I will not be returning to this establishment. I’ve been coming to Morris’ since December 2024, and I have officially decided to not return. The last two times I’ve been there, they have done an awful job and made me feel incompetent. My oil change a few months ago, they mentioned I needed new brakes soon because they were at 30%. My most previous oil change, they didn’t even mention anything about the brakes, nor did they call me when my truck was ready to be picked up. It took them over three hours to do an oil change, so I went to check on my vehicle, and they didn’t even know if anyone had worked on it yet. When I finally got my vehicle, there was no sticker in my windshield determining any work had been done or when my next oil change was due. Additionally, I’ve had many issues with my vehicle this year and have tried communicating that with them. Every time I brought up an issue I was concerned about, they just brushed it off or said it was no issue and just cleared the codes on my vehicle without looking into them deeper. Just two days ago, my vehicle was having battery issues and completely died. My boyfriend (who works on boats, not cars) noticed my battery was from 2021. For info, batteries on average last 3–4 years, 5 if you’re really lucky. He noticed I needed a new battery and changed it for me. That’s something the shop never mentioned to me or even checked on. Additionally, my boyfriend bought a code reader because my vehicle was having other issues. The simple code reader picked up that I had an EVAP leak and my thermostat gauge was permanently stuck open, affecting my gas mileage and coolant. These codes most certainly showed up on their PROFESSIONAL code reader, but the shop never took care of that once or even mentioned it to me. Last but not least, my vehicle was having transmission issues, so I dropped it off at the shop to see what they could figure out. They drove it around and said, “it runs like a brand new truck, we didn’t see any issues.” They charged us $160 in “labor,” aka they drove it around, used my gas, and charged me to essentially just call me stupid. Turns out my vehicle has been having issues that Morris’ never figured out, and I had to figure out myself. Never going back.

The man driving the tow truck who was able to jumpstart my dead battery arrived no more than 20-25 minutes after I called. He recommended a garage to get my battery replaced and even took a quick photo of the VIN tag and texted it to the garage owner so that they could have a battery waiting for me by the time I got there. I would swear that I never call anyone else except that I moved out of state 10 days later!

I took my 2021 Jeep Wrangler Sahara here for the “death wobble” and they had me in and out, even though I used CarShield! They kept me well-informed throughout the repair process via calls and texts. I highly recommend Morris Garage and I will definitely be back! Thank you!!

Outstanding shop that can get you in about, and handle almost all of the repairs everyone else can in town, AND THEY DON'T charge you $180 for an "inspection" every time a check engine light comes on. If you know, you know.

I needed a tire swapped off of my boat trailer & initially called Mavis & Firestone to see if they could fix it. Both refused so called Morris. They said no problem so I made appointment there. They took off first tire & slapped on 2nd tire in about 3 minutes flat! Fantastic service & pricing that can’t be beat!

Ran off the road into a ditch in okatie while it was raining to avoid running into the car in front of me that had just hit someone. Told officer I had AAA but he informed me he had already called the tow company and I had to let them tow it. Called the next morning and they quoted me $980 to get my car. I dont even have close to that. My mom just passed away in September and this was the only thing I had left from her and i feel like they basically stole my car. Now everything in my life is suffering im not able to get places i need to and honestly dont know how im going to dig myself out of this hole now. I had AAA, already paid for. They refused to work with me and less than a week later say theyve already applied for the title. I want to just give up on life at this point, these people are heartless dont use them

This was close to work and my roadside assistance came and took my car to Morris Garage & Towing Inc and it was great service from the time they received car.

The best mechanic shop around. I only take my vehicles to Morris! Highly recommended and great work.

I work for Tommy's Towing next door and I smelled them grilling food so I asked if I could have some. They let me have all I wanted! They were so polite and so nice to me even though I worked for another company. That to me shows the type of people they are and I personally would use them if I ever needed something done or needed a tow. I hope you have just as good of an experience as I had.

I was having issues with my truck and the dealership offered me a crazy amount to get it fixed. Everyone heard my concerns and it turned out to be a simple fix. 10/10. This is gonna be my new spot. Thank you for your honesty and help

My car broke down in the Walmart parking lot in Beaufort so I called them just after 10. Their tow truck driver Chris was there in about 40, and was able to fix it in about 15 minutes. I thought it was going to cost $800-900, but it was quick, easy, and no pressure. Thanks to them

I recently had my car repaired at Morris Garage in Bluffton, South Carolina, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. The repair itself was done efficiently and with great care. My car now runs smoothly, and I feel confident in the quality of their work.

A year ago went here to replace a dead battery that only lasted a year. Just came back to get another battery replaced but was charged the same amount as last year, $300. Car batteries should last way more than one year yet they still charged me full price for the second replacement. Don’t recommend this place plenty other places with way more reasonable prices.

I was very unhappy. I asked to have one brake line fixed that was leaking. Kept it 2 days. When I went to pick up bill was almost $100 more than I was quoted. When I asked why they could not give me a reason. Never again will I go here or recommend

If you need a mechanic, I cannot recommend Morris Garage enough! I want to take a moment to give them the highest glowing review possible. Not only did they get my husband’s truck in to be looked at after an unexpected problem immediately last week, they were then extremely communicative throughout the process and efficient in getting the work done. This week we had to take my vehicle in and again, the communication was top notch and the honesty about service that is needed or not needed is absolutely unlike any other business I’ve ever dealt with. I trust Morris garage ? and highly recommend them to anyone looking for an honest and quality mechanic! If I could give them 10 stars, I would! ?

