Semi got towed from Allentown to mechanicsburg. Bob is a funny guy. Down to earth dude. Even gave insights on life situations. I’d recommend this place to anyone. Especially this driver
Had a bad situation and where I was stuck in the middle of the road with a mechanical issue involving my power steering hose and bob the guy that came and got me out the situation was very friendly, understanding, and helped make a bad day just a bit better I recommended this tow truck services for anyone they treat you with respect as long as you’re respectful to them and they’ll do whatever they can to get you out of a jam safe and sound.
One of their drivers driving a van with the license plate number 23838 was tailgating me and every car infront of them on 78 and 33 around 4pm today. They were driving erratically and dangerously. Your guy is going to cause an accident, with a company truck.
If could leave a negative 5 I would for the tow dispatcher Kyle R I had the worst experience ever he left me stranded last night freezing on 12-9-2025 in the middle of rt 222 and n Krocks rd after battery caught fire holding up traffic..he stuck his nose in business that didn’t concern him involving a police officer wanting to search my vehicle which I didn’t consent to..instead of Kyle coming to do his job he came to make things worst and just drove off left my car in the road for another hr for another tow truck to come and they charged me more for being emergency towing oh nd police still didn’t search my vehicle which Kyle was saying he wouldn’t put my car on his truck unless I let them thoroughly search it. Felt they were all in on it to violate my rights and I believe this not that first time Kyle let down a customer with his rude behavior I dnt usually do reviews but Kyle R I feel have to go Yocum towing I hope u take this seriously!!!! Really was thinkin of getting lawyers involved
All 5 of these stars are for Kyle Y!! He came to tow my car today after I was hit by a car who ran a red light. I had been waiting a while to be picked up, but his fault, and was not in the best area of town. Kyle came to the rescue and was honestly… so freaking awesome! I clearly had not had a great day, but somehow he brightened it! You deserve a raise, my friend!! Keep being awesome and thank you so much!!
I had Yocum’s Towing come out through AAA for s dead battery, and the experience was pretty awful. He jumped to the conclusion that the battery was fine and that there must be a problem with the wiring or ground. He didn’t even bother to charge the battery or suggest running the engine to let it recharge. He didn’t want to put in the minimal effort to do a proper diagnosis. The next day, I had the battery actually tested elsewhere. It just needed a jump and some time to recharge, no wiring issues at all. So basically a lazy technician who didn’t care to do his job right and just wasted my time. If you’re looking for someone who’s thorough and knows what they’re doing, I’d steer clear of Yocum’s Towing.

