I had a bent rim from hitting a pot hole. I walked in as soon as they opened the next morning, and they had my car ready in a few hours and I was able to drive to work that day.

Until recently we have had many issues with the Abington location. We decided to give it one more chance before we used another shop. We were happily surprised to see that Abington has been completely turned around. Staff was very nice (shout out to Maria!). Appointment was easily made, friendly staff all around, facility was clean, good communication and my car was ready when promised.

I visited Firestone this Saturday for four tire sensors, a balance, and an alignment. As a business owner, I have high expectations for service, and while the appointment took significantly longer than anticipated, the team handled the situation with integrity. A huge thank you to Maria, Ed, and the young man assisting them. They recognized my frustration and made things right by discounting the final bill. I truly appreciate their commitment to customer service. I apologized for my initial reaction it came from a place of high expectations but I’m happy with the outcome. I had an excellent experience at Firestone Complete Auto Care in Abington. The service was fast, smooth, and very professional from start to finish. The staff knew exactly what they were doing and didn’t waste any time getting the work done. I also want to give a big shoutout to the store manager, Maria. She was extremely helpful, professional, and made sure everything was explained clearly. It’s refreshing to deal with someone who genuinely cares about the customer experience. I’ll definitely be coming back here and would highly recommend this location to anyone needing quality auto service.

Nobody ever wants to get tires or get their check engine light diagnosed.... If you ever do need to, this is the place to go. Everything was explained plain as day, why the check engine light was on, how they would go about fixing it... this was a first for me. Just blunt honesty with all the proof. What is even better, is that even a month later my tires are solid, no check engine light.... Just a happy customer who will come back over and over again. Thank you!!!!!!!!

I recently had to go in for a new set of tires and wheel alignment. I had a great experience from the second I walked in. The customer service was amazing and it felt like they were truly trying to help me out, not just steal my money like most places nowadays. I highly recommend!!

I recently visited Firestone in Abington, and wow…what an experience! From the moment I walked in, the women at the front desk were so professional, warm, and welcoming. By the time I picked up my car, it was running in top-tier condition. As a busy mom, my car is everything. It keeps my life moving and plays a huge role in easing my financial stress, so trusting where I take it is a big deal. Using their 24-hour drop box made the whole process even more convenient and stress-free. The entire crew was amazing, and they truly went above and beyond. I’m confident my car will stay strong for years to come…..or at least until my next maintenance appointment, haha! Highly recommend this location.

Update-This was the 3rd time I needed to bring my car back to fix the same tire. Every time I brought the car in they promised it was fixed only to have the same tire to lose air. Even after I brought it in yesterday and I picked it up and it was promised to be fixed it lost air within an hour. When my husband brought it back the staff was rude saying “well, I don’t know what to say to you.” The service staff did take a look and found another hole and fixed it, but I will never bring my car back to you again. Big mistake. Previous review. While I was pleased that they could take my car on a Sunday, and I understood that they would need to keep the car overnight because they didn't have the tires in stock, I was displeased when I went to pick up the car the next morning. When I arrived and got into the car, the tire pressure notification indicated that the new tires they had put in were not at the manufacturer's recommended pressure. I went back inside and found the employee smoking in the garage bay. When I asked him if he could top off the air pressure, he said he would't be able to because he didn't have a "pressure chuck:; and they were locked up with the tools, and none of the mechanics would be in until 10:00 am. And then he gave me some excuse that they were new to that location. I thought that was rude and dismissive and considering I'd spent almost $1000 on two new tires, not great customer service.

I came in to have a wheel alignment done on my Cadillac because the car was pulling to the right. They accepted my car, but after about 1.5 hours, I was told they couldn’t perform the alignment and that I needed to go to a certified dealer. They didn’t charge me for the work, but when I drove out, I noticed that the alignment had been completely messed up — now the car pulls strongly to the right, and the steering wheel is crooked when driving straight. I can’t believe that they had never done this service for this type of vehicle and weren’t aware of their capabilities.

Will go again! Went in for an oil change and brake replacement, and found pricing to be very reasonable. They are short staffed, but the employees there were still professional and worked hard. Appreciative of the service I received.

The lady at the front desk was super helpful. Came with a low tire pressure light on and she helped fill up all my tires and trouble shoot the light and offered to schedule me and appointment if the air didn’t fix the problem. Luckily it did! Will return in the future. They were kind and knowledgeable.

