I bought rotors and break pads. But they had given the wrong sizes. This cost me a lot money in the auto repair shop. Because after going to autoshop, they found out the sizes don't match. Then they charged me more.

I generally like AutoZone and have made quite a few purchases over the years. This last time around was some oil and oil filter and an air filter for my engine. The air filter box was pretty roughed up and I mentioned that to the associate who just said something to the effects of yeah I know but thinking that people should do their jobs I didn't think to look in the box, which I should have because apparently whomever put it on the shelf did not check the product before doing so because it was unusable. I was on my way to return at the end of the day, I had my receipt in my visor and the wind sucked out of my window driving down the road so now I have an air filter that I cannot use

Sep.7 2025. Went to purchase a steering wheel puller for my clock spring replacement task. They provided a FREE LOANER PULL KIT. That did the trick. Very relieved I did not have to make a purchase of a tool I will never need again. Thanks Wakefield RI Autozone!!

It's okay but you pay a lot more than you do online but if you need something and can't or don't want to wait it ts as good as it gets I suppose. The employees are cool and helpful. I never have issues with the staff. Good overall experience

I had an ABS light pop up on my car a few days ago, went to autozone to get it scanned and a very nice and knowledgeable employee named Craig helped me diagnose it very quick. I recommend going here for any issues.

My CEL (check engine light) went on so I stopped in to have the code read (they do it for free here) - Rob at the front counter was more than happy to run outside on a cold day to plug the code reader in & got me a computer printout within moments! The staff here has always been very eager to help me from the moment I walk through the door! Thanks again!

I can’t stand walking I’m here to get a thing Ever see the faces on the workers Shirts untucked Attitude sucks ( if you don’t like your job get a new one ) And what’s up with vaping in the store Last I checked that’s still smoking and it’s a public place You can’t smoke in a business Not happy But they did have my order, I had to call and ask if it was there There’s more but why bother

I called to check about disposal of oil when I got I first went in and asked where to bring oil in Went and got the oil placed it on the counter as instructed The a lady possibly the mgr came over a emphatically said I can’t take any more oil !! Repeatedly! When I said I called ahead she still refused to take it an seemed to question if I actually called She borders on being rude to customers !

I would like to comment about John in the Wakefield AutoZone store. He was very pleasant and helpful when I was there making a purchase. I also asked him a separate question about my car, and he was very honest and knowledgeable. He was very nice to interact while shopping at the store and getting my windshield wipers put on.

Recently I went to AutoZone twice to purchase brake light and running light bulbs for my 2011 VW Jetta - staff there was knowledgeable, helpful, prompt, and kind. They secured these items quickly for me and the prices were not bad either.

I went to autozone in Wakefield R.I. today the fat guy behind the counter was so unprofessional and incompetent I had to tell him 6 times what I wanted . I did not buy any parts today the guy is so rude and did not know his job. I have never had anyone so unprofessional at a parts store why he is still working there I don't know. but they have never really had anyone there that really knew how to do the job but this guy is the worst so far. I will never go back to autozone in Wakefield R.I. again. I'm giving one star because that is the lowest I can go. I SAY TO ALL HOW NEEDS AUTO PARTS GO TO NAPA THEN YOU GET THE RIGHT PART AND NOT DEAL WITH RUDE HELP ANYWHERE BUT AUTOZONE IN WAKEFIELD R.I.

John (store manager) Rana and Rob were beyond helpful! I won't shop anywhere else for my auto parts. They had a hard to find alternator over-nighted to their store from Framingham MA and were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. It's rare to find such impressive customer service nowadays, thank you!

I love this place! Not only is the selection/price better than Walmart, but the staff will go out to your car and help install what you purchased (thank you Bill P.)! Bill cheerfully got on the ground and wrestled off my old license plates and installed my new ones in a nifty, new, chrome frame. He refused a tip, and carried on a cheerful conversation the whole time. Service like this makes me come back for more and keeps my money in town. Thanks again Bill P (or was it J?), and keep up with the great attitude which the world could use a little more of right about now!

Clueless employees looked up the items I needed first to avoid the blank stares from the employee, still couldn't tell me if they had what I needed just pointed to the back of the store and ran outside for a cigarette to hide. Can't see how they stay in business the woman is the worst, clueless is being nice

I went in there today to return a set of rotors that I did not use and a $5 can of brake fluid. The woman who was there was extremely Rude, and gave me a hard time because I didn't have the cap for the brake fluid but I went in my car and it just had fallen off in the back seat. They seem to have a really bad attitude. My son was waiting in the car and heard her come out and she was helping someone else and again she was rude to that woman. I'm extremely dissatisfied at this experience.

Great customer service!! I came in with a check engine light on with zero experience about what to do. After a computer reading, the salesperson, Josh, recommended a $5 solution to my problem. It quite possibly saved me a few hundred dollars at a mechanic. I really appreciate the advice I was given and my check engine light went off within a day!

I spent 60 dollars on spark plugs i didn't end up needing. I had the list of products I bought from this location but not the actual receipt just the quantity. They would not give me my money back. It was the only place I shopped for my vehicles needs. Never again! By the way, Ben the manager wasn't wearing a mask while working and ringing out his customers!

Helpful, knowledgeable staff with clean bright store. I see some less-favorable reviews, but the store is often busy and it's not always the most exciting job. Never been anything but helpful, and never make me feel bad for free diagnostics or advice, or asking newbie questions.

Stood in line for 15 minutes to get a battery replaced and the guy working couldn’t figure out how to get the battery retainer off. Told me it wasn’t possible to replace the battery. 5 minutes later I managed to do the entire job with no problem in their parking lot. Long story short they’re good for parts but not for ANY technical service.