Today my parents and I received outstanding assistance from our Service Provider, Roi. He helped check our flat tire, changed it, and educated us on how drive around in the emergency tire. He handled the service professionally and with genuine care. He makes a great asset to Yocum and AAA Companies. He deserves recognition for his humanitarian service.
First off, I’m want give a great shout out to curt! I came down to Yocum to recover my vehicle which was stolen from in front of my house in Philadelphia. I spent almost all the money I had on me to pay the tow fee, get a new registration and plate, taking Ubers not only down to Whitehall pa but back and forth to Whitehall police station, the auto tag place, penndot and back to Yocum’s office. I came down there with $700 and only had $160 left to my name and I needed my car key to be reprogrammed to start the car to drive it home, well this is where curt comes in, he not only gave me a ride back to the lot to get my car but on the way this man gave me $160 to match what I had to have the key reprogrammed so I can get back home to Philadelphia, the Bible says that God will give his angels charge over you to take care of you and honest to God truth, I believe he was an angel in the flesh. Him and I don’t know each from a can of paint but he blessed me and I will never forget it. That’s more than customer service, words really can’t explain or describe this man. Yocum’s customer service was great, I forget the gentleman’s name that I spoke with on the phone but he was very helpful from the very first time I spoke to him earlier in the morning around 8ish. I just want to thank the guys there and curt if you get a chance to read this, I’ll be back down there to repay you that $160 bud, God Bless you!
Yocum has been helping us with our trucks for sometime. I often get to work with one of their drivers Bob, very knowledgeable with everything he is doing and always professional.
Great towing company. Jordan was awesome. He went over and above to help with a difficult towing situation. He was polite, professional,, and capable in every aspect of his job.
My work truck broke down and needed a tow. Even though they were busy Bob still got to the site and took care of my truck and drove me an hour and a half to my branch. He was professional and friendly as well.
Tyger was absolutely awesome, took care of our vehicle all the way thru and was great with unloading with care. Customer service is supreme. Thank you.
I had a deeply disappointing and very stressful experience with Yocum Towing, particularly with their dispatcher, Matthew. My vehicle broke down late at night around 7pm. in a rough area of Allentown, and I was stranded on the side of the road with my baby and toddler. After waiting several hours without food for my babies or support, I was told by Matthew that I had to remain with the vehicle until 10pm. So I left to get my kids home in hopes I could find someone to watch them! then since I didn’t get back in time they changed the arrival time to 1:30 a.m. for it to be towed. So a younger female alone down a dark alley at 130 in the morning in a bad area seems a little crazy if you want to look out for someone’s safety and show some empathy.
Despite explaining that I needed to get my children home safely, Matthew showed no understanding or flexibility. He even suggested I “get my husband to come watch them,” despite knowing he was at work. His tone was cold, dismissive, and completely lacking in empathy.
Thankfully, AAA was understanding of the situation and did their best to find an alternate company that could assist us. Unfortunately, Yocum made an already stressful emergency far worse by refusing to work with basic compassion or common sense. And even there tow truck Johnny was really amazing and so kind to me and had no problem taking it due to the circumstances but since his boss Matthew told him no unfortunately he listen to his boss which I under stand.
In emergency roadside situations, especially involving children, I would expect any reputable towing company to show a degree of humanity. That was not the case here. If aaa has yocum as your tow company consider asking for another company because on top of everything going wrong there was no understanding he told me people wait with there kids all the time it’s not a big deal. I understand company’s have rules and regulations but a little compassion goes a long way!!
On June 10th 2025 we made a AAA call for a battery issue on the third floor of a parking garage off of Hamilton Street, the guy that helped us out was awesome. I think the young fella should get a raise! Very nice guy.
Placed a call through AAA for my car that had died and the whole process was smooth and painless. The tow truck driver, Kyle Y., couldn't have been nicer and more reassuring when he towed my car to the local Hyundai dealership. He was friendly, prompt and their service was quick and efficient. My dog locked herself in my truck a few weeks ago when I was visiting family in PA. My experience with the local police and AAA was subpar to say the least. But Yocum Towing saved the day with their quick arrival/service and jovial/kind attitude. I wish I remembered the name of the gentleman that assisted me, as he is a true gem. On Mother's Day, after Mass, my car failed to start. After a brief wait, John appeared with his tow truck. He courteously and efficiently loaded my car and delivered it to my mechanic's business. John represented Yocum Towing in the very best light possible...kudos to a fine employee and hard worker.
Called AAA for a flat tire so in about 15 minutes their guy showed up. Roy is a great guy professional and friendly had it done in no time. Thanks again Roy.
Jordan was exceptional!!! He was dispatched over to tow my car. We thought it was the alternator. He checked everything cleaned off my battery checked the levels and the car was fine. He did not tow it in spite of. I appreciate his authenticity and integrity. Kudos to you Jordan. Thank you so much.
Joe, you are a Rockstar! Two hours on the phone with AAA, trying to reach help while at Costco on Krocks Rd couple of weeks ago, repeating my car issue with the agents and nothing. So, a third agent answered and explained about a storm in TX! She finally was able to reach Yocum Recovery over on Grammes Rd. So, two hours waiting to connect to this recovery person, Joe, who solved my battery issue in 15 minutes. Prompt, efficient, 35 yrs experience and cool as a cucumber on this very hot day. Nice to know there is expert help around the corner. Thanks, Joe B, I appreciate you and your skills.

Joe is amazing!!! AAA dispatched him and he was great. I only needed a new battery. He brought one out, tested it multiple times, was efficient and quick. I needed my car taken to my mechanic this morning. Ryan called within 10 minutes of me calling AAA and was to my location within 1/2 an hour. He was very courteous, professional and caring about my car. I will definitely recommend and request Yocum Towing if I ever need the service again! Thank you, Ryan!!!! My Subaru broke down last night while traveling on the highway. Got ahold of AAA to send a tow. When I got a notification that Yocum will be towing me. The communication between AAA and their contractors can be challenging so I called Yocum directly to confirm.
Its worth noting that I requested a tow right after Christmas at 11:30pm so I can already assume I may be waiting some time with everyone across the country having travel plans. Ontop of that it's a holiday so not every employee may be on the clock at that given time.
Bill in dispatch was clear, direct and helpful to my situation and made sure I was being taken care of so late at night.
Kristin who arrived to pick up my vehicle was early to the estimated time given. Which to me is huge! She even called me a few times to give me updates on her way over to me. I learned she was at the end of a long tiresome holiday shift (with a few more hours left). Even then watching her assess the situation, loading the vehicle up and making sure everything was safely strapped down she was very alert, respectful, professional and communicative. She was really cool and had a great attitude the entire time.

The tow truck driver could not have been more courteous & apologetic towards the miscommunication he received from the police department that dispatched him to the seen of my parking lot fender mender. (Liability accepted be the other motorists insurance after 4 weeks)!
He was looking for "major" front end damage to a vehicle on MacArthur rd. The poor recovery driver saw me wave him down from a parking lot. I felt so bad that he was pulling a 10 HR shift and didn't even have time to catch a burger. I Flipped him the keys. Thanked him for the outstanding personality he brought to the scene & told him to recover my car after he grabbed a bite to survive the rest of his shift.
There is more to just towing a car from the scene of a mishap. There is the personality you show up with. Despite how my weekend started off, this tow truck driver sure put a positive spin on the hole situation for me.
