Every now and then I’m awestruck by someone who is just absolutely incredible at their job. Last Friday in Centerville, I had this exact experience with Tyler of Shambaugh’s Towing.
I made the mistake of getting my vehicle stuck in the mud, and when Tyler arrived on the scene, his confidence put me instantly at ease. He understood how important my vehicle is to me and explained step by step exactly how he was going to get my van unstuck.
Tyler didn’t just provide a service, he provided hospitality I never would have expected from a towing company. I hope I never get stuck again, obviously, but if I do, I hope Tyler is around.
Albert is wonderful! I was on my way to Pitt for my daughter when my battery light came on. I stopped and Albert made some phone calls and got my alternator fixed in record time. Thank you!!
My car battery died twice within the last few months. Both times, the young man working for Shambaugh's, Caleb, was very professional and friendly. He arrived quickly, and got my car started for me right away - recommending that I get a new battery this last time, (done!). Would definitely recommend Shambaugh's Towing.

My wife and I needed a tow truck in Pleasantville and the people at Shambaugh Towing were so helpful! Caleb was the tech that worked the job. He really knew what he was doing and got us un stuck quick. We were very impressed with the great service that Caleb provided, and we are very grateful to the very kind people that took our call and got Caleb to us quick. I'd highly recommend Shambaugh Towing if you need a tow truck or a winch in Titusville or Corry. Shambaugh Towing is the best!!!

The mechanic, Albert, at Shambaugh’s was very straight forward and thorough when checking my car out, fixing what needed to be fixed, and very reasonable rates. Highly recommend him!! He explained everything I asked about! Definitely will be coming back for any future car repairs needed!
I broke down in Cochranton when I needed towing. I called Shambaughs and Kim had a driver available. They were compassionate and has fast service. They were out in 30 minutes. Caleb, the driver, took care of our truck and got it back to our house safely. Thank You Sambaugh's you guys are the best. I would highly recommend them.
I called Enterprise to get my box work truck towed. I was told to expect a 60-90 minute ETA. I waited the hour and a half and called Shambaugh to see what was going on. They claimed to have no order for the tow. Contacted Enterprise and was told that the company could no longer do the job. A little communication goes a LONG way, don’t expect that from this company. They seem to pick and choose which jobs they want to complete and have absolutely no problem with leaving someone stranded. Another company was there very quick! Thanks for nothing!!!
Our 2016 ford explorer blew a belt. The tow truck driver was extremely professional his ETA was spot on an he was very friendly. Thank you for saving us in this emergency.

Can’t say the same for the receptionist I spoke to when I first called but the service itself was tops.
Towed my vehicle on Saturday and refused to release my vehicle or property till Monday at 830. Not only did I not have my vehicle all weekend, I had to call off work and they charged me for Saturday, Sunday and Monday. They acted like they were doing me a favor for not charging me the "afterhours fee" of $400. My fee to get my property back was $388. that's $788 to tow from union City to Corry on a weekend. When I said it was ridiculous I was threatened to pay $1500 in new made up fees or never get my car back. even the police offer I called asked them to release my vehicle on Saturday and they said we are not open. You were open enough to take my car and charge me but not open enough to give it back?
George was able to install my spare tire after I got a flat tire while on vacation. He was efficient and polite. I was told by AAA, it would be 1 hour to 1.5 hours. George showed up in 20 minutes.
Shambaugh towing is absolutely AMAZING! In all honesty we've had to utilize their services 3 times in the past week. We've been towed 2 times. And sadly we've had to call them for our keys being locked inside our vehicle. So they are your forever lifesavers. Thankfully we've got AAA also on our side. However we're forever grateful for Shambaugh towing and how quickly they've got to us every time! ☆☆☆☆☆
Was in an accident in 2015 and they charged my insurance $300 to tow a car 3 miles to their garage. I told them to tow it to my work which was 100 feet away. They also charged a cleanup fee which they didn't do. I also found out they charged the other person in the wreck $300 to tow their car to the same place on a 2 car tow truck.
When I went to pull the stuff from my car like I was told to do by the insurance adjuster, the girl in office got irrate because I removed my expensive
stereo system from the car.
Poor people skills and very snooty people. Would never use them again!
Ive needed to use shambaughs services a few times. They've always answered my call promptly and sent someone very quickly...their fees are so reasonable that I really can't even get mad at myself for locking the keys in the car...lol. Always professional and friendly. Great group they have there.
AAA sent Shambaugh Towing to our rescue a few years ago when another vehicle struck ours and left it unable to be driven. Shambaugh is hands down THE best towing company we have ever dealt with. The dispatcher called us immediately, and the driver showed up when the dispatcher said he would, which was within minutes! The driver was very pleasant, professional and friendly, even despite having been on call that night and having to leave his family to help us. He knew exactly what he was doing and where he was going. I can’t tell you how many times we have had other towing companies send trucks that had mechanical issues, no heat, or where the cabs were filthy; but Shambaugh’s truck was very well maintained, clean and comfortable for the 40 minute ride we had back to Meadville! It’s very evident that Shambaugh Towing takes pride in what they do and they do it well! If we are ever in need of towing services again, we’ll definitely be requesting Shambaugh Towing first.
Great service by the Shambaugh employee, John. He arrived quickly and delivered service with courtesy, pulling my vehicle out after getting stuck in deep snow. I wasn't sure if they'd be able to reach the car from the main road, but he did it very efficiently and I was back on the road. Thank you.
We have them service our fleet. The work is done in a very timely manner and is faithfully complete. They also Tow and Recover our larger trucks with no addition damages and again in a very timely manner. great to work with.
Within 4 days I had to get my car towed twice. Both times the staff was amazing and extremely efficient. I have dealt with other tow companies before and Shambaugh is by far the best.
In the very late evening hours we called AAA and AAA called Shambaugh Towing. We could not have asked for a better towing company to work with. The truck showed up quickly and the attendant was a great guy! When he found out that we had lost a tire right off of our truck he even took a second to make sure we were all OK. I would suggest these folks to anyone in need!
I have not used this company personally. However, I do know of a couple people who have used their service, including family members. Now these family members aren't too tech smart so I told them I would leave a feedback for them. Broken down on a back country road and didn't know what was wrong. Called AAA and in a short time a very courteous and kind gentleman was there addressed my concerns, hooked up and delivered my vehicle in a professional manner to the garage of my choice. Unfortunately it wasn't his garage but when I went to the Shambaugh Towing to pay my bill I did notice the repair shop was in order and the guy working was very efficient. The staff on duty in the office was courteous and answered all my questions. I would recommend them to anybody who asked.
