on!!!Thanks Keith!!!

This visit, I needed all new tires (yes, he can sell me tires now too) and I asked him to check out an error code. Turns out it was an O2 sensor.
I’ve always taken my vehicle here, and my father always took his vehicles here.
I’ve put almost 2 million miles on about 13 different vehicles, and Keith is the guy I go to when I need something. As long as he’s open and fixing cars, I’ll have a trusted place to take mine.
Keith has always been great about doing good, honest work at a great price. Have used him for 10+ years and have even walked away with no charge. He is a good man and runs a good business.
Great work at a extremely fair price I had him adjust the valves on my 85 c10 with a 67 327 swap I was having trouble getting them perfect because of the cam but he took care of it and did a outstanding job would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fair mechanic.
