Kevin Almeida went above and behind for me yesterday in Providence in the worst heat ever!! AAA supposedly couldnt find my granddaughter and I in the breakdown lane of 95 S!!! We waited two hours, with no ac, on the highway....until Kevin came and saved us! He was helpful, polite, friendly, and so kind! Kevin, you are amazing!!!!!!!!

Kevin, the tow truck driver, was my hero today! He was extremely pleasant and went over the top today to get my car, Sadie, and I safely off the road as I was waiting over 2 hrs for AAA...thank you again Kevin. You are phenomenal!!

Richard the owner is the best for the services provided for any car problem. From the first time which was in 2016 till today, he has provided the best and most affordable Customer service for any model of car. Also, he gives an affordable discount for the services provided. He has talented mechanics working with him. Thanks for helping with all the cars I have it.

They made our initial experience very easy with insurance, rental and repairs. Unfortunately, after waiting 2 months to get our vehicle back, the rear wiper wasn't working so we had to bring it back. Now 3 weeks later, the rear camera fell inside the tailgate so I figured out how to fix it myself so I wouldn't have to bring our vehicle back for a 2nd time. For these reasons I had to lower my initial 5 star review.

This is regarding their towing. The police called them before i could call my own towing service when I rear ended on I 95, their towing was timely however nightmare started when my car was towed to the auto body shop instead of the toll yard of the shop. The woman at the front desk yelled at me and my claim handler over the phone in extremely aggressive ways in multiple phone encounters and refused to give out paper form for me to release my totaled vehicle to my insurance. They also did not take verbal phone release and disregarded my emailed release. I gave consent to my insurance on the day of accident to proceed with total loss, but they managed to avoid cooperating with my insurance’s toll company and kept my vehicle their lot for 14 days to collect bloody storage fee. Would avoid at all cost.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE Gina was very kind and patient. But if the other woman who works there picks up the phone I recommend asking for someone else. My car was towed on Friday and due to scheduling and certain circumstances I am just now able to get everything figured out to get it out. When I called to ask questions the first woman that picked up YELLED AT ME AND HUNG UP THE PHONE because she couldn’t understand the questions I was asking. I asked to speak to a manager about her and told him about our interaction and maybe I’m assuming but it didn’t sound like he cared or would be doing anything about it. If this place tows your car I hope that you have time, patience and a calm demeanor because I was very respectful and patient with her before she completely flew off the handle for no reason. I understand that not every situation can be simple, straight forward, and easy but we are all people and you never know what someone is going through this place could learn about giving people grace and patience and treating people like they are human, not like scum.

Absolutely fantastic. I called for an appointment, they got me in the next day and did the inspection and repair I needed in under 30 minutes! The shop is clean and they have a nice waiting area, not that I was in it long! They didn't try to over charge me and I will absolutely be back! I highly recommend this auto shop!

Great people to work with. Long story short parents car got stuck in the middle of 95. AAA pr road side assistance never responded to towing it, state police were contacted and had Nicks tow it . They impounded it. Spoke to Leslie who was an amazing help getting it out of impound and towed back to the dealer. Mind you this car was 3 days old. They worked it out with the dealer to get it back to them all the way to CT while my mom and dad were at the cancer center. Great , professional people. Highly recommended

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Nick's auto body. This was my first time having to take a car in to get work done, and they made it so easy. They worked with my insurance company and turned around the car in great time. Everyone I encountered, from the owner, to the mechanics, to the woman who runs the front desk, were kind and courteous throughout the experience. I can't recommend them enough! Thanks guys for doing a wonderful job!

Easy in and out for vehicle inspection. Everyone was pleasant and friendly. Update: brake job done this week. I was kept informed throughout. These guys do good work, reasonably priced.

BAD EXPERIENCE!!! Met with an accident and since I didn't know any shop, the towing guy suggested me and took me to this shop. Then after a month they called me and I picked up the car, they changed a lot of items including the ac compressor. The ac air was cold but not how it's supposed to be, but I had to move out of the state in the next few days, so couldn't actually get it tested. And them came the peak summer and the ac struggles to cool the car, it only works if I maintain a certain speed. Got it checked and the refrigerant was overfilled and also compressor has to be replaced. The little screen inside is also not visible in sunlight. They charged the insurance company around $7500 and all I got is a bad service and now I have to pay $1500 for the repairs.

