Well, took a set of chrome wheel CENTERS to get powder coated, was told on the phone it was gonna be $100 a wheel, but couldn’t promise the powder to stick because of being chrome plated but they could try sanding and coating them. So I took the wheels apart dropped just the centers off and gave it a month before I got a call.
Come time to get the center I went and picked them up to a $700 dollar bill to powder coat 4- flat, round 2” by 22” wheel centers that were the wrong color, but close. I figured you get what the pay for maybe the materials they used were more pricey from being chrome. Labor to prep ETC. So i paid and I take the wheel centers home and put them together, only to chip a entire piece off with a 10 mm socket I dropped on it unloading out of my truck!
Come to find out these clowns did NO SURFACE PREP at all! The chrome finish was still as smooth as the day I dropped them off! The powder coating was literally flaking off like a mold of the wheel. There was no attempt put in to have the powder stick to the chrome. What a absolute waste of money and time giving them a chance.
Would not recommend ordering anything off line or out of there catalog. Give you a price for shipping then never call to say it's going to be more and then sale them. They claim they left me a message but I never once got a voicemail. And was told they was going to be shipped and paid for the day I called.
Absolutely fantastic customer service from Jim and the crew. I custom ordered a new fire suit from him in January and he stayed in contact with me throughout the entire process from first the first design to the final. When the suit came in he was extremely helpful in setting up the date to come down and pick it up along with my new helmet and gloves 10/10 recommended will definitely do business again with Jim!
I am constantly in to buy parts and fuel for my car. The owner is a really great guy and they have plenty of services to offer. Would recommend to anyone.
