After multiple losses and months of walking through grief with no answers, I came to this clinic carrying more fear than hope. From the very first visit, something felt different. I didn’t want to have to leave this review, but unfortunately the disappointment in the billing department is next level. I will start by saying Staff, Nurses, Dr.Martin are wonderful. While I didn’t get the outcome I hoped for, they are not the issue.
PLEASE BE WARNED that when you are starting that you fully understand what you will be charged. My financial advisor did not adequately explain what I would be charged. I was under the impression I would be paying my standard copay each visit and that was it. She never explained a whole separate copay for labs and ultrasounds that I would be charged each visit. They should be calling you on the phone explaining you will be charged THIS AND THIS. Even a rough estimate of what each visit would cost. I went an ENTIRE year with not one bill. Nothing. A balance of zero. The last few months of treatment different amounts were being taken every time I visited. I kept reminding them what my copay was and that’s what needed to be taken. They couldn’t explain why they were taking the amount they were. A week before Christmas, after an entire year of not one bill, I was slammed with an astronomical bill and told until it’s paid I cannot be seen. My local office “had no idea where it came from” which is a problem in itself. The billing department had “no clue” and was passed to multiple people until someone realized what had happened and why I was never billed for a year. I don’t know how morally you can do that to someone. To send them a 20 page packet and say oh wait you owe all of this, after never getting a bill for a year. Unfortunately, it shows it’s just about getting paid and money, not the patient.
Another issue, they will take from your balance if you leave a card on file. The catch is, to pre register before each appointment you’re told you need to put a card on file. You’re now allowing them to make withdrawals towards your balance if you have one. So I caught on that each visit, I had to put a card on file to be seen but then request to have it TAKEN OFF file each visit so the cannot charge you. So be aware of that.
I was told I was financially cleared for my last cycle and again that was not communicated to billing and they took hundreds and hundreds of dollars out. Thankfully after back and forth for a week that was refunded. This has been nothing but an absolute headache the last month after a year of heartbreak and dissapointment. Billing should be held accountable.
Everyone at this clinic is amazing. So nice, so supportive, so knowledgeable. We successfully had our IVF baby through them and plan to use them if we choose to have another. I had an issue with the billing department and, though there was a hiccup in getting it fixed, they resolved it and made it 100% right. These guys are awesome and I highly recommend them.
After losses, my husband and I decided to see Dr. Martin for some answers. From our first consultation, he was thorough and empathetic, validating our search for more answers. His team is fantastic. His nurse practitioner, Christine was also very compassionate and made the process easier. After testing, Dr. Martin gave all of our options and spent the time discussing each option. Although we did not pursue any treatment at this time, his team supported us through our journey and has given us the confidence and support that we needed after loss. I have no doubt they are a phenomenal team to receive any treatment. Highly recommend!
Our experience has been wonderful. We’ve learned firsthand that standard OB care simply doesn’t compare to the level of support and expertise we received here. I would absolutely recommend this team. Infertility comes with so many unknowns, but Dr. Martin made the entire family‑planning process feel far less overwhelming. Thanks to their guidance, we were able to move forward with confidence—and ultimately, we were successful.
The infertility journey comes with many unknowns, but choosing SGF was one of the easiest decisions we made. After our first consultation with Dr. Martin, my husband and I felt confident that SGF was the right place for us. Dr. Martin set clear, realistic expectations while remaining encouraging and optimistic.
Despite the many appointments, I never felt like just a number. Pat at the front desk always welcomed me warmly and knew who I was before I even checked in. My nurse, Danielle, consistently supported me through both the exciting moments and the difficult ones. Emily was a bright start to each morning, making bloodwork feel a little easier with her kindness. Christine, the CRNP I was lucky enough to work with, was exceptional—patient, compassionate, and always willing to give me the time and space I needed, especially on the hardest days.
At our second meeting, Dr. Martin told us that while he couldn’t predict how long the process would take, he was confident he could help us. Today, we’re grateful to say that he was right.
