I didn't get the service but I do roadside and met tge owners grandson who does roadster vice on a job I couldn't do that he relieved me from.man!! When I say he was fast and efficient!! I couldn't stay the whole job but he was legit
I've seen alot of mechanics me being one myself but I'll tell you no one moves like that that I know.he figured out a issue in 15 mins flat.a issue that I was there 6 hrs plus on and couldn't figure out.
Don’t know the cost yet but the father and son had worked my truck. Had to tow to dealership. He was quick on it for me cuz dealer will be closing. Tow driver didn’t want me to pay double tow. Thank you very much. Totally recommended for service.
One of my truck broke down on I 81 southbound 7/09//2025 and we call services for towing and repair by Act truck trailler they told me to come and tow my truck will coast $845 and excepted they came wright away and after they placed my truck into their shop they said they can’t do till morning and they refused my driver to stay with truck and my driver checked in a hotel
In the next day morning they fixed my truck with out my concern I mean they didn’t told me what is needed and what it will coast to repair
They billed me $2966.28 including the towing fee which was 845,00 but they came 1300 Oslo just to replace one small air compressor pressure line $825:00
1,1/2 hrs labor $825
Most lie they told me was towing and labor and coolant that they put in radiator which was the main issues
I am here to advise any one willing to get service for this Act truck trailer repair in PA or around that zone please be aware before you let them to do any job to ask what will coast and make sure that you get an agreement that will insure you any of their negligence
Act Towing did a great job fixing my truck and really helped me out with the payment — very reasonable pricing. Mr. Paul was especially helpful, but honestly, everyone there was kind and professional. Highly recommend them!
We broke down on the side of the side of the road with our motor home towing our car
We were towed to the garage as it was a Sunday couldn't get fixed but one of the owners made sure we had water hydro etc
They tried to get it fixed Monday but ended up having to order a part and had us repaired by Tuesday
We were under a time constraint which they knew and worked very hard to get us back on the road
This is a family run business and I felt safe sitting in.the towing yard for two days
The guys were friendly and respectful and would recommend them for your motor home repairs
The view of the towing yard for our stay there was quite something as the owner winked and laughed with me that they don't charge extra for views
They made a horrible experience liveable

I've never seen such poor service as this towing company's. They came to assist a coworker on Route 81 and, absurdly, argued that the trailer couldn't be left because it was supposedly illegal, which is completely false. I accepted that they would take the truck and that I would have to pay for the towing service; that's all I understand.
However, when I showed up to pick up the trailer, they sent another tow truck to tow it without giving me any notice, solely for the purpose of generating an additional load. Now, they refuse to release the trailer to me until I pay for a service they didn't even inform me about in advance.
These types of practices make it clear that their only goal is to profit unduly at the customer's expense. For all these reasons, I strongly advise against using this company's services. Terrible experience.
The staff was excellent! All of the lights on my trailer were out, and when I reached out to them they took me right away and fixed the problem quickly. Highly recommended 👍🏽
This place is a joke! We were broke down on the side of the road, called and talked to Ashley, told him what the Problem we were dealing with and that we needed a tow because we were unable to drive the truck. He came out didn’t do anything asked us for $100 and said he wouldn’t charge us for labor.. He didn’t even touch a thing.AND he wasn’t in a tow truck! What a real piece of work. Taking advantage of people when they know they’re in need of help
To be honest they suck charged 1000 for one night I got into an accident all they did was bring the vehicle from the top of the mountains down to their shop and overcharged me don’t ever call this place not even for an emergency quite honestly doesn’t deserve any stars and manager is very disrespectful called him to speak on the price ended up fussing at me over the phone .Very unprofessional towing service

My wife, daughter, mother-in-law, and aunt were stranded 4.5 hours away from home. Kenny went out of his way on a day they were closed to help them. We cannot thank him enough for his kindness!
STAY AWAY FROM THE OFFICE AREA
I wasn’t going to write a review but I want to help others From going through what I’m going through. There’s a man in the office that is sickly and constantly coughing and he will get you sick. I am sick right now and I have been coughing, two days after visiting their shop. My temperature was 100 plus the other night. I’m home right now to get treatment and l will be going to the hospital on Monday. I think he need to just stay home and work from his computer, cause that’s all he does instead of coming in to
endangering public health. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THE OFFICE AREA.
However, I went in cause I was having a fuel leak issue on my truck and pull in there for them to help me even though they got the job done but they definitely overcharge me.
Workmanship was $500 plus for a less then an hour job.
i recently moved to pennsylvania and i have never had such a bad experience in my life my husband owns a business went there got work done and when i got my trailer back it was in worse condition than when they dropped it off not only that the experience i had with them the customer service was horrible the owers are rude and it makes me want to reloacte back to my home town i do not recommend this place
One of the worst shop. they will overcharge you and will work super slow on your truck. 3 hours work is 3 day work in this shop. If you go to this shop expect to pay lot of money. They will make you pay 5 times more than what you will pay in different shop.
I will be booking any of my repairs here again exceptional mechanics and staff i highly recommend this place its a no bs garage very strait forword the can get it done.

Our driver pulled his vehicle into Act Truck and Trailer Repair to have a tire swapped out because of low tread, I applaud him for taking safety measures. Our driver did not need to go there but because it was convenient, he stopped. Our driver already had the spare; it was just a simple swap out. They began repairs without a written estimate or even a verbal quote. My driver is also certain that there were no signs posted with rates, until he identified hand written signs when he left and returned with cash that they forced him to pay with. Why did he have to pay cash? Because he questioned their gouging $100 charge so they blocked his vehicle in and told him to pay cash or face storage fees. Really! For a tire swap!? These are horrible business practices and it does not surprise me that there are so many negative reviews.
My husband had the bearing blow out on a rear axel . He called act , they were quick to tow him . When he got there was told it’d likely be the next day before they could get to his truck , fair enough . Next morning , come 10:30 they hadn’t started , he goes to a truck stop across the street . 1:30 he goes back to his truck , they’ve began repairs . They used an old hub off their lot , tried to dress it up to make it look new , charged my husband 400 for the used hub , 500 in labor , 300 service fee and other meanial charges for a grand total nearing 1700 dollars . Told him to look out for leaks ! Had they done their job right , he’d not have needed warning . Sure enough , less than four hours later he stops for dinner , leaking like a sieve ! Rip off artists with shoddy work ! SAVE YOURSELF THE AGGRAVATION AND EXPENSE ! CALL A MORE REPUTABLE SERVICE CENTER ! THIS ONE SUCKS !
I took my commerical truck to get a clutch replace told me that all bolts broke off bell housing and need a new clutch said they needed to replace bell housing resurface fly wheel and replace clutch.it took them 3 1/2 weeks to get this done after I pick it up and having my truck for 2 weeks clutch went bad all bolts broke off bell housing again repair should said bell housing never replaced never resurfaced fly wheel ACT Charge me $4,500 for there work I will never ever use this Company again lied about work shabby work since the same issue happen after only 2 weeks after repair also should have only take 1 week to fix not 31/2 weeks
