I cannot say enough good things about this towing company. We were stranded on I-81 in a snowstorm several hours from home with our small kids in the car, and it was one of the most stressful situations we’ve ever experienced. The visibility was low and the temperature was dropping.
From the moment we spoke, they were calm and incredibly professional. The dispatcher was reassuring and helpful. The driver arrived faster than we expected given the weather conditions. He was not only skilled and efficient, but also genuinely kind and compassionate. He made sure our kids were warm and safe.
In a moment where we felt completely helpless, they showed up and took care of everything. The entire process was smooth, the pricing was fair, and the service went above and beyond what we expected — especially during such dangerous weather.

My son’s car broke down off of RT 81 and Kaufman towing took great care of him. They were prompt in their arrival, kept in contact with him about their timing and delivered the car to a local dealer with great care. All this in a frigid January Friday night. Many thanks to them and highly recommend

These guys were awesome my baby sister was on her way to Vermont from south Carolina and she had a blow out in Pennsylvania and had no working cell service took care of her great even found a new tire for free and put it on to make sure she got all the way to VT safely

We are from out of state and they were only ones willing to come get us on a Saturday and made calls to multiple places on our behalf trying to find someone to fix it same day, which was so nice. Great company.
They went out of the way to help me when my vehicle blew its engine on a Sunday. I still had 500 more miles to go to get home and I am not sure what I would have done without there help
The owner of this shop is a great guy he took care of a bad situation and turned it into a good one and didn't make me wait anymore I would highly recommend this company to tow any kinda vehicle very safe and will make things right. Great job thank you
I cannot say enough great things about Kaufman’s Towing Co. The lady (I wish I could remember her name) from KT kept me informed the entire time via phone. She even called me back @ 1 pt to be sure I was safe & able to get an Uber (it was a remote area). She truly was the highlight of my day-thank you! They picked up my car@ the time they gave me & delivered it promptly 1 hr away @ the VW dealership.

Absolutely amazing customer service,, had a chance to deal with them yesterday thru Benz roadside assistance, Michelle was absolutely on point, very attentive, polite and extremely efficient, Michelle helped me for the entire day as my car was working on and off and since I was away in a function, I could not get the car towed right away, Mitchell was there for the entire process. I couldn’t thank you more Michelle. We need more and more businesses and employees or owners like Michelle as the good old customer service is vanishing away from the most businesses. I needed to use my Erie insurance roadside assistance last night for a flat tire. Bret from Kaufman's Towing was dispatched and he provided exceptional service! I had the vehicle towed to my regular mechanic and was offered a ride in the truck. Personable and professional. I would easily recommend their service to anyone.

He had to tow my ‘88 f250 long bed home for me after the electronics failed mid drive. Got quoted over 2 hours from another company who was local that my insurance company assigned to me. Got reassigned to Kaufman towing and they were to me in 10 minutes!

Top Notch! Kaufman towing A++ in every aspect. So accommodating, I had issues with my car and had to have it towed 3 times. Michelle answers the phone 24/7, never got voice mail. The first time I needed them immediately and they were there. This last time I didn't need immediate service but Michelle was able to add me to the schedule the same day on a return trip from another tow and even passed on the savings to me with a discount because their tow truck would not come all the way home empty! Michelle is so nice and professional with the paperwork and Kris keeps their equipment well maintained and looking good, I could tell the drivers are experienced and they handle your vehicle with care seeing it safely to its destination! I highly recommend Kaufman Towing with all my ♥️
Driver was professional, courteous and prompt. The dispatcher verified information and corrected details that resulted from a problem with the app I used to request a tow. They use GPS to update driver's location so you can see on a map where they are and how long it will take them to reach you. Highly recommend.

Chris and Brett did a fantastic job towing my family and I from PA to MD. Customer service from beginning to end was exceptional. They went above and beyond the call of duty to make the trip as pleasant as possible (both had wonderful personalities). They even made our ten-year-old daughter burst out in laughter, at one point. Chris and Brett sincerely care about helping out those in need. They were efficient, compassionate, expedient, punctual and jovial. We highly recommend their services, they are truly the best!
