Buck is amazing! There was a noise from from under my car because something was dragging on the road. He took the car in on short notice. I waited for about 15-20 mins and he came back and told me he fixed it. I asked him how much it was and he said NOTHING. Absolutely amazing!! Too nice. I made a gift basket for him and took it to him a few days later. Very nice and honest man!! I really appreciate him and Good's Automotive Service! Would recommend!

Buck was phenomenal and took excellent care of me. I'm from out of the area and was staying at a nearby hotel with a truck that wouldn't start. He allowed me to have the truck towed there right away and had it repaired by the next day when I was ready to depart. Thank you Buck for being so kind and gracious and providing excellent customer service.

Goods is amazing! Buck is super helpful and they were beyond amazing getting my car in at the last minute before a cross country move/road trip. We have taken both cars here several times and they always do great work - very timely and prices seem reasonable. By far the best place in Hershey! Highly recommend.

I have been going to Goods Auto for a few years. They are the best. As a single woman, they don't talk down to me or over charge. I will never go anywhere else. Plus I can always get an appointment very quick.

It’s a fine enough shop, but the biggest issue though is that they don’t have any seating. They direct you to wait at the nearby Giant. My car inspection took over 2 hours and I was waiting at Giant the entire time, even though I was there as they opened. They should structure their schedule with appointment times so that their estimates for wait times are more accurate. They also really should buy a few chairs for customers.

If I could do less than one star I would. Not only did they destroy my car’s engine, they were. extremely cavalier about it. They left the oil cap off after a major service, and refused to take responsibility, for it. It ended up costing me $6000 to replace my permanently damaged engine. The work is shoddy, and Goods automotive is careless.

What a truly exceptional group of individuals! They not only skillfully repaired my tire, but they also displayed an extraordinary level of generosity by waiving any charges. Moreover, they kindly requested that I pay this act of kindness forward to another deserving individual. God bless!

My parents car needed immediate attention our very first day of a 3 day vacation and Buck was extremely responsive, accommodating, honest, resourceful and knowledgeable throughout the whole process, which made a very stressful situation manageable. The car was fixed by the following day and my dad felt comfortable driving the 200 miles back home with his family in it 2 days later. In my dad's words "exceptional customer service." I don't ever wish car trouble upon anyone, but if in need in the Hershey area, I'd highly recommend this shop!!

My wife had a breakdown while traveling, and Buck and the rest of the gang at Good's really helped us out of a jam. They were able to squeeze us in on the same day we called despite already having a full workload. They were fair in their pricing and went the extra mile to take care of us. Their supplier also went above and beyond and drove 50 miles out of their way to get us a replacement part that was more affordable. I can't say enough good things Good's Automotive!

I had a nail stuck in my tire and found it right before on my way back home to NYC. Didnt want to take chance with my life. Called up a couple of places, and none of them could squeeze me in unfortunately. But Buck at Good's auto service kindly took me in and fixed my tire right on the spot. The best thing, he wouldn't charge me at all (I still gave him a tip, of course). I am very thankful for their awesome service and generosity. Highly, highly recommend them!

Love these guys! Top notch service and work! We take all our vehicles for their regular maintenance services, and for inspection/emissions. We haven’t had a lot of problems except for normal things that wear out like brakes because they take excellent care and pride in their work to keep your car going.

Took my car to Good's for oil change and tire rotation and asked them to also check the brakes because the car was shaking on a hard stop from high speed. They corrected the brake problem which was under warranty. They really take care of their customers and stand behind their work. I would highly recommend them.

I have been using Good’s for years and I couldn’t be happier to recommend them to anyone. I haven’t had a bad experience with them in over 15 years. Buck is always fantastic to work with as the front man, but the guys in the shop do superior work ever time. This is the kind of auto mechanic that everyone is looking for because if it ain’t broke, they don’t try to tell you that it is and then soak you for a huge repair bill.

Friendly, honest, and skilled service. While checking a problem tire, they identified that all four of the valve stems were corroded and leaky. They were able to repair the stems while miraculously preserving the original TPMS sensors. Even if they had been unable to pull this off, I still would have been pleased that they went the extra mile to uncover the root cause and be transparent about the repair options and associated costs. It is clear that their goal is to ensure the vehicle is in the best working order reasonable, and for a fair price. As long as I'm in the Hershey area, Good's Automotive Service will remain my first choice for repairs and inspections. As an aside, I hope the benefit for Children's Miracle Network on Sep. 25th is a great success, I'll continue passing the info along!

I was about 40 minutes from my home, after an appointment at Hershey Medical Center when a pipe from my exhaust fell off and was dragging on the road. A gentleman near where my car was pulled to the side of the road, suggested I try this very close by shop. These guys wired up my exhaust pipe so I could make it home in time for work! They refused to allow me to pay them. These mechanics taking time out of their busy day to get me on my way home was a blessing and I would recommend anyone to their garage, because kindness speaks volumes!

We are from out of town and had an emergency with our vehicle while our daughter was at Hershey Childrens Hospital. They were completely booked but managed to slide us in and fix our vehicle. The prices were more than reasonable. They were honest and absolutely amazing. So happy with the service. If we could give them more than 5 stars we would!!

