We were from out of town with a major car problem. Went to ALM Hyundai and met with Vanna who was amazing! Helped us find overnight accommodations, provided us shuttle service to and from hotel and coordinated our repairs. We were back on the road in 24 hours and were on our way to almost sunny Florida! Big thanks to Vanna for her efforts and kindness.

Story time with Kendra: Back in July 2025, we purchased a 2016 Honda HR-V from ALM Hyundai of Florence. We found it on CarGurus and it looked like a fair deal, so we drove from Myrtle Beach to Florence to check it out.
Once we got to the dealership, we were told the actual price was about $3,000 more than what was listed online because the online price was a “promotional” price (and yes, they pointed out the fine print on CarGurus saying prices can be higher). We still moved forward because we needed the vehicle for my 16-year-old daughter.
Less than 3 months later—and with not even 600 miles driven—she ended up stuck on the side of Highway 501 when the SUV went into limp mode. We later found out the transmission needed to be replaced.
Thank goodness we purchased an extended warranty, because that has honestly been the only saving grace in this situation. Even with the warranty, we still had to pay a $250 deductible, and we also paid $400+ to have the vehicle towed back to Florence. The warranty company did cover labor and the rental/loaner while the work was being done.
They provided a loaner, but the back-and-forth with it was another headache (minor compared to everything else, but still frustrating).
We finally got the car back in December… and now it’s January and we’re already dealing with another issue again. I reached out to the service department and was told someone would call us, but as of today we still haven’t heard anything back.
Lesson learned. If you purchase a used vehicle from here, make sure you get the extended warranty—because you’re probably going to need it.Jan 27, 2026 -
When I purchased my car I had excellent service, after totaling said car not to my fault I have had nothing but issues with getting a call back. Mind you I totaled my car months ago have called 3 times mail box is full. Guess showing my face in person will be the only way to get things done.

I have always had great service experiences at ALM Hyundai in Florence, SC. Everyone with whom I have interacted has been kind and pleasant to work with. Vanna in the Service Department has assisted me with service for my Hyundai Santa Fe. She is professional, personable, and extremely helpful. I highly recommend ALM Hyundai in Florence to anyone looking to buy a Hyundai product! Their service is far superior to what I have experienced at other dealerships in the past.

Truly loved my car when I first got it back in November 2024, I got my first oil change March 2025, one of the techs in the service didn’t put a piece on correctly and the oil came out, causing the engine light to come on. I wanted to trade right away so I didn’t get a brand new car back to mess up. Fast forward, 3/19/25, the engine light comes on after this happened with the oil change. They assured me it was not anything. Starting in sep 2025 I kept an engine light to come on, I would take it they “couldn’t” figure out the problem, finally after going 4/6 different times 12/30 they put a part on because it was a “evap leak” next morning on 12/31 I wake up get half a mile down from my home gong to work engine light returns. I have called, told them I truly don’t want this vehicle back. I’ve expressed my concerns on why, asked could they help me get into a different car, but not Hyundai Tucson, without messing with my payments. Truthfully I’d get another make, but I would be content to stay with them I do love the way they look. I feel like I haven’t had much help and they think I’m stupid. I am not stupid. I feel as a customer they should wanna be helpful. the service manager , Miranda have been helpful they do understand my concerns. I know they can’t do but so much but I called to speak to there GM and he was a butt, and acted like he couldn’t understand my concerns to even help me. Caitlyn.

Mr. Johnson was very kind and accommodating. He listened to my wants,and concerns. He allowed me to show him what I had found on line and advised me on which vehicle he thought I would be better satisfied. He did not try to see me on an expensive car but a better version that I would enjoy.
We encountered several employees that were friendly and pleasant.
The finance person absolutely was kind and understanding. They all treated us great...evened concerned that we were made comfortable while we waited...(it was a very busy day for Alm).

My 2013 Hyundai Genesis started having issues and I contacted Alm Hyundai of Florence SC. They gave me an appt and within 5min of being there they were working on my baby. Mrs. Miranda was awesome, she jumped right in and got the service men out to my car; they took her to the service area! Mrs. Miranda kept me updated and even found that there were two recalls on my baby which she said we will take care of it while we have it and I was ecstatic that I was able to get everything done at this time!!! I was there at 9 and was out by 12:30 but my baby was diagnosed and repaired including the two recalls and she was purring again and I was so very grateful. Also, the cost of the repair was much less than I expected!!!! So I will be going back if needed…

I had a wonderful experience buying my 2026 Hyundai Tucson Limited from ALM Hyundai! This was my first time purchasing a car from a dealership, and I was pretty nervous going in, but everyone was so friendly and helpful.
Cristena took great care of me throughout the entire process. She let me look around without any pressure and helped me figure out what I actually wanted — which turned out to be the exact car I drove home in! She made everything feel easy and comfortable.
I was pleasantly surprised to qualify for 0% APR on a brand new car, and the team worked with me to get my monthly payment as low as possible. I really appreciated that.

Travis helped me with the type of car I wanted. He took my needs seriously. I had demands when I walked into Hyundai. I did not want to be sold extras and then have a higher payment than what I wanted. Travis wasn’t pushy at all. He explained my options, just that, I had options. It was my choice. That is what I liked. He got my a lower interest rate, the car I wanted, the color I wanted and with the payment I expected. I’ve never given a car salesman a review before. It’s been over 20 years since I bought my first new car. Travis wasn’t pushy professional. He cared about what I wanted and made sure his co-workers knew it lol. I recently purchased a Grand Jeep Cherokee, from ALM Hyundai in Florence, SC. My Salesperson - Aaron Pierce was fantastic, he was helpful, knowledgeable about the diffrent models, courteous, patient, kind and professional throughout the entire process; also the Sales manager - Greg, Financial manager - Markese and BDC Agent - Alyssa were courteous and professional in assisting me during my vechile purchase as well. I would highly recommend ALM Hyundai for your next vechicle purchase or trade in, they are definitely a car dealership that provides excellent customer service.

Great customer service!!!! No hassle, or pushy salesman. My experience with this dealership was the best, and I have purchased several vehicles previously. If u don't see ur vehicle on the property, they can locate a vehicle for you online at their other dealerships. AARON PIERCE was a great guy to deal with, he showed patience while showing me several different vehicles. I would definitely shop here again.

I purchased my car at ALM Florence October, 2024. I scheduled my first oil change over the phone for this past Friday and I was pleased. I drove up to the Service Area and as I was exiting the vehicle Vanna Fuller, Service Advisor greeted me. She was professional and pleasant. She explained the process and I felt at ease. I was told the servicing would take about 45 mins to 1 hour and it was completed within that time range. Vanna explained what was done to the vehicle and returned my keys and provided me with a receipt. The car was returned as clean as I left it and my settings were all in the right place. Thank you Vanna Fuller for a great experience.

Customer Service is so important to me. Upon entering ALM-Florence, I was greeted by Mr. Jolley, and his name suits him to perfection. He asked me everything I was looking for in a vehicle, and wanted me to be completely satisfied with my purchase. I had in mind of purchasing a certified pre-owned Santa Fe. We test drove a couple, and I was in love. I spotted the Green Santa Fe on the lot, and asked Mr Jolley to get the keys, and without hesitation he did. From the moment I decided on that vehicle, to getting financed was super easy and super fast. Mr Jolley was so patient and thorough with explaining all of the features. Walked me through the app to make sure I understood everything, and reassured me in case I forget anything, that he was just a phone call away. My 2025 “Lucky Charm” is exactly what my family needed.
