AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP! Went with my parents to buy a car and the salesman refused to show us anything without running their credit first. He wouldn't even look up the inventory or answer our questions about cars in their price range (up to $30,000). We've bought cars at this dealership in the past and received great service. Not today. You've lost a loyal customer.
I cannot say enough about Vanna in the service department. Vanna and the technician (I believe his name was Michael) went above and beyond to help me and I couldn't be more appreciative. They took what was a very frustrating situation (caused by a totally different dealership) and made it right. I hope this message is seen by whoever their bosses are because not only do they deserve a raise and a promotion, you need to know you have a true gem in these two employees! I was traveling on 95 from south Florida when my 2021 Palisade sunroof blowout, I was just outside Florence and I went straight there. The service tech, Vanna, was so patient, took my issue to the Service Manager who are working with the Corporate office to make the repairs happen. Within 1.5 hours they had me in a loaner car and took care of my every need. Tremendous compassion, attention to my needs being stranded traveling, & in such a timely manner.

Good dealership overall, and sales people that I have worked with have been decent and upfront, but verify your service agreements before you go. Called a week in advance to verify that I still had a free service for both my vehicles, and if that was the last one for both. The person I talk to said yes, but on arrival (I live an hour away) was informed that I didn’t have one on that vehicle, and I would have to pay for the oil change, after it was already taken to the back. Now to be fair, both ladies at the service desk were pleasant and professional, so I am NOT blaming them for anything, but if I had known that, I could have saved over three hours of my day, and just had my car serviced locally. Again, the service ladies were great, not on them at all, but whoever answered that phone that day kinda missed something.

I usually do not like dealing with car dealerships. I'll just start right there. But the whole crew at ALM was truly just amazing and very personable and didn't waste my time which I appreciate. My salesman Luke helped me out throughout the entire process. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, great personality, and very helpful. If you go there, Luke is the salesman you want. The manger Gregg was straight forward and we didn't have to do all of the back and forth which I appreciate. And Keith in finance got me in and out. Overall this Dealership is A1 in my book, and I will recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle.

So, I decided to gift my old car to my newly licensed teenagers. In order to do that, I needed a new vehicle. ALM Hyundai Florence was the first dealership that I stopped by. I wasn't planning on purchasing a vehicle that day, but with the welcoming atmosphere, prices, warranties, and wide variety of vehicles, I couldn't leave without purchasing.
DILLON not only went to another lot to drive back another vehicle for me to check out, but he did so expeditiously, with the best attitude. He put the two vehicles that I could not decide between, side by side and allowed my children and me to take our time to compare them. That made my decision making much easier! He was the best car salesman that I have ever worked with.

Disappointing. Frustrating and Lazy.
I’m an out-of-state buyer looking for a very specific vehicle and needed it done in a small window of time due to a lot of moving parts and deadlines. I called the same day the vehicle was put up for sale. Salesman’s Michael Bowers answered. Knowing this was the car I wanted I asked if I could put a deposit on the car right away. For the first day, he couldn’t find the car on the lot, I waited a few more hours. I called back, now he couldn’t find the keys to the car. That was the entire first day. He left that night and never called me back to update me. The second day he said don’t worry the car won’t get sold cause I can’t find the keys, he finally found the keys and took a couple pictures, I asked when I could get an inspection lined up, and get the paperwork started he said he would call me back, and that the car hadnt even been through the dealerships shop yet or cleaned up, and things move at a slower pace in south carolina. He also told me it’s the law that you have to be in person to purchase a vehicle in the state of south carolina… I called the DMV, that’s not true, just need wet signatures. I have purchased from out of state before., and told him I would get a flight if I needed to. So once again I’m waiting to hear back from him…. Last communication with Michael was at 2:30pm. I tried calling and texting him at 5pm no response, left my dinner to call and text before the dealership closed to get it wrapped up. No response. Called the 3rd day and talked to another salesperson who informed me the car got sold the night before at around closing. I’m beyond disappointed. Michael Bowers clearly doesn’t want to sell a car even when someone is throwing money at him. Absolutely Lazy and foolish.

He asked me everything I was looking for in a vehicle, and wanted me to be completely satisfied with my purchase. I had in mind of purchasing a certified pre-owned Santa Fe. We are so happy we bought the Santa Cruz. To us it is the number one small truck out there. Very comfortable and roomy. Love the safety features and the side camera angles when backing and pulling forward in parking lots. Also love the blinker camera as well. We got over 30 miles a gallon on our trip from Manning SC to Merrills Inlet. Our salesman, Jon Marbury, was fantastic and went over all the features of the vehicle with us.
