First of all I called for a delivery because we were almost out and was told because we don't use enough water we were taken off automatic delivery. Ok, I was fine with that, so I was told they would be here the next week on Friday. They never showed up. I called the following week and they couldn't find our account! Then they finally said they would be here again on Friday. Friday came and went and no water delivery. Called again and was told they were backed up and they would deliver on Tuesday. Now I get an email that they cannot deliver again today. They wait until they are closed to send the email! WOW! Worst company ever!!! Glen Summit was a great company until they were taken over by Tupelehocken!
We used the company at my workplace, started using them for my home service. This year has been horrible with them not delivering water and I’m having to go buy water at store. I call for inquiry they advised my driver for area no longer works there! okay get another one and pay drivers correctly for carrying multiple 5gallon jugs. Sadly I am going to look elsewhere for water
I have been using them for residential delivery for a few years. Twice in the last two months the delivery has been missed. Customer service is not friendly and is unhelpful - telling me they don’t know when they will be able to deliver before the next scheduled delivery in two weeks.
I have been a customer of Glen Summit Spring Water for many years. Josh is my delivery person and he goes above and beyond in taking care of his customers. He is very kind, dependable and professional. He actually follows directions as to where to leave my water. Hoping that Glen Summit keeps Josh as an employee. So many times customers are happy with their service and suddenly the dependable employees are gone. Also, the employees who answer the phone are always very polite and helpful. Try this company out. I know that you’ll be pleased.
Have been getting water delivery for a couple years now. Delivery guys are always kind and thoughtful, they have brought the jugs into my house and have called me if I forgot to leave the empties outside to see if I wanted more. They leave an invoice, you can pay them or mail a check or pay online. Never had any issues.
I can't get them to deliver.
I call. They tell me they're coming. Then nothing. 3 times in 8 days I've been told my delivery would be "tomorrow". When I get home, there's nothing on the porch but empties.
I'm going on 5+ years as GS/T Water Company customer. The Glen Summit water is the best! The delivery guys and customer service staff have always been very nice and professional. The work the drivers do is very difficult and demanding but all of them have always been the best and I am always met with a smile and a hello. Ray, a driver I have recently met was extremely polite and understanding as I forgot to put out my returns. Ray was courteous and patient as he waited in the cold for me to retrieve my empties. Finding such hard working and professional drivers must be the hardest challenge for GS/T but they continually provide their customers with a stellar group of delivery people. I recommend GS/T Water Service.
Before they merged with the other company they were excellent to do business with. That changed immediately and dramatically when they merged. There is not one redeeming quality to list so if you have another choice in companies go with that and if not lug the water from the grocery store!
I'm going to make this short. Office personnel is not friendly and very short with their customers on the phone.Visiting their office I can see why. The office looks like a bombed out building from WWII. The office personell seem over stressed from lack of cormputors skills and a lot of confusion.You never get a smile or hello. Don't dare ask for a receipt if paying a bill thats a 15 minute wait.Well I'm canceling service and having my 3 inlaws cancel their accounts. Its been 7 days now and I still have not recieved my monthly deliver after calling them 3 times. I spoke with the manager Steve and got nothing but attitude, no wonder the employees are miserable. Lead by example sir! I guess they don't need my money or it's not green enough. My inlaws are having some of the same issues. Bye bye losers ?
Used to be good. Then long time driver retired and it’s been a nightmare ever since. The past 4 deliveries I had to call because nothing was delivered. The first two excuses were he didn’t see the bottles (which were out the night before). The last two the truck broke down. Asked to speak supervisor and when I did I was basically threatened with increased rates. Was told I was getting a big discount. He complained to me about the big bills he has for his trucks. I’ll be looking for a new company.
This was my grandparents drinking water supplier in the 70's and 80's before Hazleton improved their tap water. Then and later a stop at Glen summit for a refill was part of the move to the summer place in Wyoming county. Not bottled tap water, folks. Always the best.
See C Pum’s reveiew. After nearly 3 years as a customer one day driver decides he’s not going to leave a replacement bottle because I did not leave the empty out and he was concerned about freezing temps. Again
, been a customer for nearly 3 years and this has never come up. Called twice, spoke with rude/ignorant representative by the name of ‘Bobbi’ whose only response was how fortunate I was that the driver would TRY to make the delivery even though it was off his route and that I brought this situation on myself. Which doesn’t even make sense since in the same breath she had indicated it was due to low temperatures outside. Unbelievably rude and ignorant with no apologies for THEIR error
I'm just going to throw this out there right now, I don't have a picture of a jug of water. Other than that, Glen Summit Water Company has been around for as long as I can remember. Which makes sense, because they predate me by many, many years. I used their services primarily for drinking water in my home. I used to have it delivered but with the consumption varying and then getting an accumulation of 5 gallon water jugs, I decided to make a personal visit when needed. The water is good, give it a try.
We’ve been customers for well over 5yrs. Never had an issue until our driver retired. We’ve had the water bottles out for 4wks! Today is the 5th Friday. With no pick up or delivery. I called last week and was told they didn’t have the distilled we needed at the time but will have one for the upcoming Friday....nothing. It’s one excuse after another. We’re sending in a check for the balance and going elsewhere
After about 4 decades of Glen Summit water deliveries in Throop I moved to Scranton in November'18. Called them and asked that deliveries be changed to my new Scranton address, a main street in the heart of West Scranton. Thus far I have received 4 dates for delivery. Still no water deliveries. First it was the snow storm. Then they were catching up after the storm. Then it was something about the drivers. When she gave me the fourth delivery date she PROMISED that it would arrive on Monday 12/3/18. Today is Wednesday and still no water. What else can I do, except return all their bottles. Nobody seems to care about company performance. I'll update if the water arrives before I return the bottles. Thank you.
Years of telling company I have painful hyperacusis, and how their backup alarms cause me seizures. Today backed this diesel onto my Duryea, PA street w/ alarms blasting and parks right in back of NO Trucks beyond this point sign, right next to fire hydrant. He should hang his head in shame as my whole body painfully shakes in spasms.
I've been doing business with Glen Summit for over 20 years. I've always had excellent delivery service. Our current delivery person John Beacham, is by far the most professional & courteous person. He makes you feel like you are part of the Glen Summit family. John is extremely dependable & always on time with deliveries. John is certainly a tremendous asset to Glen Summit. He's work ethic is amazing. All employees should have these same work ethics. John is truly a dedicated employee.
Don't call and inquire where your water delivery is @ 3:45 on the delivery day because as soon as Miss ignorant attitude answers " the drivers are behind from the storm TWO WEEKS AGO " before I got out ok thank you, I made it to Ok tha..... miss thang ! Hung up on me !!! Poor poor customer service !!
3 strikes and ur out, over 6 weeks, 1 negative after another. They should look at the 5 star rating last year and figure out what changed in their company.
