DO NOT COME HERE if you want your car serviced correctly. I've been back twice for an alignment just to be told my 2020 highlander had rusty bolts that needed to be replaced. $330 to replace bolts that were not rusty or seized. I took it to another shop who said the bolts are fine and got a good alignment in 10 minutes. The mechanics are inexperienced scam artists! Will be reporting to the attorney general. None of their techs should even have an ASE License. Scammers!!!
I had a great experience at Firestone in Pottstown! I was having my seasonal tires swapped with my snow tires (which I already have on separate rims). I had my snow tires labeled as to what side I preferred them to go (which I have done for the last 15 years) and I NOW learned that my snow tires are directional tires, meaning they cannot be placed anywhere, like I had instructed. The manager caught my error and taught me about directional tires! I now understand why, in previous winters, I was hearing excessive noise and reduced traction, due to my own mistake of misplacing the tires (as this is a job I have done myself in past years)
Also, I was told I needed to have a bracket welded to pass inspection later this year! This is not a job Firestone does, but they informed me and I now have an appointment scheduled to get this taken care of immediately!

Came in for an inspection and the mechanic let me know that I was missing a special lug key that was needed if I ever got a flat tire - I just bought the car a year ago and was never told by the dealer that I needed this important piece. Kudos to Firestone in Pottstown for taking excellent care of their customers - would recommend them!

Finally a shop that helps. I went to 3 other shops and they had zero information and just stared at me. One said “you do your own research” Chas was super helpful and did not upsell me. He gave me clear direction and he had a good handle on the products. They just did honest work and were super helpful
Jimmy helped me when I first came in, he was super helpful and kind!!! DJ was the one to work on my car and was super quick and let me know everything that was needed for my car. 10/10 recommend, they were AMAZING!!!!!
The problem ii brought my car in for was never diagnosed. They said it was fine. Spent the whole time doing some overall inspection on stuff i nevervsaud tonlook at and recommending $5000 in work. Example Telling me brakes were bad when they were only 3 months old. After long discussion on phone and in person about problem. They said oh van started its fine. Never looked into the problem. Talking to guy on phone. All he said 6 times was sorry I dont know what he did. Im just the middle man

James is fabulous, very nice and answers questions. All around helpful. All the workers were husseling I always goes to get inspection & oil changes & maintenance done. Good place to go. They are very busy so make an appointment they get you in quick!
Frost was amazing, really kind constantly checked up on me. Made sure I was OK throughout the whole process of my car being maintenance. The whole process was really quick and simple, and I was in and out in a good amount of time. Definitely would recommend and will be coming back again.

My Honda wouldn’t start on a Friday night, I had no idea what was wrong and was panicked that I had to be at work an hour away the following evening. Even though it was during Firestone’s very busy Epic sales event week, they still were able to get it in early the next morning. They immediately figured out I needed a new starter, ordered it, and within just a couple hours my car was running better than ever! I was expecting them to not have room to fit me in and would have understood why, knowing they get very booked up during Epic, but they still were able to help fast and saved me from great inconvenience!!! Every worker was super nice and they were able to get my car 2 new tires very quickly! They also approved my appointment last minute and were still able to do the service unlike another auto shop I made an appointment with. All around very satisfied.

My van hit a pothole and had a bad bubble in the tire that led us to have it changed at this Firestone location. It was an emergency, they were almost closed but, they help us like we were family. It's hanrd to describe how nice they were and how they worked with us. I highly recommend this location for all your needs. Perfect outcome within an emergency. Love these guys.

Man I’ll tell you what! Time after time I give this shop a chance and they mess it up!!!
(Cons) Paid $10 for them to “look” around the truck and top off fluids WAS NOT DONE windshield wiper fluid is the same level as I took it in.
Paid for a wheel alignment! Drove down the street had to hold wheel to the right so I would go straight! When I took it in the alignment was perfect.
Paid $120 for an oil change! I better go check the dipstick to see if it was actually done!
OH! And on top of all this I waited 3 1/2 hours for the truck to be “finished”
I was offered to bring the truck back in for the alignment and fluids to be topped off! I Shouldn’t have to take it back after a 3 1/2 hour wait.
(Pros) Paid $1278 on tires they look good! Asked them to look at my brakes and rotors (free coupon). They were very honest and said I did not need them on the front or rear!

i had a problem with my cadillac SRX . the rear door hatch would open but would not close with any of the remotes or buttons on the door and inside the car. i was told they would do a diagnostic on the car to determine the problem. they told me the problem was the sensors both needed to be replaced . the cost was almost $800. i left and took the car somewhere else. they told me it was just a loose connection. they fixed it and they did not even charge me it works perfect. now this tells me one of two things. 1. the technician is completely incompetent. or 2. he created a cost of $800 that was not necessary. and i paid $116 for this . i dont like being ripped off. and this is a perfect example. would you trust anyone in the future if this circumstance happened to you . i am sure you would be running the other way. there credibility is below zero . buyer beware

He’s always courteous, professional, and genuinely customer-service oriented. Over the years, DJ has handled all my vehicles’ maintenance, repairs, and tire needs with the same consistent attention to detail and friendly attitude.

Having just bought my very first car, I was in need of a reliable mechanic and service station for my very first inspection. My dad was one of the most honest Master mechanics I have ever known & when he passed away, I did not currently own a car. My dad always wanted me to have a mini cooper & although I did try and buy a mini cooper, the check engine light went on after 100 miles which necessitated the need to trade that in for my 2015 Nissan Rogue. My Rogue had less than 50,000 miles on it and was well maintained and serviced every 5,000 miles by the original owner. I was nervous about my car's very first inspection. I was nervous about finding a reliable, good, and honest mechanic. Shoot, I was nervous just owning my very own car!!! So, I scheduled my inspection through Firestone pottstown's website and found it easy to navigate. My appointment was scheduled for 7:00 a.m. and the doors were opened and a mechanic helped me immediately. My inspection had a small glitch in that they had to remove a panel off the back to grab a stripped screw to get the license plate on in order to pass. The whole thing took less than 2 hrs! After my inspection, my mechanic informed me that my car needed a coolant flush, engine filter, and cabin air filter. I scheduled for that service today and added an oil change with oil filter and tire rotation. I dropped my car off at 8:00 a.m. for my appointment and my car was ready for me 3 hours before my designated request time of 3:00 pm. Although I originally thought I would be spending about $120 more for my requested services, it turned out not to cost as much as what they originally quoted as an estimate and I was extremely happy about that. I did not have to remove the expensive instruments for my mobile business from the back of my vehicle & I was grateful about that as well. When I walked back to pick up my vehicle, it no longer had the weird smell in it thanks to the new cabin air filter! As this is my first car & I am not at all mechanically savvy, I appreciate the expertise and honesty of automotive professionals who are capable and technically excellent at their chosen craft, who provide services in a kind and courteous manner, and who do not make me feel uncomfortable with my lack of knowledge or suspicious I may be taken for a *ride*. The manager advised me as to the proper oil my car needs for maintenance, so I can start checking the oil on my own now! Considering I live & work locally, I do my best to patronize local establishments and businesses that provide quality goods or services. I would definitely recommend the friendly and courteous services and mechanical expertise of the folks on High Street @ Firestone Pottstown!
I called to schedule an appointment for oil and filter change as soon as my car gave me an alert and I called Brian @ Pottstown Firestone and he said bring her right over! I waited only about an hour for a good comprehensive check and fluid fill with my oil change. Super pleased to be seen so swiftly! They also reset my clock for EDT!