Owner was very kind when I went to pick up my car. The work done was great and my car looked good as new. I was told to call back if there were any issues. My “hood ajar” light was on and my automatic car starter stopped working. I called to see if they could check this out as both of these were not issues prior to dropping my car off. The woman that answered was unhelpful, rude, and had a terrible attitude. I have been without a car for 2 weeks and she expected me to bring it by on a work day prior to 3:00PM for them to simply take a look at it but not work on it. The mechanics here are great, but whoever is answering the phone needs a serious talking to and a few courses in how to be polite to your customers over the phone. I (and many others according to reviews) will no longer be bringing my car here to be worked on as I was turned away by her fowl attitude.

Two vastly different experiences here, hence the 3 stars. First experience was after my wife was rear ended on I-95 with significant damage to her vehicle. The state trooper recommended Nick’s so that’s where we had it towed. They were extremely friendly and did amazing work on my wife’s car. It looks brand new and they did a great job. A few weeks after getting her car back I got rear ended and needed work done on my car. Nick’s wasn’t a preferred body shop for my insurance company (faster payment for the shop and easier communication), but I was free to use whoever I wanted so I called Nick’s. I explained I was in an accident and even though Nick’s wasn’t a preferred body shop by my insurance company I wanted to get a time frame for getting it repaired (parts are hard to get and repairs can take a while causing a back log) because they did such a phenomenal job on my wife’s car. The woman who answered the phone started yelling at me that it was illegal for my insurance company to tell me who to use (they didn’t) and they were committing a crime by telling me that and were breaking the law (they weren’t). I again told her my insurance told me I was free to use whoever I wanted, but that Nick’s wasn’t a “preferred” body shop which just meant faster payments and easier communication, but I was interested in using them anyway because of how well they did on my wife’s car. The woman then told me she didn’t even have a time frame and hung up on me. Needless to say I took my business elsewhere. First interaction was 5 stars. Second interaction was 1 star. They do great work on your vehicle, but apparently you get vastly different levels of politeness and courtesy depending on who you talk to on the phone.

Be careful using this company. AAA towed the car here, but we found out later they weren't on our insurance's preferred autobody shop list. So we called to get the car towed to another autobody shop that was on the preferred list. Well, Nick's did not like that and made it next to impossible to get our car out of their lot. Tow truck company came to bring car to other autobody shop, and Nick's wouldn't let the car go. I called Nick's and an awfully rude woman said we didn't pay the storage fee so they wouldn't release the car to the tow truck driver. She said, "let the insurance company pay the storage fee!" then hung up on me. WOW!! Nick's never said anything about a storage fee. I had to leave work to pay the $240 storage fee and drive it one block so that I could have AAA tow it to the other autobody shop. STAY AWAY FROM NICK's

My car was in an accident on the highway and I had no choice to use this place as my car was towed to their lot. To get my car back- was challenging- on the phone they originally were willing to let me have it released to my collision place (obviously not theirs) if I emailed them a photo ID- but I heard a person in the background tell the girl on the phone to make me come down with my ID because I won't be using them. I needed to grab some things from my car- it was at their 2nd location when we got there, it was clear where to go.. My father pulled over to the curb and wasn't blocking anything as we tried to determine where I was supposed to go. The building was sandwiched between two gated parking lots, and all the girl told me was "see the guy inside the gate". There was zero visible signage. As we were trying to figure this out- a Nick's Towing truck pulled up behind us and started blowing his horn at us obnoxiously and gesturing at us to move out of his way. It was unclear why. At that point, my father got out of the car to ask where we should go to get my car- and instead this driver jumped out of his truck and aggressively was screaming at my father. I was very worried that this man was going to hit my dad he was so aggressive. My dad was hard of hearing and just wanted to know where we should go. The driver was not wearing a mask. Instead of listening to my dad he jumps back in his truck, backs up fast and flies around my dad down the road at close to 30 mph practically hitting my father who was standing in the street. Because he was furious that my dad didn't move his truck that moment. I got out of the truck and walked up to the building and tried the door which was locked, walked around to the lot where the man was- who was still not wearing a mask and now was joined with 2 other men none wearing masks(again my dad is in a high risk category). I tried to kindly explain that we were just trying to find out where we needed to go to get to my car. The same tow truck driver then yells at me "I know. I know exactly what he wanted but because he refused to move his truck for me you are going to wait as long as I need you to". He was angry and aggressive towards me as well which was completely uncalled for. All because my dad wanted to ask a question. He left me standing there, while they handled some other business. I was there for about 10 minutes just wondering how long he'd make me wait and if I'd even have access to my car that day. I walked over to my dad and even said- let's just go, he's going to make me wait as long as he feels like it, I'll clean my car later. After about that 10 minute wait he then waives me over (all 3 men still with no mask) and tells me my keys are in my car. The original location must have radioed him about our arrival. My lights were left on in my car who knows if my brand new battery that I JUST bought a month ago was getting drained, I turned them off, cleaned out what little I felt comfortable quickly. We then left. I was so worried for my father. This entire encounter from having to go down and present my ID to make my life more difficult, to being aggressive just because we had a question and the driver didn't like were we parked. Was SO exhausting, overwhelming and even scary. I was going to call the owner about the driver but read on google that other people have called about the drivers before and the owner doesn't care. So Here's my nice long review about how disgusting my interaction was with this place. If I could give it zero stars I would. The ONLY reason my car was there was because it was towed there after a car accident. I also will be notifying the state police because They are the ones who used this service. Update: Nicks first told me my car was in "good shape/Drivable", but wouldn't tell me if they fully checked it out. AFTER my Collision place checked it out- it's deemed NOT drivable. --The entire rare under panel is fully dented in and could've caused an accident if driven! Thanks Nicks...

