What can’t I say about this shop. Bob and Fred were great to work with. We were shown all the replacement parts and Bob spent the time to explain the problems with our car in full detail. He will be our regular mechanic.

I was having a noise coming from the undercarriage of my 2015 Tahoe. I had it diagnosed and it was found to be a transmission issue. After two opinions, I reached out to Bob at A Wyoming Valley Transmission from a search and reading good reviews about him. He explained to me what could be the problem and agreed to look it over for me. After doing so, he informed me that I would need a new transmission. He provided me two options and explain why I should choose the one I did. He had it shipped in and received it in two weeks. I dropped it off on a Friday morning and by Monday night, he had it done for me. Excellent service, friendly and professional. When in need of future auto work, I’ll be taking our cars to him. We were very happy and impressed. Highly recommend Bob for your auto repair needs.

Took my 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan here and let them know what was going on. Basically couple not get the van into drive. They let me know it might be covered by the dealer and to check that first so I wouldn’t spend money I didn’t need to, unfortunately it was not covered. So I went back and they informed me based on parts it could be awhile before they get it back to me. Long story short they had it back to me the same day I dropped it off!!! It was a simple fix and no part needed and they got me on the road quickly! Super nice guys there and I appreciate the honesty and advice! I will be returning for whatever I need on my vehicle! I got a clutch replacement for my truck. I LOVE IT!!! Bob is SO professional and such a wonderful warm person. He makes you feel like you've known him for a long time and he knows his stuff. What I love is that he walks through with you what's wrong with your vehicle and explains the mechanics of it and then what he did. He then takes the parts he removed and shows you what they looked like and what is supposed to look normal. For someone who is just learning about cars, this is EXTREMELY helpful but also makes him more trustworthy. He really took care of my pickup. His prices are also VERY fair and definitely so for the amazing job he does. He and his crew take pride in their work and that is VERY important to me. SO glad I went there.

Bob did what the Dodge dealer told me would take a month in three days. He also did the entire job for what the dealer was going to charge for parts. Absolutely a true professional, I didn't know businesses like this still existed. I highly recommend WVT.

I highly recommend this business! On a snowy Sunday afternoon I was driving on a dirt road near Nanticoke and slid into a dirt mound. Something was wrong with my truck’s steering or wheel but I was over an hour away from home and my trusted mechanic. Googled auto repair near me and Wyoming Valley Transmission popped up and rated at 5 stars! I drove over not expecting anyone to be at the shop on a Sunday afternoon but as I pulled in Bob greeted me. I let him know my problem and I left my truck there not expecting to hear anything for several days. Bob called me the next day. Said he would have the truck on the rack by Tuesday then that afternoon Bob called to let me know the truck was fixed!!! Told Bob I could pick up my truck Wednesday after work but would not be able to get there until almost 2 hours after he normally closed. Bob was very accommodating and said he would wait for me. I arrived well past closing time and Bob was there. He explained the repair to the steering/front end and the price was extremely reasonable!! This auto shop is a gem!! Friendly, accommodating, professional— I now have a new trusted mechanic!! Many Thanks to you Bob!!

Bob, the owner Of Wyoming Valley Transmission and Automotive repair and his staff did an outstanding job replacing my engine. He took a great deal of time explaining to me the options and gave me his professional opinion on what he thought I should do. I listened to his recommendation and I could not be happier. When I got in my truck and drove off it reminded me of when I drove it off the car lot 15 years ago, except now it runs even better. In addition, I have a 3 year/100,000 mile warranty for a fraction of the cost of a new vehicle. This place is a hidden gem! I would never take my vehicles anywhere else. Bob was super transparent about the work done to my vehicle and thoroughly explained all warranties regarding the parts put on my car. He also stayed in touch with me throughout the process updating me on his dealings with our insurance. My car drives like a dream again. I will definitely be back.

I needed a transmission in my dump truck. They got me going under 3 days. They really took care of me. They gave me a price for the job and when it came time to pay it was exactly what I was quoted. Great service great guys .

Really a great place to go for service. Bob and his team did a great job. Before he did anything he called to talk to us about the problems, I was aware what the cost was before the work was done. He takes pictures to show you what he found. He also sets you up with a check up after the truck leaves the shop. I am really happy I called him. Our transition and rear are fixed now. Thanks to a great team pleaser having the work done there.

