I had a good concept of this place, friendly and hardworking people who did not discriminate now, the last 2 opportunities that I have tried to communicate with them, since I do not speak English, they call me ... it is sad because even when I do not speak English, my money is also worth the same as the others.
I just wanted to say Brian was very kind when I took my car in to be looked at. They took it right in while I waited informed me what was wrong ordered the part and had it done in no time. The other mechanic looked at my wheel brought it out showed me and explained everything that needed fixed. I’m glad I was referred to them. Definitely will be using them again!
I enjoy going to these guys and telling others to go here as well they all work long and hard to keep their bays constantly moving vehicles fast easy to deal with no run arounds a lot of time availability to just walk in and get something done out of the blue I will without a doubt continue driving to them for all the vehicle stuff I’m not capable of doing myself!! 🙂
The people are awesome. IHad an issue with my truck . They came to my place and towed my vehicle straight totter shop the same day. And checked out my truck and let me know what I was wrong. Waved my bill that day , which was awesome! They make sure everything is tip top notch 👌 with my vehicle. Also awesome mechanics they do awesome work At this garage.
I’m sharing this experience so others can make informed decisions.
On 10/6, I spoke with Brian and asked if there were any vehicles available that weren’t listed online. He mentioned a Subaru that would be available Thursday or Friday. I confirmed I’d come in Thursday.
On 10/8, I called to let him know I couldn’t make it Thursday due to an unexpected emergency. I asked if Friday would be ok instead. He said yes. I also mentioned I’d like to take the car to my mechanic. That part received no response.
On 10/9, I drove out, only for Brian to be told the car was sold the day before. No call, no heads up, despite our communication and my confirmed visit.
It’s hard not to notice that the silence came after I mentioned taking it to my mechanic. I’m not making assumptions but the timing speaks for itself.
If transparency and basic courtesy matter to you, take this into account.

Just to clarify: at no point during our calls was a deposit mentioned or required. I was told the car would be available Thursday or Friday. I confirmed I’d come Friday. I also mentioned I’d like to bring it to my mechanic. Nothing was actually said to that, that’s where the communication ended.
It’s surprising to hear now that a deposit was expected for a car I hadn’t even seen. That wasn’t communicated or brought up. However, since it was planned and communicated that I was coming out, I actually brought the full cash with me to purchase it that day instead of just a deposit.
It would have been nice knowing it was sold before making the trip. Apparently you have to put a deposit down on a car over the phone without seeing it, just to be sure it will be available once you arrive.
I still stand by my review. If basic business practices matter to you in buying a car look elsewhere.
This is more of a mechanic garage than an auto dealership. They gave me an incredible deal on the vehicle I bought, and are now my perfered mechanic. The purchase was quick and efficient, I brought my own financing and they were very responsive in facilitating and providing documentation that my bank needed. One if the easiest car buying experiences of my life.
I trust Marsh with all my mechanical needs. They always answer the phone and their pricing is solid. When a manufacturers part failed they towed me to their shop and resolved it for free. If all trades people operated like marsh the world would be in a much better place!
3k and 2 whole years im still waiting on my car. I hear a lot of excuses and still no car half the employees don't even know its even there when I call and management is like talking to the irs im not taking anything there after this. Now after 2 years they tell me I need a new motor and they won't warranty it. Why they couldn't call me and tell me instead of just letting my car sit there I don't know. I'm not broke. I'll be driving this car in a few weeks. What I won't be doing is bussiness with these creeps again. I like how they just took the $ and said they would get around to it when it wasn't right from the start. Every time I picked up my car it had a problem and this place tried to act like It was me messing up my car. Car wasn't right from day 1. Took it to Ritenours. The second motor had a loose cam tensioner wich starved it of oil. Had to pay 2k to fix it.car had no oil pressure (7lbs).Not an electrical issue. Manager tried telling me old motors do that.
I've been going to this place for over 17 years. The owner is a fair and honest man. The guys in the shop are hard working, honest, and respectful towards the customers. The prices for the services are very fair and they aren't out to rip anyone off. I highly recommend to anyone to give them a try and maybe you will be a return customer as well. Great job, guys!!! Usually when you go to a mechanic you're either screwed and overpriced or just bad service. Marsh auto was NOT that at all. Whole crew are nothing but polite, they didn't try telling me I needed things I did not need, in fact they helped me find what I did need for the cheapest price. Forgot the guys name but it's the guy with the beard. Super cool guy knows his stuff and went out of his way to find me someone to do work I need for the lowest price I've heard yet. If you need a mechanic please don't waste your time anywhere you're going to get screwed. Go to Marsh! Trust me you won't be disappointed!!!
It's been a while since I had work done on my car through these guys. And kept forgetting to post a review. But the first time I stopped by was to have an aftermarket exhaust system installed. Was told it would take about 2 hours to get done. And it was pretty much that time frame from when they started taking off the factory one to when they fired up the car with the new one on. Haven't heard or seen any issues with it since they put it on for me a few months ago. Second visit was during the giant stretch of the heatwave we had when my AC compressor died on me. Dealership wanted almost 1500 for part, install and recharge. Part alone they wanted almost 800 for. Got it from advanced auto for a 1/3 the price and these guys quoted me 300 for installation and recharge. AC has been kicking strong since.
I will strongly suggest these guys any time after the work that they have done. But keep in mind that if you bring in parts that are used, you are the one taking the risk of it not working or failing at some point down the road. So don't go trying to pin the blame on them when you went the cheap route.
Will never take a vehicle here again and hope that nobody else will take theirs here either. Paid for work to be done and have a new transmission put in from jasper and recieved a transmission filled with water from the junk yard. Save your time and money and take it to any of the better shops in westmoreland county. Contract was voided by owner and co owner
Probably the 1st time I have ever taken a recommendation on where to have a vehicle repaired. My brother in law made the very strong recommendation I take my RAV4 to Marsh Automotive in Ruffs Dale, Pa to have a leaking and noisy differential repaired or replaced. As it turned out, it did need replaced due to internal wear and damage. The estimate was clear, precise, and fell well within my price expectations. Brian and Matt made all the scheduling arrangements, and had the repair completed as scheduled the next day! I was without the vehicle less than one work day. It isn't often I leave a repair this satisfied and confident it was fixed!