Let me first start by saying I had a wonderful experience getting my oil changed at this location about a month ago. I really thought that I had found a new place to get my car serviced; however, that all changed today. I had made appointment for 10am to get my PA state inspection. I dropped my car off around 9:45am and the woman running the desk told me that it wouldn't be done until the end of the day, which I was fine with as they had told me that when I booked the appointment. I was told I would get a call when my vehicle was ready. Around 4:15pm I get a call from a guy asking me if I need my car back today and he proceeds to tell me that they won't be able to look at my car today. I asked him why no one notified me sooner and and he told me that they just determined that they won't be able to get to my car. My car has been at the shop for over 6 hours at this point. I tell the guy that I know the location is open until around 7pm, that's another 3 hours, and I ask if they would be able to get it done as I need my car and he said "no, not going to happen." At this point he tells me he can get me rescheduled for Tuesday, again, I can't just drop my car off for another day during the week--I need to get to work. I ask him when the next appointment is on a weekend and he says the 15th. Now mind you, this whole interaction, there isn't one single apology or any sort of problem solving on behalf of this person that I'm speaking to. He sounded like he couldn't have cared less that he didn't get to my car. I honestly would not be as upset if he at least apologized or seemed even slightly remorseful, instead his tone deaf response and inability to show a thread of remorsefulness really annoys me. When I went to the shop, I asked for my keys and registration and again, no one even offered an apology or solution. I understand businesses get busy or might be short staffed, but to have my vehicle for 6+ hours and call at the end of the day, not even, you close at 7pm, to tell me you can't get it done is just absurd. I wasted an entire day without a vehicle, had to take a day off of work and I didn't even get the service I requested completed. DO NOT GO HERE...It pains me to say, I had such a positive initial experience; however, today takes the cake in terms of terrible customer service. I will be fine because there are plenty of other places to take my vehicle, but for everyone else out there in the area, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

I’m satisfied with the service, I just wished they had more employees. There was only one person working when I went in and I felt so bad for the guy. Literally doing everything waiting for the other employees to come in or come off their lunch breaks. The price was a lot for all four tires but I got weather grip cause I travel a lot and my area is nothing but pot holes so they should last a while for $920. Overall the people who work there were amazing as did the best they could!

Mel is a refreshing auto care advisor, respectable, considerate, and carries a positive and genuine attitude. I caught a flat tire while traveling and after visiting two other facilities not having my tire size, I called this location and Mel was very helpful, respectful, and got me back on the road in a timely manner despite the circumstances he was facing during my visit. I appreciate his time and care, I highly recommend this location, they will take care of you and want to keep their clients safe.

I made an appointment for a simple oil change, expecting a quick and efficient visit. Instead, I was told upon arrival that it would take all day due to a promotion. When I asked why an appointment didn’t guarantee timely service, the manager blamed their scheduling system, saying it couldn’t predict future shop traffic. That’s unacceptable. What’s the point of making an appointment if your system can’t honor it? This isn’t just poor planning—it’s a failure of customer respect. I’ve heard this location has a reputation for bad service, and unfortunately, my experience confirmed it. Firestone, what are you doing to fix your scheduling system? If your own staff admits it can’t handle basic forecasting, then it’s time for a serious upgrade. Customers deserve better than vague excuses and wasted time.

On my way to work suddenly tire going flat luckily near Firestone Abington. Was nervous as I was really needed early that day at work and thought I'd never be able to get there early. Vu at the desk was extremely professional and Cheese had me back on the road in 30 minutes. Life savers! Literally.

What a great experience here! I came here in desperate need of a battery replacement as mine had died that morning- I got it jumped but if I turned the car off it wouldn’t restart. This location was recommended to me and they were fantastic- friendly, and got me in and back on the road in less than an hour. They made a stressful moment much better for me, I highly recommend. I had a horrible experience at the Pep Boys near me when I needed to purchase two tires and have them installed because I was on a donut and travel far for work. They made me wait almost 5 hours to even bring my car into the shop then told me I needed new tire rods and would cost $1500 but they were closing in half hour. The next day we called Firestone and talk to Alan and he was super nice and got us in right away and we spoke to him about the tire rod pricing and when I say we dropped it off and it was done in less than 2 hours and on top of it he patched my tire and put it back on where the donut was I couldn't believe how fast, professional, knowledgeable, and just personable he was! And the pricing was for sure a lot cheaper! I wanted to do the tires too there,but I had work in 2 hours. But I told Alan I'll def be calling him to schedule appt for the tires and my inspection as well!! It's hard to come by people in this industry that know what they are talking about and also not trying to get you for every penny you have!!! Thank you!!

This is my second visit to this location and I am very pleased with the entire experience. Both experiences were great and it was the same person that helped me. His customer service skills were excellent. I plan to use this Firestone location whenever I can.

It’s unfortunate that I can’t give zero stars. I’ve never been so frustrated. Tell me why my appointment (JUST FOR AN OIL CHANGE) was at 8:00 AM but when I went and checked back at 11:15 AM my car was parked in the same place. I went in and asked about it and they said they didn’t start yet but that it would be the next one to come in to be worked on. I asked how long that would be and was told probably ANOTHER hour and a half to two hours. If that was the case (I don’t believe it, I bet it would have been even longer) It would have been at least 5 hours for just an oil change. Can someone please tell me how that makes sense? Like I actually want a response from a person…please tell me why there were appointment times as early as 8:00am but at 11:15 my car had not been touched. I received no updates or apologies for the wait being so long (and longer than the couple hours I was told when I first arrived which should have meant 10:00AM) I’m truly so frustrated. I had to WALK 1.2 miles to my next errand appointment and then take a video call meeting outside in 90 degree heat. At 11:30 I asked for my keys back and I went to jiffy lube and they started right away and I didn’t even have to leave my car. I URGE and BEG you to go to a better service center like Bergey’s or an oil change service center like jiffy lube. (They had synthetic oil AND I was in and out in less than 15 minutes). I’ve never had to wait 5 hours for an oil change. Stupid.