I unfortunately blew out my tire today but luckily I was one block away from the guys at Nicks Auto Body. I had never been there before so I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was desperate and needed assistance immediately. When I tell you that these guys are the greatest I truly mean it. I pulled my car up and walked in the door, I was immediately greeted by the nicest man, I showed him the damage to my tire and asked if it was drivable. It was not at all. My dealership covers my tires so I needed to get my vehicle half an hour away to fix it. These guys were so helpful. They not only changed my tire for me for no charge just to help me commute safely, they also assisted me in calling around to get the best price for my tire replacement. They were so helpful and they were so caring, they did not need to do for me what they did. I have never experienced such great customer service and human decency. They were knowledgeable and kind. I am so blessed to have had this experience today. They treated me with such care and regard. Thank you so much to all the wonderful men at Nicks Auto Body. Any services I need in the future outside of what my dealership provides I will absolutely go back to Nicks and nowhere else. I wish I could do more than just write a review. Thank you again Nicks, god bless you all for keeping me safe and lending me a hand. I am truly touched and beyond grateful. Trust me, don’t ever go anywhere else, I won’t that’s for sure!!

So I got into an accident on December 6th 2019. State police had Nick's towing get the vehicle. After speaking with the towing staff about Nick's I figured I would let them repair my vehicle. Fast forward to december 16th and my insurance finally got out to do the estimate. Well I got my car back January 31st. In between I called once a week to just get an update. Every time I would get the same response from Billy, I'll call you back shortly, well almost every time with maybe 2 exceptions I would end up calling back the next day because i never would get a call back. I pick up the vehicle and They cleaned the vehicle when they were done or so they said. Coffee all over the interior, grease all over the rims, scratches all over the vehicle. The windows didnt work and the assembly that's in the driver's door wasnt secure. The grill was wrong, i was told the one that was in there isnt available, but after talking to adjuster he found it within a few seconds online. The boss replied when I mentioned everything, I'm paraphrasing but it included "I should have totalled this f***ing vehicle" I said you said you could fix it, took the job, it's on you to fix it and fix it right. So I mentioned I was going to give a bad review and all of a sudden I'm getting called by Nick's offering to make things right and given a loaner car. Funny I wasnt offered a car the rest of the time they had my car. In summary Very bad communication/Lack of customer service No pride in work No attention to detail Edit, thought I had hit post but I guess I never did, hence the delay between post and occurence

I can not say enough great things about this shop. As a young women who is new to the area getting my car hit in the parking lot pretty much sent me into a panic. I knew the Insurance company was cheating me, but how would I find a mechanic who would believe me over a big insurance company? That's when I found Nick's. From the second I walked in the door I felt comfortable and at ease. I got calls throughout the whole process keeping me updated, with a couple jokes sprinkled in to keep me laughing along the way too. At the end of the process I left the shop smiling ear to ear with my car on and the heat started. The entire process from start to finish was easy, and dare I say...fun? If you have ANY issues with your car please I beg of you, go to Nick's. You will leave with a smile and a perfect car!