This is the only place I will ever take my vehicles. My Family has been taking our vehicles to this establishment since 1996, and I wouldn't have any other way. I got my engine replaced with them. After paying nearly $10k to get it done. The day I went to pick it up. Paid the remaining balance. As I was waiting eager and excited to have my car back due to a blown head gasket. Tell me why they came to me and told me that they could not get the car. These people tried to charge me an additional $500+ because the car was not cranking. I had already told them prior I was coming to get the car. A 2016 Dodge Dart. They took my money and tried to get more money out of me. I was so upset and disappointed. I never had any issues with my car cranking even with it sitting in my yard with a blown head gasket it always crunk up. They blamed it on the alternator. They did not care that I had spent so much money with and got a Uber from Savannah,Ga to South Carolina just be told my car wouldn’t crank!? RIDICULOUS! I’m so disappointed because I was referred to by someone that worked closely with them just for them to treat me this way. I demanded that they fix the issue and after waiting 4 hours it was fixed.Now here I am 6 months later the alternator has gone out again. They are refusing to honor the warranty for my alternator. It’s hard enough as woman dealing with mechanics. I have had my check engine light on and they refuse to fix it just a few days after picking it up. My thermostat keeps hovering over the middle line. I had to pay to have my car towed and checked out. They claim that they can’t find the issue. Now I’m going to have to take it to Dodge a certified dealer to confirm that everything was properly repaired. This place does not care about you they just want to take your money. I will never do business with them again! Update: Responding to the very nonchalant response: I do not owe balance. Correct me if I’m wrong if I owed a balance I would of never been able to have my car. Once again your business tried to get over on a honest paying customer. Very disgusting. Maybe it’s because I’m African American you don’t care to really correct or resolve the matter. I would not be surprised. The fact of the matter is my car was not up and running when I arrived. My “balance was paid in full. THEN you attempted to charge more because it did not crank. Which I was told my car was ready to go. Negligence on the behave of your business. I don’t owe you anything ! I’m glad to find honest mechanics instead of nasty rude people like yourself. I do keep my receipts. Businesses that run like this don’t last for long so good luck to you all as well !

Problems with your vehicle? Call these guys! Foreign or domestic brand cars, the staff at Morris Garage are awesome. You know you're at a good repair shop when the front office personnel know as much as the mechanics! Speaking of front office staff, Jacqui was very up front with me, letting me know that the holidays were causing a bit of a delay on everything, but she was still able to get my car fixed a day earlier than expected. Thanks Morris Garage folks! I'll definitely see you the next time my car needs care.

Old-school, honest place with very competitive pricing. I wouldn’t bring a newer car or anything less than 60k. I almost gave four stars because they left very noticeable dirty foot prints on the door, trim, and inside. You might have to wait a minute, it is not an in-n-out place; my car was blocked in and I had to wait. All said, a very positive experience and I will be returning. Towing service seems top notch, they are all over Bluffton.

Awesome service. Carl came out on a holiday and towed my car to a local center to get my windshield replaced after my car was vandalized on Fripp. Highly professional, friendly, and took great care of my vehicle. Extremely fair pricing. Outstanding communication. The dispatcher was outstanding, too!

Well we were looking forward to going to Morris because they have such a high reputation. Our family’s business is located near them and they came highly recommended by our clients. Just went to get tires mounted and ended up paying $450 because their mechanic struggled to get lug nuts removed…. Labor costs… definitely kind of sucks, I understand labor costs being a diesel mechanic myself… so the idea of struggling that bad with lug nuts makes me question their mechanics a little bit. And yes, if I had the equipment to remove and mount new tires I would have done it myself. For much, much less. Terrible.

They are always great with taking good care of my car! The staff is very friendly. The fellow that works there even brought my car to my hose so I didn't need to get a ride from someone. Then we went back to the garage to bring him back. The prices are good too!

I’ve been using Morris garage for all of our car repairs for well over 10 years. They are reliable, honest and fairly priced. They have countless times saved me hundreds of dollars. I even take potential cars that we are going to purchase to them to get their opinion before buying. If you’re using dealerships to repair your car, you are definitely paying too much. I would not trust my car with any other repair shop.

Morris Garage is the place to go if you need work done on your vehicle. While it may seem a bit disorganized looking from the outside... they have a system that works! You can call ahead a schedule an appointment, they are honest and let you know up front how busy they are and when they can get to your car. They have an extensive knowledge of a wide variety of vehicles and do their research to solve any problem your vehicle may have. When they quote you a price that is the final price and not a penny more. They are honest with you about your car. They are friendly. Plus they have wicked cool snake in their office area! Overall, it is a great place to take your car. My family has been using Morris Garage for years and we intend to continue for years to come.

They were a BLESSING!!!! My family of four were leaving the Hilton Head, when a truck carrying metal scaffolding lost peices infront of us and we collected on through the suspension and then through the firewall, which made the vehicle inoperable. Morris towing was called and came promptly. We live five hours away and don't know anyone from the area. The Troopers and the tow truck driver got us off the road. Insurance company took us to a BMW but they were not able to help us. The tow truck driver called his brother and he came and picked us up in his own personal vehicle and transported my family or four to three different car rental companies and wouldn't leave till we got a vehicle to go home. This totaled up to approximately three hours!!!! By the way, the tow truck driver and the brother were the family that owns the tow service. Great bunch of people, I wouldn't hesitate using them for anything. It's good to know there's still people that care about other people. God Bless them and their family.

Locally owned shop. Owners and employees are wonderful. Never had any problems with anyone. They will talk with you about your vehicle, give you suggestions and work with you on what is “best” for you and your situation. Don’t overcharge and will explain everything before they do the work, and they do an excellent job. If I ever gave a 5 out of 5 it would be here, just never do because everyone has room to improve.