Completely honest and explained everything, listened to all my ridiculous questions and concerns, guided me through everything. Will be going here for all of our automotive needs from now on.
Had My 1993 F150 worked on here at Marsh.
I had a head gasket starting to seep into the cylinder.
They pulled the Engine. Checked the main and Rod Bearings.
Installed a New oil pump.
New rear main seal
New timing chain and gear set .
Steering column, exhaust, fuel tank, windshield, and new Drive shaft universal joints,
And a center link They did a phenomenal Job and all the work was done Right 🤗I'm a very happy customer, and will make the drive to Marsh from Pittsburgh. For the rest of my Days.Ican not stress how knowledgeable and How good all the work on my Truck was done.I was very impressed. You don't find Honest shops to often now a days like this and the price for all this work was very fair
I always come to Marshs when I need something repaired on my vehicle.(going for 3 years now) They have always worked with me and were honest with me and as a single mom, that means a lot! They don’t bs you. Their prices are extremely fair! They’re just genuinely good and down to earth people. I always recommend this place to anyone!
We purchased a low mile used R titled 2015 Suburu Impreza from them recently for a great price. We saw the vehicle before they fixed it up and they do incredible work. The car now looks, drives and feels like a new car. Brian took care of any concerns we had and touched up some minor scratches that were on the bumper. I would highly recommend this place.

Amazing! - Called to see if they could get a specific tire in for me and they had it there within 24 hours. While changing my tire, the gentleman offered to show me how to get out and put back my spare tire because I was clueless of how to access it in my newer vehicle. It was so nice of him to take the time to show me how to do things. I will be back!

Very great to use their services. Had my vehicle inspected and they were very good at it. Have to give them 5 stars for the great employees they have and like I said the service they provide. Plan on going to them if I need anything else done to my vehicles.
Update. I've been going to Marsh for ten years. They've never let me down once. I recently bought a used Subaru Forester and the head gaskets went out and it came with a generic warranty. The warranty company is terrible and covers nothing ever. Brian assisted me and got half of it covered. Marsh team goes up and beyond again. Thanks guys!!
Affordable, Honest, and they listen. My mom's van had a flashing check engine light. They fix it along with putting brakes all the way around it. A 17 yr old van with 167,000 miles runs like new again. Great group of guys.
Replaced the motor in our 2013 Chevrolet Impala. We were told that the motor in this year of Impala's go bad!!! Go figure! You would think that a newer car would hold up because Impala's will run forever.! Not ours. Very big repair and cost was very reasonable compared with order garages. They did the job in a reasonable time and my boyfriend said they did a phenomenal job of the repair work. They also do other kinds of things when vehicles need repairs I'm told. They are a little bit out of the way but worth the effort. Would definitely recommend this place for your car and truck repair service...update!!### please disregard my review....lously service...had to return to 3 times to GET IT RIGHT!!!! NOT THOROUGHLY REPAIRED... NEVER TAKE ANY VEHICLE THERE AGAIN FOR SERVICE-!!!!

These guys have always been fair and honest with us! The shop may not be much to look at but the friendly demeanor and easy-going attitude more than make up for that. Fair pricing and honesty are the hallmarks of our experiences here.
Helpful, fast, straight forward pricing. My favorite thing is that there is never a need for appointment. They do the work and send you on your way: So you don't have to call ahead to find an available date- they've done all my work same day, and I appreciate that by comparison.
