Jakes auto took did the worst job ever and ripped me off! I had a bad coolant leak, a half gallon every 3 days. They told me i needed a radiator, I paid them 500 bucks,even though it didn't appear to be leaking from that area.......it's still continued to leak the same amount from the same spot. Then they charged me 250 for a water pump. After that I started pouring coolant from a hose they put on wrong..... that was my 3rd visit in under 2 weeks to fix there bad work......I drove it to wv and guess what it's poring coolant again! They are terrible mechanics and rip offs. 3 trips two major parts and still loosing coolant from the same area it started in. I have been living in my chevy van with dog for 4 years, rock climbing and sky diving. Before that i lived in the valley for 2 years and qorked at m.i. windows and doors. I visit loved ones every holiday season. They have made me miss an interview in nevada for work. And worse yet seems they may have messed my van up worse than when I brought it in. This usnt just my vehicle it's my home. I'm so shocked and hurt someone could take such advantage of so.eone in such a vulnerable situation. Either through ignorance, or greed, or both. Wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy!
First time coming here, new to the area. Got my inspection done, nice guy, friendly, he was able to get my car in before my inspection ran out. Will be back for my future car needs!
Thank you for changing the tires on my car! My dad had tires shipped in and even though there was a little bit of miscommunication on our end, they got everything done! Just moved to the area, but I’ll always be using you guys in the future.
Corey, who bought the place from the namesake, is the kind of mechanic you hope to find when you are new to an area. I have used him for 17 years, and he has been honest, does great work, and never once have I had any sense of him trying to pull one over on me. When one of his apprentices has made a mistake in the past he always makes it right, and that has only been once in 17 years of maintaining our three vehicles. Highly recommend. He is busy so plan on a week or two before you can get in, but he is well worth it.
They are always such a pleasure to deal with. They don’t try to haggle us for more money, and are always honest with us. They work on what they need to work on and that’s it, they don’t list a million other things that are supposedly wrong with our vehicle like other shops do. We drive over 40 minutes for them to work on our vehicles, we don’t plan on using anyone else.

I was working in Millersburg and I thought my car needed an "emergency oil change". I called Jake's first thing in the morning. They told me to come right over and then gave me a loaner car to drive back to work! I appreciate how they made the process so convenient for me!
Great place. Like stepping back into time compared to your fancy-shmancy dealers. Car service the way it used to be. Granted, it may not have some of the tech needed for detail engine work and all the sensors and computer chips or your non-American cars. But for your meat and potatoes, and normal wear and tear stuff, this is a nostalgic alternative. Plus, you never know what you're going to see sitting around.
Great service, wil only fix what's needed and will tell you what needs done before he does. Has loaner vehicle if you need to have a car while yours is getting fixed. Nice waiting area and toys there for kids as well.
For three years a Chevrolet dealership could not fix my car. Three trips for inspection $200.00 dollars a trip but never fixed.
Finally Jake's Auto fixed it for $100.00 plus tax. All my cars will get inspected there