My transmission locked up and I was told about this garage by my uncle. I'm very skeptical of where my vehicle goes especially when it's something I can't do myself! Bob called me every step of the way letting me know what was going on and if something needed fixed it wasn't something they took upon themselves to fix! Bob called me and asked if he should fix it! When I got in to get my car Bob invited me into the shop to look at the parts he replaced! They took amazing care of my vehicle! I will definitely be going back and giving them more business!

Hands down, Wyoming Valley Transmission (WVT) is the best auto repair shop I have ever had experience with. We were up from Texas visiting family during the Holidays and I lost my transmission, boy was I in a bind. New to the area I called several transmission shops and explained my situation, none of the mechanics could even begin to figure out what was wrong with my vehicle, but they did all have one solution in common: "Call Bob at WVT, when we can't figure it out we all call Bob". I could not have been more fortunate than to have crossed paths with Bob and his team. Bob sat me down and walked me through everything that was wrong, explained why it went wrong and presented his plan for repair, something almost unheard of in this day and time. Not only did Bob take the time out of his day to drop me off at my in-law's house, but he and his team efficiently expeditied my repair so that we could get back on the road. This is the best auto repair shop in the Wyoming Valley, hands down. I discovered A Wyoming Valley Transmission on Google several years ago when I needed a transmission specialist to inspect a truck I was interested in buying. There were only a few reviews at the time, but there was a common thread among all of them: this shop really cares about people. I took the truck there and was amazed how Bob, the shop owner, went out of his way to help me. From that first experience, I knew this would be my go-to shop from then on. The quality of the work is top-notch, the prices are very fair, and Bob is always so helpful. I especially love that he always takes time to thoroughly explain any issues with your vehicle. Sometimes he even shows you on the parts themselves what went wrong! He's gone the extra mile several times and put forth effort that he really didn't have to just help me out. On top of that, Bob has decades of experience, and his crew are all experienced mechanics too. It really takes away a lot of stress knowing that this is a mechanic that I can really trust. I took my 2008 Honda Fit (standard) to have the clutch replaced. I paid exactly what the job was quoted at, which was hundreds of dollars less than others in my area of the Hudson Valley. Bob was quick to respond and incredibly kind, courteous, and helpful throughout the process. Now my car drives like new! Thanks Bob!

I highly recommend this place for car repair! I am a young female from out of state and the owner treated me very respectfully, not taking advantage of my lack of car knowledge or knowledge of the area. I brought my car in after the recent storm because it was shaking and turns out there was ice in the back wheels throwing off the balance of the car. Despite the time and effort spent diagnosing the problem, the owner did not charge me! I will absolutely return for any car repairs in the future.

A Wyoming Valley Transmission & Automotive Repair is one of the last remaining honest and fair garages I have found. My late brothers truck broke down when I was driving it from where he lived in PA to where I live in MA. After spending hours trying to find a repair shop with no luck, a few mechanics and the Wilkes Barre police mentioned A Wyoming Valley Transmission & Automotive Repair. I called a spoke with the owner, Bob. I had the truck towed there and Bob and his staff diagnosed the issue within a half hour. He prepared a few estimates and timeframes to replace the transmission. Bob even drove me to pick up a rental car while he repaired my truck. Bob kept me updated on the repairs and completed the work within the timeframe he gave me. He even opened his shop on Sunday so my wife and I could pick up the truck at our convenience. The truck is running excellent now. I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing work done. My transmission went completely out traveling cross country in PA and I hoped on the phone to try and get it repaired as fast as I could. I called Bob and he got the details and told me he would get me an estimate in a few hours. I called 12 different shops and they would not make any time for me, but Bob worked hard and extra hours to fit me into his busy schedule. He also went above and beyond to make sure the new transmission worked perfectly. I am so grateful for Bob and his team to get me back on the road as soon as I could.

The transmission line blew out of my radiator and the thermostat housing broke, leaving me stranded on the side of the highway with steam coming out of the hood. As a result, I lost 7 qts of transmission fluid and 2 gal of antifreeze. Then I had my suv towed to A Wyoming Valley Transmission & Automotive Repair Center. They did all of the repairs and had me up and running by the next day!

I had a fantastic experience here. Needed my radiator replaced, and Bob couldn't have been more helpful, honest, and professional. Not only that, they were one of the cheapest places around, but with the quality you'd expect from an expensive major chain corporation. He's earned a repeat customer in me, won't bother taking my car anywhere else in the future.
