I had scrap aluminum from old storm doors/windows. It was a smooth operation. Pull up, hand over the scrap to be weighed and I was paid in cash. I was even able to recycle a section of chain link fence that my city dump would not take. I highly recommend for homeowners.
I Brang 60 pounds of Cooper at 3.50 a pound and they gave me $119.00. They are thieves and roB me... Don't go here.... they should be shut down... DON'T GO HERE THEY WILL ROB YOU..
I have to admit before I came to this location to turn in some chain link fence and posting. I looked at the reviews and was initially not happy, but I went there. This past Saturday and had a great experience. So for those of you that I did post a negative review, I don't know what happened. I have been coming here for years to recycle me copper and brass. I always sort it by #1 and #2 , brass as I was handing them piles of #1 copper I missed 1 fitting ! He grabs the entire pile of #1 copper and says it's all #2 because of 1 - 1/2 copper 90 . After that I just decided not to sell them the rest of my copper. I get it needs to be sorted but that was just a scumbag move saying my pile of #1 is now #2 because of 1 90

However, it's not a great place to pick up for new drivers. Directions truck route ,
Take exit 3A to huntington Ave thn take left to cranston st. Then make the right to Potters Ave, then salem St. Make sure to come from Potters Ave because you have to back in from the street. ( Narrow streets)

Note : Be very careful coming to the site, it’s located in between residential area, very tight turns & cars parked on streets everywhere, very tough to enter building. IF YOU’RE A NEW DRIVER OR HAVEN’T BEEN TO TIGHT PLACES COMPLETELY AVOID IT, AS YOU HAVE TO BLOCK COMPLETELY ON COMING TRAFFIC TO MAKE TURNS.

Went in there with THHN COPPER. And Hare bright and they put it on scale without any separating, then the guy that didn’t speak English walked in back and got some Pennie’s and I think an olde English grote from some woman in the office. When he handed me the money o said “no way no his is a rip off” he went in back when the woman came out she said my copper was worth 1$ a pound!!! When I pointed out she might be mistaken she just Rudely dismissed me and said “bye “ repeatedly. Horrible service horrible prices. There’s a reason no walk ins go there. Let them stick to commercial recycling.
They take your copper from you without weighing it in Front if you.. and burn you on the weight and quality then come out with change like this is what it worth... go to the other recycling spot next to Savers off branch ALL IS DONE RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU... these guys are rip Guatemalan rip offs.... 4real
It could be a bit confusing if it's your first time there. But they're hours of operation are perfect. Unlike some other places that want to close so early.
