One of the absolute best experiences at a auto service shop. We needed an emergency tire replacement during a road trip and they were able to quickly get us in and out in no time. I highly recommend this family-run establishment.
Type of mechanic where it’s cheap but you have to be careful. Asked to just change and replace my camshaft actuator, both intake and exhaust and was agreed and confirmed on the work to be done a week prior to the appointment.
End up clarifying just incase that it’s NOT the VVT sensor and even showed evidence of previous work showing it was already replaced just incase. This was just a job to replace the actuators and nothing more.
Come day of the job and the invoice shows that the sensors were the ones replaced not the actuators. They initially tried to sell me off as they were replaced it’s just what we bill it under. I ended up talking to the mechanic and he confirmed that he only replaced the sensors which I did not need done because I know it wouldn’t have fixed the issue I was having.
He then said he doesn’t want to work on my car because it’s a german vehicle and it has too many issues and he’s swamped with work.
All i asked was to replace these two parts and nothing more. If anything more was asked it was up to him to take it up or not which was completely fine if not. Instead he replaced the parts that took the least amount of time in order to catch up on work. If you decided to take more work than you can handle and undercharge it’s your issue. Either Charge more or take less work.
I didn’t go to the mechanic and have work agreed upon a week prior just for it to be rushed through and not done because you were behind on work. If you come here to get work done don’t think because it’s scheduled a week or two away that it will be done properly and timely, if anything it will get rushed through depending on how behind the mechanic is. Just be very careful.
It’s like going in to get your tires changed and you find out the tires weren’t changed and instead you got new brake pads and being told the invoice charge for the brake pad is what they just call tires.
And he states he did the VVT solenoid change because that’s what the code calls for. Which i said I don’t want a diagnostic fee charged because I’m not here to fix the code, just replace these parts. Hence why no fee was charged yet instead he went ahead and scanned the car to fix the code. Leading to him changing the VVT sensor leading to no code being fixed, unnecessary replacement I already had done, and disregard for just me asking to replace the camshaft actuators and nothing more.
Great place! A family run business that is very knowledgeable and they are straightforward with you when a vehicle needs something. My wife and I have been going there for years!
As I’m making my way back from New England on my way to Virginia, I get the light on in my car telling me that I have low tire pressure. I stopped to put air in and found a piece of metal in my tire. Their service station was the closest to the gas station I had stopped at. Wonderful, wonderful experience!!! Very friendly, family owned station got me in right away. Patched my tire and did not take advantage of me. Very reasonably priced…. cannot say enough good things about them. You never want to have these experiences but when you do have them and You end up with a pleasurable experience you realize life is not so bad. Thanks again Folks for the wonderful Service.
Pretty much the best place in Bethel and the surrounding area to get your car serviced, inspected, or repaired! Also, the fastest! And that at a good price!
We got a flat tire on 78 and had to be towed to this shop. They quickly got us a new tire and we were back on the road shortly. Everyone at the office/shop was friendly and kind.

Great knowledgeable mechanics. Fix what needs to be fixed or something that could need to be replaced in less than a year for inspection. They don't just throw parts on a vehicle like other places do. Prices are great and service is top notch. 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

These folks are fantastic. Family owned and operated shop where everyone is really nice. I’m not from the area, but got a bad tire leak in my company vehicle near their shop. They managed to get the tire ordered and installed with 0 notice in a few hours, most of which was waiting on the tire delivery. Felt like family by the time I left the shop. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you guys from me and The Gutter Guys!
Took my vehicle in to get a problem fixed. That didn't happen what did happen was I got a car in worse condition than what I took it in. I will never go to this place again.
Family owned shop, friendly, knowledgeable and very fair price. We needed 2 tires for our RV, they got them by the same afternoon and installed them at our convenience. Highly recommend this shop.