I am very impressed with the service I received at this Firestone location. I would especially like to give credit to Wu the manager and Max who worked on my car. I had popped a tire right before leaving for vacation and I was towed to this location. I told Wu that we were leaving for vacation that afternoon and he and Max put on a new tire and I was done in 20 min. And this was a Friday afternoon! I was so grateful for Wu’s consideration and understanding! I believe that this was truly incredible service! Thank you Wu and Max at Abington Firestone!!

My daughter (a college student) went to get a standard oil change and tire rotation. She scheduled it between commitments thinking it would take about an hour. Two hours later her car was finished and they told her she needed a new battery. They claimed it would stop working very soon and offered to do it for 400.00. She turned down their offer knowing she could install a battery herself and was in a time crunch. They then charged over 70.00 for the oil change and rotation. She was expecting around 50.00 but was in a hurry because it took so long so didn't check the receipt. When she got in the car it was filthy..the floor was covered in dirt. (See pic below). I called to explain to them what had happened and was told that she could bring the car back and they would clean their mess. This was after 2 hours of waiting and she was back at college meeting with a group 20 minutes away. When asked for an explanation for the bill they said " tariffs are impacting our labor costs"..?? My daughter was never told this before the appt. They also said they would have a manager call her to discuss the complaint but she never got a call back. A highly disappointing experience. ?

Nice employees- terrible time management. I made an appt online for 7am on a Saturday, the appt was confirmed, i get there and they don’t have the tires i selected online in stock. Guy said “oh you should have called.” I don’t know how i was supposed to know that when the store website said they were in stock…rescheduled for 2pm the following day. Also indicated I would be waiting on site. Arrived 15 minutes early for my 2pm appt, they didn’t take my car back until 3pm (why even have appt times?) and didn’t finish with it till 4:45pm. They also scratched my black rims in three places that I have found (that wasn’t the white wax from changing my tires.) I won’t be returning. 3 stars bc the guy at the counter was at least nice to speak to. After almost 3 hrs of waiting i was just too tired to make a stink about my rims. Very similar to how they beat you down in dealerships lol

The people are nice, but as mechanics, DO NOT GO HERE. I got an oil change that took 3 hours and they didn’t secure the hatch properly afterwards and it started dragging on the street as I drove away. I got a tire alignment here and they left me with 3 warning lights on, couldn’t tell me why (there were none when I went in) and said there were no codes. I go to a different Firestone and they say there were 6 codes and they were able to clear 5 of them. Cannot even do the very most basic things any mechanic should be able to do. It also took them 4 hours to do the tire alignment that actually messed up my brakes, and every time I’ve even there *with an appointment* I can’t get out in less than 3 hours. Absurd. Even for the most routine, basic things. Cannot emphasize enough how much I recommend that you do not go here. UPDATE They told me they would reimburse me if I needed to go to Toyota to fix their mess, so I went there and got a quote of around $3000, to which the manager here replied that he could not approve that sum of money, so I had to go through their corporate claims office. Months later and missing a road trip to see family in Texas for Christmas because of the damage they caused, to no one's surprise, they decided they were not responsible for fixing the damage they caused. How convenient. So now I'm stuck with with car that's unsafe to drive in (isn't that a liability for you Firestone?) Also if you haven’t been to Firestone, it takes 3 hours to do anything, even if you have an appoint, no matter where you go. So really, avoid the whole franchise. They got me with a lifetime alignment but it’s not worth it folks.

Timely access to their services. They were pleasant, accommodating, and helpful. They orders the tires we requested but then attempted to add on a recycle fee when I had specifically asked to keep the original tires. They were supposed to call when tires arrived, but did not. I called after not hearing in the expected time and was told they were waiting there. On picking up the car, two of the custom valve covers were missing and found by me on the floor of the tire bay. Three of the 4 tires had recommended pressure when I checked them at home.. the 4th was 10 lbs under pressure. Telling it like it is. I expected better service from a major, reputable company and brand.

????This was a fantastic?????, super quick team!! From the first point of contact (calling for a last-minute, same day appointment that was HONORED!) to handing me back my keys; Alan, Vu, and their team made sure to service my car which was making this clicking noise, along with a much needed alignment. I've been to the dealership and other certified mechanics who couldn't locate where the sound originated. Thank goodness I had their Lifetime Alignment Service!!

23 March 2023 update. After working with Firestone and the local manager, the team did as much as they could to make the situation correct. I am happy with the outcome and am changing this to a three star review. I wish this could be a five star review. I dropped my vehicle off this past weekend for a look at my tire and an oil change. I had a 300 mile drive coming up on Monday. Service appeared to go fine and I started my trip on Monday. My oil pressure light came on 20 minutes before my destination. I pulled in to my hotel, checked in, and the went out to investigate. I popped the hood to discover my engine soaked in oil. The service center had lef the oil cap off! It was tucked into a recess of the hood. I had to add three quarts of oil to replenish what was lost. This could have been catastrophic. I've attached a photo showing exactly the state of my car when I opened the hood after driving.
