A big shout out to Christopher my tow truck driver who miraculously appeared in front of my broken down car (a freebie I’m grateful for from RI DOT) he stopped at a convenience store and ran through the pouring rain to purchase garbage bags and jumped up onto the flatbed and covered my half open windows! He stayed with me until the AAA team came. I am very impressed with his attitude and level of compassion. 5 stars all day long!
Needed an emergency tow - 35 miles. I called Colletta. The office staff was great - worked with me to see which of my possible drop off locations would be more economical and then scheduled it right away. I was able to leave and go on with my work day. Driver arrived with my car in the time frame as promised a few hours later. Thank you to Colletta!
They had a guy to my location in 10 minutes to fix something on a semi trailer.the guy got the job done for sure.i was happy and on my way across country.
Tow truck driver almost rammed me off the road. Merged into my lane super fast and didn't bother to indicate. Shouldn't be that careless when you're towing 2 cars.
Called 20 minutes before closing to remove personal items from my vehicle to only be told they were already closed when the website clearly said they had 20 minutes remaining in business hours. The manager hung up on me upon me telling them this fact and that this was ridiculous and unfair business practices. I would never recommend this tow yard, and I would never use it had I not been forced too. The manager was beyond rude and should be evaluated for a lower posting as they are clearly not fit to work in a customer service environment.

Wanted $125 for a 4 mile tow. I joined AAA for a year for $55 after that call and got the tow free the next day.

This is a super late review, but I I just love these guys SO much! About 20 years ago, my husband (then boyfriend) and I had taken a road trip and got stranded in Connecticut and had our car towed to their garage in Providence. Stayed a couple of extra days in town and remember it as such an amazing trip. We loved it and fell in love with RI forever. They repaired our car and had us back on the road in no time. Awesome people at Coletta's!
We deal with these guys weekly where I work. They have great customer service and huge resources at their facility. Lots of tow companies that are great but if you need towing and parts/services in trucking you cant go wrong here.
Coletta's has the absolute best customer service and commercial vehicle body repair experience in the Southern New England area. Big thumbs up. I highly recommend them and the service they provide.
These guys are awesome.They towed my daughter's car after an accident. I also have to say are very honest I dropped my wallet and one of the drivers gave it to the office. I called the next morning and they said they had it. Great company and people. Thank you Colettas.
I recently had my windshield wiper motor replaced here. One month later it started malfunctioning again due to a manufacturing defect. Lou replaced it with a brand new working motor for free no questions asked. Besides the inconvenience of getting the car to the dealer, it was a stress free experience. I highly recommend Coletta's.

Not only do they handle my company's tow needs when needed but the service is phenomenal as well. We do most of our vehicle service there and all of our inspections. I even had to bring my personal vehicle in for inspection & he had it done within the hour which was very helpful for me.
This place is a brand new faculty. They provide comprehensive truck and trailer repair . As well as a towing company they're about ready to open a full size truck and trailer spray painting booth .I also find the new location to be so much more convenient location than the last one.
Broke down in a company vehicle. Truck was in a lane and couldn't move. We were referred by police how this company would be right there in 15 minutes. They refused to help us no matter how much we paid because we are an hr from home. Do your self a favor and skip over this place. Bad business.

I wish I could put no stars. This towing company was extremely rude and disrespectful towards my friends and I. We went to the towing company after calling and confirming they would be there for me to get my car. There was no one there. When they finally arrived they were not nice to us at all. We checked my car and it had a few scratches on it. I'm not sure if it's from them, but when my friend asked them about it they told her they wouldn't speak to her because she was not the owner of the car and he told her to get out of his face. I also witnessed them towing another car (a brand new car) and they were very rough with it. I understand that it is there job to tow cars from businesses who hire them, but they don't need to be rude about it and they should be more considerate of other people's property. After the service I received tonight I would never in my life recommend anyone use this towing company. They are white trash.
We are a commercial repair garage and have nothing but good things to say about Coletta's . They always deliver on their promises and are fine people to deal with. Al in the office there, is a man of his word. I refer many customer's and friends to them for service.
These guys are complete liars. This place is the biggest racket I've ever seen. What a load of lying, cheating, scamming thieves! Do not let these people tow your car EVER! I hope karma gets these people the old fashioned way they are the scum of the earth! The owners are low-level Providence Mafia which are in cahoots with some crooked cops. They should be audited by the IRS and investigated for corruption.
MAYBE... maybe these guys are smart enough to change a tire or an oil filter. They did almost $4000 of damage to my car and spent a month jerking me around trying to fix the problem on the cheap. Finally I took it to a stealership where they had the problem diagnosed in less than an hour, and I had one of the mechanics call Coletta's and explain in third-grader language why my car-y no work-y good no more. Then I had to drive my limping vehicle back down to Coletta's, or as I refer to it, The Hellhole, and very delicately suggest to the owner, using baby words, that it would probably be more expensive to not pay for the repairs. Apparently he must have at least a few brain cells because in the end he did pay, but still, these people dragged me through torture for a month. Did I mention the dispatcher swore at me and called me names? I guess he was mad that he had to do 45 seconds of actual work on my behalf. Or maybe just because he has a mouthful of rotten yellow teeth. Thanks, Coletta's!