Used to be my regular place. Not anymore, as their mechanics have a serious lack of integrity. Their mechanics damaged my car in the process of servicing it and hoped I would drive off before noticing. Took my car in to have the brake line changed, when I picked it up my rear view mirror was sitting in my passenger seat. What the heck does that have to do with the brake lines? They didn't even tell me. I had to go ask them, only to receive a lie about it having been "hanging there, therefore it was unsafe". It wasn't hanging...I drove it there! Only when I persisted did they agree to use a makeshift solution to stick it back on the windshield. Avoid at all costs, or until they grow up and admit their mistake. EDIT: You're correct, you don't have my name listed as a customer. Because I didn't pay for the 'repair', a family member did. It's very clear to me now that you're just looking for a way to get out of this bad review. What an astonishing lack of character.

Talked to Buck and he was extremely kind, honest, upfront and genuine. Had an amazing experience here as he diagnosed the issue with my truck that other mechanics had looked over and made sure that the issue was properly recognized and handled. I have been looking for a good mechanic for a while and I know that I have found one in Good’s. The team is professional and demonstrates clear expertise while displaying full transparency. The prices are very fair. I plan on taking all of my vehicles to Good’s from now on! Thank you!

Awesome garage and wonderful staff. Buck is so personable and always a joy to talk to. The guys have always been professional and get the work done quickly with no issues. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a garage in the Hershey area.

I needed to get my inspection done and couldn't make arrangements to drop the care off so they found a day/time where I could wait. They got my car in right on time and moved quickly. They found that my insurance card was expired so they took it upon themselves to call my insurance company and have them fax the new copy to them and they put it in my glove box for me. Completely accommodating, fast, and courteous. I will absolutely call upon them again.

Good's Auto has always been trustworthy and reliable. They've been taking good care of my very old car and making it run very well. Their prices are reasonable when compared to some other places, and the best part is they won't make you pay for services your car does not really need! Highly recommend!

Good's reviewed my car (which I had dropped off for the day) in the first hour or so after they opened. They made accurate assessments of the problems I was having (after only giving them a "it's making a weird noise" and "it shimmies a little at high speed" type explanations), and then they had it completely fixed and inspected promptly. After reviewing the bill, it was apparent they were careful with the estimate and total costs were very fair. The car runs great now and I would definitely recommend their services!

ABOVE AND BEYOND! I've lived in several states in recent years, and it may surprise no one that PA is the most bureaucratic. Long story short, cut to my arriving at Good's for my first annual renewal inspection in PA with half of what they needed from me to complete my overdue inspection. Visions of long DOT lines and missed work hours began dancing through my head...I was PANICKED! Well, Good's took care of EVERYTHING! It was, seriously, above and beyond. Trust that these guys are not making money off car inspections, and they are busy with other customers (there were four others in there just while I was getting inspected). The desk manager (sorry, I didn't catch his name) went online for me to update my expired registration AND called my insurance company to have my affidavit faxed over. In all of my years as a car owner, I have NEVER known a company to provide this kind of service, big or small, rural or city! I came to Good's on the recommendation of a colleague when I moved to PA and they have my business for as long as I remain here! I HIGHLY recommend Good's Automotive in Hershey!

We had car trouble while on a visit to Hershey park. We called Good's Automotive, within minutes they we're there assessing the problem. They got my car into the shop and in less than hour we we're on the road again. Good's personnel we're friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I would certainly recommend giving them a call for your automotive needs.

Good's Automotive has serviced the cars in our family for three generations. They deliver quality service at reasonable cost. Matt and his expert team of technicians have always come through in a pinch as well as scheduled maintenance. As long as Good's is open, the tradition will continue for us and future generations. We highly recommend!

A couple of years ago I went to Good's to get my car inspected for safety and emissions and also have struts installed. I was initially told that they would not look at my car because the hood second latch was not engaging (first safety latch worked fine though). It was an aftermarket hood with hood pins holding it down, and this was not a problem the previous 2 years it was inspected. I adjusted the latch and went back to resume the inspection. I was told this time that the carbon "catch can" part of the exhaust system was missing. Again, the car was running fine and this was never mentioned by anyone the previous 3 or 4 years that I had the car and had emissions inspections. At this point I should have walked away but I was in a time pinch to get inspection completed. After having to explain to them that there's no way that a piece of the exhaust system could have gone missing, they resumed inspection. I was told that I needed to have both ball joints replaced as well as inner tie rods. They also told me that I could not get the car inspected because the differential mount bushings (front and rear) were shot. This is an absurd claim because not once have I ever heard of differential mounts being a safety concern. Turns out the front bushings were worn (but not to the point of being dangerous) but the rear was completely fine. The rear bushings were a discontinued part and couldn't be replaced. I had them do the suspension work and install the struts that I provided. Two weeks later I began to hear a terrible grinding and popping noise coming from the driver side suspension. I ended up having to pay another garage (i had begun the college semester elsewhere) two times to narrow down the problem. It turns out that Good's had completely neglected to grease the ball joints that were installed (incredibly dumb mistake). Since these parts were replaced they were not suspect to make the noise. They had also seated the springs improperly after installing the struts. Of course when I went in to talk with the manager he was not there and I was told I'd get a call back. I didn't get any call back and decided it wasn't worth my time to deal with these idiots. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. These are inexperienced mechanics who seem to be especially afraid to work on cars with any type of modifications. They made up excuses for reasons not to inspect my car and proved their inexperience. I probably lost about 400-500 dollars just diagnosing and fixing the problems they caused and wasted a lot of time in the process.
