This is a very well run yard. Clean, don’t have to worry about getting a nail in your tire, the guys help unload and explain how to sort your scrap better so you can get more bang for your buck. I would trust these people watching my dog. And don’t skip the coffee bar right in the middle of the parking lot. Only scrapyard I’ll go to.

Everyday this place opens late. My 98 year old grandmother moves faster than every employee there. The doors at the gate and on the scale takes 15 minutes to open because they are broke. The atms are always broke or out of money. I realize this place isn't saving the world but cmon...

Sullivan's Scrap Metals is now at the top of my list of scrap yards/recycling centers to take steel, aluminum or other scrap metal for disposal. They also pay for your old appliances, such as washers or dryers, hot water heaters, even cast iron stoves! (Though, not as much of a return as the clean metals, obviously!) Whether you are a contractor, building manager, or home owner, if you need to dispose of anything metal, Sullivan's is the ideal place to take your scrap metals.

Great place to deal with if you want to get rid of metal, aluminum, copper etc. and make money. Great people there to help.

I brought in a 280 Lb compressor and was told to dump it in the back corner of the yard. When handed my ticket I saw I was paid 7 cents a lb for HMS #2, and when I asked why I wasn’t paid compressor/motor rate I was told that the compressor was too big and had to be coded as HMS. Alright, if that’s the rule I understand- but why would you not inform me before hand? By the time I found out i was being screwed the ticket had been made and I had to accept it. Edit: They worked with me to resolve this issue, which I do appreciate. Changed my rating to reflect this.

Went here with my dad for year now. Very helpful staff. Easy process. Fantastic cafe in the middle of it now to stop in after scrapping.

I’ve been bringing my scrap here for a while and never had an issue. They know their stuff and follow standard grading, just like any legit scrap yard would. As for prices, scrap fluctuates based on the market, so blaming them for that doesn’t really make sense. I’ve always found them fair and upfront. If you want a place that’s honest and runs things the right way, they’re still a solid choice.

They don’t know what they are buying and prices suck. Constant arguments over bare bright, one time they wouldn’t buy #4 solid copper as bb but came out with a piece of #8 thhn stranded wire and tried to teach me what bare bright is. I will now bring the 30k plus a years worth of scrap to their competitors. Do yourself a favor and bring your business elsewhere

Did a drop off today, got my payment receipt (over $100.00) and went to their (ATM)machine to get paid. The machine only pays in TWO DOLLAR BILLS. Why does this business insist on paying their customers in TWO DOLLAR BILLS? That's not even the best part. Once I got home I counted the stack of TWO DOLLAR BILLS and i was shorted. So i immediately called the company and was coldly told the machine only pays out $80.00 at a time. I asked if there was a sign that says that ? The response was you should of counted your money. She is not wrong but, who wants to stand there and count out 40-TWO DOLLAR BILLS? She then told me if I want my money i have only 24- hours. I would have to return to their site to rescan my receipt to get the balance of the cash owed to me in TWO DOLLAR BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!

Not my first time taking scrap but my first time at Sullivan’s; as soon as we pulled in someone came out to ask if we needed a hand. Very nice staff, very quick and easy interaction and good prices. Will definitely come back in the future

After waiting 15 mins in line I turn in and I get told that I have to get in the back of the line and come in from the other direction. There are no sign, cones or anything stating that, and it wasn't like I cut out a huge line or anything. If anything there were more cars on the side that I came from when I pulled up.

Hi there, I’ve been a customer for a few years now and the lady working on the scales always but always…thinks of something to say about what I bring in. I never have problems with anybody else but when she is there, something is always not right from her perspective.

Been going here for years, always have been treated fairly whether I had a 5 gallon bucket of scrap or a 30 yard dumpster. Now my kids go there to take their scrap, and are treated the same. Fair pricing, honest, and polite. Solid place of business.

Sullivan’s Scrap Metal was absolutely fantastic ! I got there on a very hot Friday about an hour before closing and an employee named Rich provided me phenomenal service. Rich did and show me every step in order to get paid. He didn’t rush me despite the time and other customers needing help. In the future, Sullivan’s will always get my scrap.

Word of warning: Best to pre-weigh your scrap and always check your receipt before cashing. I got burned there more than once. Their system does not preclude human error: Some of the technicians are sloppy when punching in the data - wrong materials entered and fat-fingered numbers.

I just finished dropping off old cast iron pipes from our basement. When I arrived it was a little confusing because there were so many buildings within. However, I stopped to ask a few people where to go and everyone was so nice and helpful. Highly recommend! Thank you for the help!

