First time scrapping metal and had a great experience. Steve took the time to lead me through the process even though they were super busy. I expected to get some 'go away old lady' looks but everyone was really nice. Prices were fair. They didn't downgrade anything.
David Sanford, the gentleman that works here, is beyond helpful. I'm a girl I don't like to get dirty. He was a gentleman and came over to my car and helped me carry over everything I had. He made small talk during the process of weighing in the metal. He made eye contact and made you feel like a human and not just another customer. Great great man and I will be back to do more business!!
This was overall a really good experience. First time I've taken scrap to a metal recycling service. The workers were very helpful letting you know what was worth money and what was not. I felt like they were very fair and the pricing for each type of metal!

Great place to bring scrap, scales are accurate, not calibrated in the owners favor. There are three piles in the back of the yard: prepared #1 steel, unprepared #1 (any uncut big pieces over 5'), and a giant heap of #2 steel (appliances, any thin metal under 3/16" thick) Small amounts or other metals can be weighed on the smaller scale inside.
Good place for recycling your metals. You never make a lot of money turning miscellaneous auto parts, etc, but it's better than just throwing them out. Make sure you weigh your vehicle both before and AFTER you drop off a load or you'll have to wait in line longer to get your voucher.
