Heads up, this place is cooking the scales. They said a TV is brought weighed 67 pounds, BS. It costed me almost 50$ to have them take it. There is no way in he'll it should have weighed that much, they are pretty much the only scrap yard that's left and I've known something hasn't been right when it comes to them weighing what you have but I still chose to go there but I'm seriously reconsidering that choice. I strongly recommend that you use extreme caution when going there!

I went to recycle some old electronics. The gentlemen in the garage unloaded everything, and the staff in the office was friendly.

Smooth transaction and pleasant people. Save yourself some frustration and bring your recycling to Lincoln and NOT AIM Recycling. AIM is a lot closer to home so my 84-year old Dad started there. The place was pretty much vacant of any help and the one guy there was so nasty and rude that Dad left. Lincoln allowed him to dispose of a lot of accumulated aluminum cans, were actually pleasant, and paid more per pound than AIM. Lincoln is the picture of a customer-friendly business while AIM is the exact opposite.

The guys at the drop off are always nice and helpful but the prices are terrible and the guy at the cashier desk is super nasty and rude Every Time so definitely never going back here. Not worth your time in my opinion for literally a couple bucks. NY and MD have Awesome programs and payouts!

Dropped off some household scrap metal and three garbage bags full of aluminum cans. Drive your vehicle onto the scale on the south side of the street, then drive around back to unload your scrap, then drive back onto the scale. Cans get weighed in the drive-thru garage on the north side of the street. Then back to the south-side building to get paid. Fairly seamless operation, although there can be quite a wait in line for the drive-thru building. Worth it, though.

What a god awful place to drop off scrap. Zero signs directing you where to go. Crap everywhere driving over glass and sharp metal. Got yelled at by a crane operator and smacked my truck into a concrete block trying not to die turning a trailer around

Been coming here for years and have always been happy. I loaded up 6 containers of scrap to bring here today and they were closed. Unless they decide to re open on Saturdays I’ll have to find somewhere else to take my scrap.

Posting here to thank one of the owners and his family for saving my girlfriend and I from being stranded on a jet ski on lake erie. He and his family towed us in and even gave us a road soda and a lincoln recycling coozie while we waited for pickup. We will use it with pride. Thank you kind stranger, I hope you have the best beach day with your family!

Me and my mom had just cans to recycle and these guys that were helping us kept yelling and shaking there heads at us. Seems like they did not like us at all!

I've been doing some spring cleaning and had a good amount of metal lying around. I loaded up the vehicle and headed to Lincoln Recycling. A nice surprise. You pull onto the scale and an employee with let you know to pull around back to unload. When unloaded, head back to the scale and wait for a ticket. Park your vehicle and head inside with the ticket. If this is your first time there, bring your drivers license in. In a few minutes you ll have a check in hand. Easy peasy. Friendly staff.

A great place for getting rid of scrap metal! Can be a little intimidating the first time you are there, but once you figure out the place the folks are great.

Be careful when call, the person at the front counter is not cordial. Cut.me off before I finished my sentence. No regard for customer service or humanity. Lost all future business.

First time using this recycler in Erie. Great experience. Super helpful staff. Clean environment both in the office and in the yard.

Lincoln recycling is way better than liberty recycling. The crane operators get you in and out and the scale operators help get you moving too. Screw liberty. Lincoln is the better choice.

Everyone was really nice and it's a pretty amazing operation! They take things that you wouldn't expect, like extension cords, power cords, Christmas lights and electronics! They even pay you a small amount for dropping things off. Win win!

Worst metal collection facility I ever experienced. They redirected me 3 times where to dispose of my metal. I had to drive through piles of metal junk and a dirt pathways filled with pieces of scrap metal! The entire time worrying about my van getting a flat tire! If that wasn't bad enough I had to maneuver around two metal cranes with swinging metal magnets looking for the correct pile to unload our scrap! Talk about a safety and liability issue for the public! I was so mad and frustrated with the poor drop-off directions given me and the safety concerns, I left without dropping my scrap- off. I'm staying with Liberty Iron, their drop-off is much more safer and not confusing.

A couple years ago, we at Great Lakes Automation Machining, had a big surge in requirements for chip processing / recycling. Lincoln helped us find several solutions to get us up to speed and has done a great job for us ever since.

I first started scrapping over 30 years ago in Raleigh, NC. Most scrap was $.0024 cents. For you less mathematical that was 1/4 of a penny a pound. I believed then that any money was better than no money! As a school teacher it added to my spending money and I kept at it. One of my students dad owned the scrap yard and he said he would never do that for a living. Today he owns one of the largest scrap yards and pays a reasonable price for scrap, keep a good reputation. Thanks Lincoln for providing the service you do to our community.
