Biggest inside recovery auto salvage yard around,only used them once,they had a tough to find part for me,a miscommunication at pick up gave me some inconvenience but it happens they were apologetic
They scamed me out off 800 and no refound the place sucks they should be shut down and then on top of evrey thing gave me a run around and threatened me and called me a lier I wish they would close there doors
5, 5, 5, 5 star! everywhere in Erie was going to charge me $350+ for 1 axle u-joint. A1 charged me $100. These guys are amazing! I'll be going to these guys for the rest of the time I'm able to. Thank you guys so much!!
This place is awful. customer service is rude. got a transmission off of eBay and they refuse to give me a refund for it. I do not recommend anybody to go to this place they talking about because they don't see their markings on the transmission that that is not there as a company you should have a serial number on the transmission in your records of the one you sent out .not just a marker on a metal surface that would get rubbed off if you put it in
Good place to get parts. The guys that work there are sweet and honest people. They gave me a discount on the part I needed because I waited for them to pull it. I had also needed another part and they called me when it was ready. Upon bringing it home I noticed it had a crack, they didn't have a replacement so I decided to keep it. But they offered to give me $15 bucks back for it and glue it for me as well. Had a great experience going through this place, would recommend.

A great place to find pretty much any kind of part you might need for most cars. Batteries, tires, hubcaps, you name it. The service was great. They helped me as soon as I walked in. Needed used tires and they not only had them, but were able to get them all put on while I waited. Terrific service. Would highly recommend them .
I had a dented rim and came in looking to replace it. The staff suggested that they could fix my bent rim, and they did! Less than 10 minutes waiting for my vehicle, and less than $35!
Great customer service, have bought many parts over the years, recently had them replace a transmission in my van and absolutely no problems, got it done faster then I thought they would. Will be returning any time I need a used part.
Called to see if they had what I needed they didn’t with an attitude asked if they know anyone around they hung up on me this places sucks don’t recommend

Batt died, traded for one that was available not exact, but hey it starts and that's what matters. $55 cash with trade or $65 with no trade cash.
Card payments you pay more. Found out and had to walk to the atm to get cash and save that extra.
A1 is great to find parts for your vehicle they're very nice and the prices are very reasonable. I've went there several times and each time I'm treated nicely and it means a lot to be greeted with a smile.
I've been on eBay for 18yrs and I've never been done so wrong by any seller that I purchase anything from but these people are not fit to be on ebay are sell anything to anyone. They sent me a damaged transmission and they knew it. They wanted my mechanic to switch the bad part out knowing it couldn't be done unless I had it taken to a transmission shop. ( Buyer beware) and it cost me extra labor and a rental car for my daughter until I was able to find another transmission. Goggle buyers be careful with these people
They were johnny on the spot with the part problem is it wasn't the right one. It worked enough that I wasn't going through the Hassel of taking it back but know EXACTLY what you need before you go because I'm not so sure they do!
I've had good and bad experiences with this place. Lately they've all been good. I'm not trying to knock it so, you can probably get what you're looking for here.
Knowledgeable, fast, respectable guys. I called asking for a over 30 year old part. The counter guy said his inventory had it but he wanted to double check. Within 5 minutes he called me back with several options. Upon arriving he already had the part at the counter and sent me on my way with a perfect replacement part.
Sold bad parts not once but twice then charge a restocking fee when you return the bad part. They must be friends with the bizzaros bunch of crooks. Considering you made us come in and get the part and wouldn’t let us pay over the phone I would say we “ordered” the right part. Went back for a second one. The second part was bad too. Still had to pay you restocking fee. Crooks and rude.
Not the cleanest place but it's a salvage yard. They are very knowledgeable about every aspect of the automobile and 99% of the time you get the right part. The salvage yards are all pretty much the same on prices so it comes down to the service, quality and availability of the parts. I deal with this type of service regularly and I have to say that I prefer A1 Automotive for this area.
Sold me a battery that was not working and would not service my battery because I didn't have my receipt with the KNOWLEDGE OF THE BATTERY BEING JACKED UP. spoke to the so called manager and she denied to fix the issue with a policy statement when I been shopping there for years! Terrible service but even more terrible that I am never shopping there again. They sell broken, and worn items and won't even correct the issue. EVEN A THRIFT STORE KNOWS IF THEY SOLD YOU SOMETHING BAD YOU GET IT REPLACED NO MATTER RECEIPT OR NOT! HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED
DO NOT RECOMMEND. They sold me a bad transmission that I had professionally installed. I never even touched it, it was verified as a correct replacement by the shop and these guys are refusing to refund.
Do not recommend this place at all! 9 months ago I brought my new car to them for a blown head gasket and paid 1400 for it and now I’m currently shopping for a new car because the head gasket has blown again and it’s pass repair! So it clearly was a half done job! Find a better place and pay more if you have to at least you know it’s done right!
