I used the services of Brown's Towing & Repair, Inc. today and I can’t speak highly enough about them!! They were very kind, prompt and professional. They communicated with me every step of the way and made what I thought was going to be a very stressful situation, very easy!!
Blocked the entrance of my job so I was late and refused to move the vehicle out of the drive way till he finished changing someone else's tire could have moved 2 feet and would have been fine but the rude technician would even acknowledge my request while the customer he is helping is straight up telling him to move for me
Well I can tell u that Alan Hanson is the weinch master in in the Erie location he works hard and bust his butt to work for this company even though the run him none stop. I really think the employees should be able to have break and be able to eat when the need to I think there should be a mandatory lunch break
I’ve had a bit of a day, and honestly Allen at Brown’s towing turned it around! I had been on the side of the road in the snow dealing with multiple work problems, but his friendly attitude and kindness made me forget all about it. Absolutely call them if you are in need, they do amazing work and have at minimum 2 exceptional employees (the receptionist at their home office was phenomenal as well!)
I was in an auto accident two weeks ago. Alan Hanson just happened to be there and had the tow truck. He did not hesitate to help me in every way. Though it was a nerve racking experience Alan did everything he could to help me. He is a fine example of what is missing in society today. I can only pray my own son's can be there if need for anyone in the same or any circumstances where they need help. To me he is an angel in disguise. I will never forget him and the help and kindness he showed me!
Lou was my service provider today and was so caring, sympathetic and supportive. My car skidded into a snow bank after slipping on some ice. I had to get towed out. Lou checked to make sure I was safe and okay when he arrived. I am so grateful for his help and generosity. I was able to get through my day because of his kindness to me.
I managed to dig my car into a pit of snow and mud. That turned into a crater of snow, mud, and tears the more I tried to free it. Via AAA one of their technicians saved the day. He was efficient, respectful, and kind. And I learned a valuable lesson about driveway markers and lake effect snow.
After waiting for 3 1/2 hours stuck in a ditch. Alfredo called and arrived when he said he would and quickly pulled me out of the ditch. He was very nice and professional. I’m grateful for his help.

Called Triple A because my car wouldn’t start. Dead battery. Had a service tech - Austin - at my house in about 20 minutes. He jumped my car, tested the battery and had a new battery installed in less than hour. Great friendly service.
John Swartz!!! He is a great person representing "Brown Towing And Repair". I did have some difficulty with AAA and was confusions between to many texts and calls from to many multiple representatives. I was broke down in Allegheny Mountains area very late afternoon. Plus had myself & 2 Amish couples with me all of us from Ohio going home from 2 days shopping in Lancaster areas. John had a long drive to my location added with him being a full time Fire Fighter and a Cheif. He actually was done for his day job but took on my tow. I think he knew I needed help bad considering i was 3+ hrs from home. He came in a very nice well maintained slide back and was very knowledgeable in his trade, courteous and friendly. We had nice conversations about him enjoying working at Brown's and his and mine other adventures in life. HIGHLY RECOMMEND "Brown's Towing And Repair". My savior for the night in Washington PA…I can’t say more than a lot of great things about him! Very friendly, fast and extremely helpful! Made me laugh and kept me calm when an unfortunate issue arose. I thank him so much seriously!! AAA sent this company and I hope they’ll be the ones who will come again if I need them!
A curb jumped out and hit me and blew my tire lol. Louis T got to me quickly put my spare on the other tire that also went flat and towed my car to the shop. He made my horrible morning turn into a funny morning. Thank you Louis and a Browns towing for coming to my rescue.

Went to Erie for some Walleye fishing before we even could put in the water somehow the lock button was hit with the Keys on the seat. We tried to get open for about an hour but to no avail. Called AAA they sent Browns Towing. The driver had it open in less than 60 seconds. On the water got our limit. Thanks Browns

We had a tire blow on our truck while traveling on the i90. Don from Browns towing and repair came out. Was unable to get spare to drop down and it was flat and iffy. We decided we needed a tow and Don called for the tow truck and called around and found a tire shop with the size we needed. Patrick came out and loaded the truck and delivered us to tire shop. Each time was only a wait time of approximately 20 minutes. Both guys were super helpful and professional. This was a trip A call, and they were great to deal with. Thank you Don and Patrick!!
If you have AAA in Erie then Brown's will take care of your roadside assistance needs. Had a dead battery and the technician sent out today was phenomenal. She had a wealth of knowledge outside of just the battery, did a great job, and had stellar customer service. Thank you Brown's!
Brown's Towing has helped with a dead battery. I had an issue with two other auto places pointing fingers at each other as to who stripped a necessary cap that needs to be removed to do an oil change. I set the matter before Brown's to help figure out the most likely case scenario. The upshot is: Brown's owner was very patient and helpful, respectful, and knowledgeable. He was also able to recommend a reputable auto repair business. Many thanks to Brown's Towing!
Locked myself out of both my car and apartment. They were able to get some over quickly and they were able to get in the car even faster. I had a technician named Terri and she was very nice and friendly. Overall turned a bad experience of being locked out and made it much better. Very happy with the results
Today makes 2 times that my vehicle has needed to be towed. My vehicle is having mechanical problems. The gentleman that towed my vehicle the first time went above and beyond this afternoon. His name is Shawn. He pulled over with a vehicle already on his truck to get me out of the intersection. Then he was dispatched to tow my vehicle where it needed to be. I wish I could recommend employee of the month because Shawn surely and without a doubt, deserves it for the month of April. Thank you!
Started having problems with our antique car and was unable to drive it home. Mike picked us up and delivered us safely home. I was impressed by how friendly he was and how well he treated the car. Excellent job!!
I have used Browns twice in 2 days. My first encounter was with John. I was stranded alone with my special needs son and two flat tires. John arrived within 10 minutes far exceeding the expectations of the hour wait time I was given. He was friendly, informative, and over all comforting in a situation less than comfortable. He made sure we had a plan after he left as well. He offered to take us to the garage we were towing too so we could at least sit in the car while we waited for a ride. I assured him my ride was on their way and he kindly suggested we wait up by the store versus the outskirts of the parking lot.
My second encounter was with Mike this morning! He too exceeded expectations arriving more than a half hour early. He was coming to pick up the car from the shop that was less than pleasant to deal with. I was actually taking my disabled vehicle else where. Mike spent the time to answer any questions and explain things. He was friendly and brought a sense of humor with him! I greatly appreciated it as tensions were high. I will use and recommend Browns to anyone for any future needs.

My friend and I were on our way out to Sturgis on our motorcycles and mine unfortunately broke down just off the highway. I quickly called AAA and they sent Brown’s towing service out within 20 minutes of my call. I couldn’t be happier with the service the Browns gave me and Karl Is one of the friendliest drivers I have ever met. He even gave me a ride from the dealer that we drop the motorcycle off at the hotel that I’m staying in for the night I highly recommend Brown’s towing

Had a blowout from hitting a curb. Jeep Cherokee Latitude. AAA Sent Christian and had the dummy on in no time! Even checked the air in the dummy, and I made it safely home, about 20 miles. Great service, awesome attitude.