This is a fair and straight forward scrap yard.(Hatboro) Much better experience than some of the other local yards. The non-ferrous weigh station attendants are helpful and pleasant. I highly recommend this scrap yard to anyone, especially if you’re new to scrapping, the employees will help you and be fair. Look forward to coming again soon.

First time there, I knew nothing about recycling metals. Both employees I dealt with were incredibly polite, friendly and very helpful, explained the whole process. I was not concerned about getting ripped off as everything is pretty much out in the open unlike 611 metals. I highly recommend Sullivan's.

For smaller things take it to their scales near the Cafe, weigh, payout in the Cafe. Could use a sign for directions for first timers, though. In and out in 5 minutes. Free coffee on Wednesdays, too. Staff were helpful and not playing the tough guy act like some scrap yards. Thanks

Scrapping for over 30 years. Today was our second time here and it will be our last, due to one particular employee. The Russian man is extremely rude and disrespectful. Especially to women. When I came in alone the first time he literally rolled his eyes at me when I didn't know the procedure. He watched me unload my car into the cart and then the cart onto the scales... There were no other customers. He literally stared at me struggling and made zero effort to lift a finger to assist me, even when he was directly in front of me at the scales. He has also been rude, abrupt and unprofessional to both my husband and I. He told us on 2 occasions that stainless steel is not magnetic and refused to buy it from us. But has no problem taking it to "dispose of it" without payment (we declined this offer). In our experience there are magnetic and non magnetic stainless steels depending on the grade. As of today non magnetic is priced at 44 cents while magnetic is 31 cents per pound. Therefore, the non magnetic ss that he wanted to discard for nothing was worth several $ To top off this frustrating visit, he locked the door to the ATM prior to finishing up the last 3 customers. Those 3 customers were left with a slip showing the $ due, but no way to get their cash. When we questioned him about getting our money he very rudely and abruptly, with his back to us told us to "go to Cafe". From other reviews posted here, it appears that customers with trucks full of metals are very happy with Sullivan's. But the average person/homeowner with less than a truck load is treated very poorly. Due to this particular employee we will not be returning.

Riped off. Not with low prices stuff but messed items up intentionaly with lower prices on metals but switching multiple things around. He must have also not weighed at least 2 different coppers because the weight was heavier than any items on the receipt. Employee weighed different coppers and computer items and while we unloaded the rest. They closed yard as I was walking to the machine for the pay. He must have felt like it was perfect time to rip me off. Went here instead of normal spot cause of quarantine changing everyone ones time. Disappointing cause its closer than regular place. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Never again

CTC Demolition Company is on site in this area and we are using Sullivan's for our scrap. The service for us has been outstanding. If there are any issues, it was addressed immediately and resolved. Gordon has been especially helpful. We still have another metal building to take down so keep them cans coming!

I have been scrapping metal for over 10 years. I tried Sullivans out today as there website and customer service was outstanding. I called before I arrived to verify that they accepted the precious metals I have obtained IE: Bronze, Titanium, Brass and yellow brass. I scrapped my heavy metals without issue until I had to go to another section to scrap the smaller amounts of product. I was rudely met by a guy named Al who threw a bucket at me and told me "This is how it is done here". He then proceeded to argue that the bronze was not accepted there, the yellow brass was light iron, and my insulated copper wire was just wire. When I told him I would go somewhere else he began belligerent that I don't know what I'm talking about but he would accept my Bronze and Brass but for a lower copper price. I told him still I will find another yard and he started speaking a different language to another employee and was laughing at me. When I brought in my heavy box of Stainless Steel he watched me struggle to put it in his container and it spilled all over the shop. He just looked on as I had to scoop it all up and put it in "his" container instead of just weighing it in the box. Totally disrespectful and arrogant. Plus the prices are the lowest I have seen in this area. I will go back to 611 metals where the ALL the staff is friendly, helpful, and accepts all my precious metals without incident. I wondered why this place is always empty when I drive by, now I know why.

Convenient, and a very friendly staff. Their container service is great for larger loads. I've showed up with large machines on my equipment trailer, and they unload it quickly with no problem either with their forklift or their larger equipment. They'll help out whenever they can!!

I always get acknowledged and enjoy my visits. The staff make me feel like family and always put a smile on my face. The prices are always the highest. All together Sullivan's is the best scrap yard I have been too.

Not competitive at ALL!! Drive the few extra miles and get fair prices. Tight, cramped spaces, you have to drive to the other side of the property on the road to get your money which is then dispensed from an antique MAC machine. The attendant in the non ferrous area is so rude and unfriendly is amazing he keeps his job!! So with all the above issues you don't even get a thank you from an employee.....although the MAC machine says thank you........in Spanish!!!
