They even picked up my wifes phone calls while they had it and stole things from the car. And of course denied it while charging us $380 for 12 mins.

Was in a pinch with my truck breaking down just after the bridge to Hilton head. Called D&M and he was there within a half hour. Considerate kind guy who I was so grateful to help me. Fair pricing . Will always be who I call for help if needed. Highly recommend. Thanks D&M
I’ve used D&M several times towing my vehicles to the shop. Good guy that gets a bad rap for doing his job. My insurance lapsed on my van and this company was called to have my vehicle towed. He was considerate to me because I gave him the respect he deserved. I’ll use this company before I use any other on this island.
I called D&M To get a quote to Tow my boat trailer that had broken down. I received a quote immediately and was told he could be there within the hour. D&M Not only had the best price, but he was able to tell me when he could get to me. He texted me on the way, and as he said, was definitely there within the hour. He was knowledgeable and friendly. I don’t usually write reviews, but after talking to the other towing companies, I felt this company stood out above all the others with their price and service. I would highly recommend!
I've used D&M Towing for over ten years and I'd recommend them to anyone. The team has always been there to help me with my classic cars whenever I was in a pinch. They are quick, fair priced and always kind and enthusiastic. Don't believe the 1 star reviews, those are people that got their cars towed and they want give D&M grief because they can't leave bad reviews for H.O.A.s and deputies that called for tows. Don't shoot the messenger, D&M Towing is on point!
So thankful! My 20 year old pregnant daughter was broken down on the island today, the car was immobilized and people were being extremely rude to the point she was in tears. Denny got to her within 10 minutes. He will definitely be my go to going forward!! Thank you so much again!
I had an accident and my car was totalled. I was shook up beyond belief, and honestly in a really bad position to have my car totalled financially and emotionally, having recently had to cancel the collision. The police called the tow company. Denny, from D & M towing went above and beyond to assist me not only that day with the tow, but the next day in resolving the finalization of my tow bill and totalling my car. He was a gentlemen who was not only a professional, but showed kindness and compassion at a time that I needed it. I give him a 5 star ++++++ not only on his business, but on his humanity.
The sherif call this driver to pick my vehicle up and then the driver gave me attitude when I ask him questions respectfully. Not to say my vehicle got towed 3 miles away from the tow yard and the tow fee was $350.00
This company is both more than an extortion business. They block public road ways to extort citizens. They do this with the help of local police. The owners and employees should be locked up. The entire local police force should be investigated.
D & M Towing is the BEST Beaufort County has to offer. They treat your vehicle as there own, are prompt , professional, and courteous. In my eyes, they are the BEST!!!
I showed up without an appointment. Contacted the owner who was gracious enough to delay his tight schedule and meet with me so I could remove belongings from our wrecked car. Many thanks again.
This guy was rude, unprofessional and had no compassion for me, my wife and son. We also had our dog with us and could not get an uber to come out to where we were to get a ride to the towing place. We walked a mile from where are car was towed and when we got there there the guy who was working just looked at us like we were crazy. No customer service. No professionalism. No greeting. We had to acknowledge him first and then he told us to keep walking to the gas station to get cash because they did not take credit or debit cards. I'm a man of God and I know something shady is going on at this place. I could tell by his vibe. The same compassion you show will be the same compassion you get. Trust and and believe you will need the same mercy and grace you deny someone else. God will be the one to judge this man. I don't have to do anything but pray for you. You know who you are. God bless your soul.
Only company who answered the emergency call on a Sunday eve. DM was the farthest away but came and got the car. Professional and courteous! Thank you!
Have brought the companies shady dealings to the IRS’s attention. And have already heard back. you can only pay in “cash”. Cannot wait to see what the future holds for this D&M.
Made our family miss a overseas flight! This place should be Shut Down! Over $30 dollar jump Start! Had to have Cash, Not a Credit Card!!! Then called the police and allmost went to jail! If it wasn't for a stranger overhearing the argument, and them paying the bill we still mite be spending Christmas in that S÷=thope! Call At Your Own Risk!!!
I have used D&M Towing Service a few times. The driver was always very helpful. They provided prompt service and very professional and upfront when I called to request their services. I will definitely use D&M again if I need any type of tow service.
My car got towed from Legends and in the hour of me parking to drop off my coworker. They charged me $200 cash only to pick up my car. Horrible customer service. Receipt didn't include tax. This guy is obviously unethical. Would not recommend to anyone. He probably ripped up the receipt when I drove away and pocketed the money.
Rip off. Called by Beaufort County Sheriff to tow a company truck. Charged $450 for 5 mile tow to their yard, then $150 to tow to shop the next day, but hit us for 2 days storage anyway. Avoid!
Towed my sister's car while she stopped over my place to visit for a few hours. When she went to leave her car was gone so she had to get an Uber home. Conveniently didn't have any paperwork to give us and only took cash as payment $200. Very unprofessional and crooked business.
Towed our car without leaving a required 24 hour notice, attempted to change the price to release the vehicle multiple times. Definitely a shady company.
LIFESAVER!!! I have absolutely no idea why there are so many bad reviews! We called about 5:30 for assistance with changing a tire on a Saturday afternoon. The owner arrived promptly, went above and beyond to help! Price was very fair, and he even recommended someone to help further with boat trailer repair. I think this company is a rare find in this day and age. We were traveling home, and would have been stranded without his help. I couldn’t have hoped for anything more. Lifesaver-truly!!! THANK YOU!
I had no issues with D&M Towing... They always on time... Yes I have my car towed from parking in the wrong place n I knew it and was told not to park there... So if you can except your wrong then you want have no problems with people doing there job!!! Thanks to D&M keep doing your job....
Towed my car on Saturday. Got to their yard immediately, but my car wasn't there. Called the number and the guy said they are closed on the weekends. Guy in a truck comes up in their yard and said he don't work for them and they would show up shortly. Called the guy back and he was threatening to hold my car until Tuesday. Said he would release it Sunday between 9:30am-10:00am. Called at 9:30 and said we can come get it. Drive all the way out to their yard and still no car. Called the guy back again and he said the driver was an hour away. Waited a while and he called back to say my car is across the street and a guy would be out to release. What do you know, the same guy that was there last night (who didn't work for them) showed up to release the car. $295 cash only to get the car back.
You can go literally anywhere else and be treated better. Had to change their hours on google so customers and businesses don't think they are 24 hours like they say. 8-5 Monday through Friday.
The day I call to get my car I was told that he would not release it to me that day. But I was charged for keeping it later even though I was willing to pay him and pick it up immediately as soon as I noticed it was towed. I was then told it was $400 to get my car back. When I showed up with the $400 in cash because they don't accept card he tried to squeeze me for an additional $10. A cruel company!
These people will rob you! After a horrible hit and run accident, the police insisted on this towing company coming to get our car. The lot was only about a mile away and yet my car was nowhere to be found for days. Then, the owner held my car hostage and would not tell us where it was and after they charged me a ton of extra fees that did not apply to me. CROOKS!!!!!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVERRRRR!!!!!!!!
Towed my car from my assigned parking spot at my apartment, then charged me extra b/c I couldn't get there till after noon (mostly BC I didn't have my car. The girl on the phone was so rude, when all i was asking for was advice and trying to get my car back. She even hung up on me. It cost me $250 to park at my own apartment. I still don't know how its legal or who to contact.