Been going here for a few years. Always great service, total transparency about prices and time-frames. I have always felt very confident that my car is in good hands. They have also never tried to upsell me or recommend services that I didn't need. they just get the job done. Billy works at the front desk and is THE BEST.

I got into an accident and needed to be towed. Start to finish Nick's has been a blessing. From the tow truck driver to the woman who answers the phone, everyone that I encountered was accommodating and beyond nice. My car was repaired and came back sparkling. I would honestly recommend Nick's to anyone with any auto body needs! They are professional and courteous. They now have a life long customer in me.

I would give them more than a 5 star rating if possible. I meant to write this review a few weeks ago after my car was in an accident. AAA recommended I had my car brought there and the minute I walked in I felt taken care of. They are personable, hard workers and took the time to go through everything with me in such a positive manner. When they fixed my car it looked like it was off the showroom floor, in fact I walk right past it at first because it looks amazing and did not think after the crash it would be that wonderful. They treated me with respect, paid attention to detail and even when I picked up my car (which they cleaned and detailed as well) a bird left a very small present on the bumper which I did not notice but they did the minute they walked me to the car. They immediately cleaned it, they wanted to be 150% certain that when I left I was a satisfied customer and I am. You can tell they take pride in what they do, they have the best customer service and I will never go anywhere again. Thank you guys!

Love that they’ve been around forever and still have the customer service to match. Helped me out with a loaner car during my repair, Billy at the front desk was super nice and communicative. So easy and integrated with my Geico auto insurance, which I never expected to say about car insurance. I was prepared to hate the whole process of getting my car repaired but they turned it around for me big time. Highly recommend

I recently took my Prius to Nick’s after a hit and run demolished my front bumper, lights, etc. Despite the stressful situation, the team was incredibly professional, genuine, and helpful in guiding me through each step of the process. They turned my car around super quickly and it looks better than it did before the accident! Highly recommend!!

Got rear ended on the mass pike a few weeks ago. Met my insurance adjuster at Nick's. Richard was kind enough to walk with us and ensure that everything was noted properly. I decided to let Nick's handle the repair and the process could not have been more seamless. Brian in the office is incredibly professional, kind and thorough, making sure that all of my questions were answered and my concerns were addressed. The folks working on the vehicles are also incredibly nice. Richard was outstanding and was able to turn my car around in less than 24 hours (they ordered and sprayed the parts ahead of time) when other two other shops said they'd need the car for 5-7 days. Onto the work. I drive a 2016 Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid and its no exaggeration that my car looks better than it did before the accident, which is actually something Richard promised me his team would do. It looks absolutely flawless and I couldn't be happier with the result. If you find yourself in need of a body shop that does incredible work, then I urge you to please stop by Nick's and ask for Brian or Richard.

This place is the best. I've been bringing a couple different cars here for about a decade. Billy at the front desk is kind and courteous, yet direct and straightforward. Gary the head mechanic is knowledgeable and skilled, and just a really great guy. He goes out of his way to make sure I get a good deal and feel like I'm taken care of along the way. It's a family owned place. Richard has created a culture of quality work and integrity.

Nick's was amazing!! I rear-ended someone and severely damaged my vehicle. When it left here after repairs were completed it looked better than before the accident. They went above and beyond, even fixing a couple things that were not related to the accident at no charge. Also, Billy's service at the front desk is second to none. He was proactive about getting in touch with me, and knew my car and case immediately each time I called.

Great place with great service. I was stuck here from out of town with a dead vehicle, thinking it was the starter, because we tried to jump it and it wouldn’t work. I showed up before they opened, and they had a packed house already for the day. But they still got my vehicle in, diagnosed the problem, and solved the issue, basically before the day started. It turned out it was only the battery, so it was much cheaper fix them it might have been. Awesome customer service!

I had a great experience at Nick's Auto today. My car broke down just up the street from Nick's. The auto tech Gary diagnosed the issue with the computer in about 5 minutes, gave me an on the spot estimate and had the car repaired in a few hours. Kudos to Gary and Nick's for an honest job well done. I'll be back if I ever need further repairs and would highly recommend to anyone needing work done on their car.
