I called and the dispatcher was very rude and said they couldn’t do the tow since we didn’t have a private driveway where the car was being towed (?) My husband called a few minutes later for me, and the woman scheduled the tow and we did use a1 which was the fastest, and most affordable option when AAA had us waiting for over an hour with no ETA. The driver was very nice and helpful.
These guys truly are amazing! I broke down this morning (my alternator took a dump), and I use these guys every time me or a friend need a tow. Every time I have needed a tow, Rey was always there and just a down to earth guy. Very pleasurable and knowledgeable and knows the directions to my mechanic by heart. Great customer service, I'm gonna be asking for him by name here on out. Not to mention the prices are very reasonable, and up front.
A-1 Towing Services was excellent. I had a dead Dodge Grand Caravan tucked away in storage in a tight spot at a weird angle. The customer service on the phone was great and the price point I was quoted was fair. The car was removed from the tight spot without any issue and I am so grateful as I was worried it would not be doable without getting the vehicle running again. Thank you!!!!!!!!!
Didn’t arrive at the time we discussed, but no towing company will. However, they called a few times to communicate the times and being behind which was great. I don’t remember the guys name who towed my car for me and I can’t find the paper but he was very kind, communicative, and towed my car without any problems. And the price was not bad at all. Definitely would use them again! (Hopefully I don’t have to )
After A1 towed my Volvo back from Rhode Island, my front passenger side bumper was cracked and broken and the windshield was cracked. I never said anything because I love this company. I loved their help and all of the towing services that they provided to me and my family and my business. I fixed the front bumper myself and replaced the windshield all at my own expense. My last two tows from A1 cost just about $4,000. These were from Maryland and Rhode Island . After coming back from a trip about 2 weeks ago, I found out that my pickup truck was towed from my own parking lot on a property that I lease. I contacted the management of the building. They didn't know the pickup truck was mine and told me to call A1. A1 offered me discounts on the towing and storage at a cost of $260 total. I chalked this up to bad communication between the new owners of the building that I have a 5-year lease and I did not blame A1 because of our relationship and all the work that they did for me and my family. When I called there today to pick up my pickup truck I was told that the cost now was $690. I just about had a heart attack considering the relationship that I had with this company. They told me it was for storage charges and that they gave me all the discounts they could. If I had known that it was more than $260 for me to leave it here, I would have had somebody from my company come and pick it up but I was not properly or clearly informed of this information. GOING FORWARD MY TOWING IS GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE
They came to my rescue many times to pick up my fire truck. Great service, reasonable prices, Steve Ross was great, and so was Jerry. They came out in the middle of the night at 1 AM to tow my fire truck when it broke down. Highly recommend These guys know what they're doing.
Michael was awesome and so helpful, would definitely use them again, but hopefully I don’t need to. Also, they were the cheapest available and their flatbed tow truck was beautiful. My car was delivered to the dealership in perfect condition. Couldn’t give a higher rating.
We have used them several times and every time the driver was so awesome and took care of us as well I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a tow or anything

If your vehicle gets taken here, in addition to the contracted rates A1 has with the city you are being charged:
-$45/day storage
-$50 Admin fee
-$35 gate fee
-3% convenience fee if you use a credit card
The person on the phone will not tell you about the $45 daily storage fee.
The person on the phone will not tell you about after hours pickup and say you have to show up during business hours 8:00am to 5:00pm. Allegedly, for a $75 fee, after hours pickup can be arranged.
Your vehicle is considered abandoned after 20 days and they take possession. Keep this in mind if your vehicle is not worth very much.
The 2012 PA Towing Law says the vehicle owner can inspect their vehicle. Whether A1 will allow the owner on their lot before paying is unknown.
A1 says that they do not charge storage for the first day or when the police are doing an investigation but will charge you anyway.
Fantastic service. Came sooner than predicted and the driver was 100% professional. I hope I don’t need a tow again anytime soon…. But if I do, I will absolutely use them again. Thank you!!
I scheduled to have a tow through my Roadside Assistance. This was at 6am. Scheduled pick up time was between 10-11a. I called the drop off location to see if my car was dropped off. It was not. I called the Tow Company left a message and said they were running a little behind. No problem. I called the drop off location again at 1p. Car was not dropped off. Could not get through to tow Company. Spoke to representative for Roadside Assistance and they said the tow company would pick up my car at 210p. Called the drop off location at 330p. Car was not dropped off. Called the tow company again. No one picks up. I understand we are all busy and emergency may arise but it takes 10 seconds to make a phone call to update the customer.
They towed my junk car from my drive way without noticing me. Because my junk car's inspection (!) is expired.
They did not give any notice.
They did not just knock my door.
They knew nobody can drive junk cars.
They did not left any info to find them.
You decide their intention.
Very friendly and quick service I called at 10:04am and was able to get my information taken pretty quickly. I was quoted approx an hour wait for pick-up which was great in my opinion but they were there in about a half and hour which was even better. There was a quick payment process with my phone and they hooked my car up quickly and brought it to the shop to be repaired. I thought the price was reasonable and I would definitely use them again.
Service was very prompt. The driver was excellent and my car arrived at the Honda dealer in perfect condition. I was pleased how the paperwork could be completed on site. I would highly recommend

They were quick and easy for the job I needed done. the driver was very professional and made the removal process easy. I will definitely be calling again for the next job.
The first tow truck driver was able to start my car and then followed me home in case I stalled again. No charge. Then the second driver who came to tow it to the mechanic for me was very professional and respectful. Would use them again in a heart beat.
So thankful they were there when we needed them. Car broke down in a dangerous spot with the family dog on board. A-1 found us, helped us safely get the dog into their truck, kept everyone calm, and towed the car to Firestone for us. Absolutely no complaints.
Got stuck with my car not starting but cranking and got towed to my tuners shop. Fair price for the distance also the most genuine driver I ever met. Great people. The rep over the phone was also very pleasant. Overall great experience. Would recommend to anyone with any car built or stock.
Dispatch was professional and courteous. Dispatch was quick, and Steve was very easy to work with. As lousy as it is to have to get your car towed due to car trouble, I enjoyed talking with Steve during the process. He’s a good guy.

Excellent customer service. Came within the time frame promised and I was late meeting the driver because I got lost. He patiently waited for me to arrive and then waited again to make sure I was totally situated before he left. Very friendly, professional and courteous. Reasonable pricing.
I called when i was in a real jam and needed my car delivered to the shop asap to get an afternoon appointment. They told me it would be within an hour and actually came in 35 minutes. Then, due to poor signal, the payment card reader wouldnt function. But Mike said not to worry, we would sort it out later, and still delivered my truck to the mechanic. We sorted out the payment later but being ahead of schedule, on short notice, and flexible with payment... could not be happier. Would recommend. 5 stars. The dispatch woman was nice too.
Great service! Arrived within the hour during a terrible thunderstorm, extreme down pouring rain and lightening. Gentlemen that towed my brothers car was understanding and very positive. Even helped park the car. Worked fast and kept us updated while we stayed in a separate car. Reasonably priced as well! Thanks again.
