Callen Kinback is a great place to take your vehicle, regardless of what you need done! Mike, the manager, is a really great guy and he is incredibly transparent. Unlike other mechanics, Mike doesn’t try to upsell you or “scare you” into getting additional maintenance on your vehicle. He’ll shoot you straight and is very accommodating! I started taking my SUV here when I needed a last-minute tow and was looking for AAA mechanics near me to tow it to. That was four years ago and I will not go anywhere else. These guys never oversell, they have fit me in last minute multiple times when there were serious issues with my car, and they are always great at explaining what is going on. They are polite and courteous. I won’t go anywhere else.

My first time at this biz, I had a new timing belt installed on my 16yo car and am pleased with the work. The cost was reasonable plus I used a service discount coupon to save a bit. They had good customer communication via email and the staff and mechanic I had were very good. I will be returning for more work in the future.

My family has been going to Callen Kinback for years, and they have always been very professional and reasonable in their pricing on all work done on our cars. I always recommend them for anyone’s car service needs. I also had purchased, a few years ago, 4 new tires from them and using my Goodyear card, I received the maximum off.

They inspected our car and told us we needed a few repairs to pass, including 2 new tires. They did not have the ones needed for our car, so they called around to find them and had them delivered so we wouldn't have to come back. Very good service!

Callen Kinback is our preferred spot for car maintenance. The staff is straight to the point and doesn’t try to charge for unnecessary things. We definitely trust them and that’s hard to come by these days.

Such a great shop!! Had awful experience this morning at sonys autoshop in harrisburg that ripped me off 40 bucks for them to do nothing just for having made the appt and still didn't do the alignment I asked for and tried to charge 160 for one freaking tire, so I was super stressed and upset and they worked me in today did the alignment like I asked and was so great and honest about my tires. The woman who answers the phone was very nice too!! Cant thank them enough for today!!! Hands down best shop I think I have been too!! Mike was super patient and helpful about everything!!

By far the most honest shop around! Had a car that "needed a new transmission" according to 3 other local shops - turns out the car was completely out of transmission fluid and that was the only issue... Will definitely be going here from now on and recommending to everyone I know.

I went to Callen Kinback because my son and his friend recommended it. I was finally able to get an appointment for today, so I had my car towed early in the morning (I did not want to risk driving it with the moaning and battery light on and then it stops when the car goes on the railroad tracks!). I was told that they would contact me by phone at some point. I got a call at around 2 p.m. and yes, it was the alternator that was the problem. I was quoted a price (very reasonable!) and asked if leaving the car there was an option. I said yes, since I really didn't have to have them finish it at once if they were fully booked. I could easily pick it up a day or two after. I was pleasantly surprised when I got a call from Sam telling me that my car was ready (that was around 4:30 p.m.) so, since I was at a nearby shopping center, I walked to the shop. I also scheduled a battery change, since my car is going into four years two months from now (it had a battery when I bought it nearly four years ago). Reasonable price and same day service was more than what I expected. I am happy that I now have service closer to home. Thank you very much, Callen Kinback Inc.!

I needed a fan for my Nissan. They diagnosed the problem and located an after market part at my request. After installing the fan, a fuse blew and it took them a day to figure out what happened. In the meantime, they were helpful and honest about it. Plus they didn't charge me for the extra labor needed to figure out the fuse problem.

This place is great. They are straight forward, priced reasonably and truly take care of regular customers. As a female going in alone, I never feel like they are trying to get one over on me. Highly recommend.

I rarely write reviews, but felt compelled to do so in this case since I based my selection of this company on their relatively high Google score. I went in for a set of tires on a newer car and found that the technician had noticeably scratched the finish on two wheels. The store manager rudely and flatly denied they damaged the wheels. I'd suggest spending your money at a more reputable and qualified tire shop.

I had problems with new Goodyear tires bought at NTB and didn't want to go back them given how poor their installation was. I went to Callen Kinback, a Goodyear dealer, and I was pleasantly surprised at how professional, friendly and helpful they were, given that I bought my tires elsewhere. I waited for my car and could hear them fielding phone calls and despite being busy, were always polite and patient with the callers. The waiting area is much cleaner and comfortable than any tire store I have been to by the way. They found a defective tire (along with badly installed weights) and resolved it through Goodyear, when most places would have sent me back to NTB. I also found out I could have gotten the tires over $100.00 less at Callen Kinback. The charges for fixing my situation were absolutely minimal. Again, this is how they treated someone who bought tires somewhere else. Top ratings and recommendations for this store.

My friends turned me onto this place. Sam knows the twins very well. Pleasing them is not an easy task. They accommodated my needs and worked within my budget. I'm a single woman who's long time trusted mechanic retired, looking for a new car garage has caused some anxiety single ladies can relate : ) several friends and AAA have recommended Callen Kinback and I was not disappointed! I have found my new garage ,very nice people and affordable. You can't beat Quality and good service.

Good local shop. They take the time to explain what they are doing and give you options to save you money. Very good at working you in on short notice too. All the guys are friendly and helpful. Nice that they have a waiting area as well because many local shops don't.