Our family is deeply thankful for the entire SGF Warrington team. If you’re considering a consultation, I wholeheartedly recommend taking that step.
Overall great experience. I have no complaints about the Warrington location and the staff. Dr Martin is one of the best doctors with great bedside manner that I’ve met. He was so attentive, kind, and professional. I also had a great experience with Christine the PA. She was also so knowledgable and amazing throughout the whole process. Lindsay and Alicia are such great nurses who take the time to care for you and explain procedures. I never had an issue contacting them or getting answers for questions. The front desk was also always so welcoming and sweet.
The only complaint I have is NOT for this office. It is about the billing process for Shady Grove. They have you pay ahead of time for procedures like IUI, but if anything happens and that procedure cannot be carried out, trying to get your money back is very difficult. Just something to be aware of as it seemed kind of grimy especially for people tight on money because of pricey fertility treatments.
We had such an awesome experience here! Everyone is so personable, which is important, but they also know what they’re doing! The communication throughout the process was consistent and transparent. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
I love the SGF team at Warrington! They are always so welcoming and kind. They really do treat you like family. Dr. Martin and his entire office staff make the process so easy and help in making a stressful situation so much easier. They are just so supportive from the beginning to graduation day and beyond- I can’t say enough good things about them. Dr. Martin himself, along with the front desk & treatment/nursing staff, were lovely to work with. They were very helpful in explaining the process, and what each step would entail. However, we had an incorrect review of insurance/coverage, and moved forward with treatment based on the (incorrect) advice that we had IVF coverage. After finding out that we actually did not, SGF was not helpful or accountable for the fact that they had misguided our previous steps. It has been over a year since my last appointment, and I am still tracking down a significant refund due back to us from the billing department. Our experience with SGF unfortunately added more emotions and disappointment in our fertility journey.
I can’t say enough wonderful things about Shady Grove and Dr. Martin! From our very first consultation, we felt supported, respected, and truly cared for. The doctors, nurses, and support staff were incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and patient throughout our journey.
Every step of the process was clearly explained, and they made what could have been an overwhelming and emotional experience feel manageable and full of hope. Bitter sweet that I’ve graduated from SGF because I truly enjoyed every visit at the Warrington office. The people at SGF will become your friends. Unfortunately, there will be days you walk into the office knowing a treatment wasn’t successful but being there with staff who are wishing for your success as much as you makes it all the easier. This is a huge life event and I will never regret choosing SGF for this journey.
We are beyond grateful and blessed for all the support and encouragement from SGF. Pat at the front desk, Jen and Michelle with the care team, Dr Martin and Christine, as well as the multiple fertility nurses, you really make a family while there. We were TTC for three years, tried TI and IUI, decided on IVF and am pregnant with our one embryo. They took the time to plan with us, made sure we were comfortable with every decision, and provided information on how to make this successful. We would recommend them to anyone needing that push.
I’m extremely happy and grateful that I decided to go to Dr.Martin. I did a consult with another place before coming here(not for me) . SGF was a success for me with IVF on the first try. My baby is 1 month old. He was such a big baby. This wouldn’t have been possible without coming to this office. It was a long journey, but everyone was pleasant and made me feel comfortable. From our initial infertility consultation to testing after multiple miscarriages to ultimately seeing a healthy baby on our 8 week ultrasound, Dr. Martin and his team showed professionalism and compassion throughout the entire process. Christine the Nurse Practitioner is phenomenal! She is so intelligent and puts you at ease with her knowledge and skills during exams and procedures. After trying for over 3 years, we began treatment at Shady Grove. Likely due to my surgical history, our first pregnancy was ectopic. Everyone at this office showed me such kindness and advocated for me when I needed to have a fallopian tube removed. When I found out I was pregnant naturally a few months later, I was terrified but they welcomed me back in to make sure baby was in the right place and everything was progressing appropriately. I'm so thrilled to share I'm 25 weeks along with a baby girl! My husband and I are so grateful to you and can't wait to share photos of her with you when she's here. Highly, highly recommend this practice for how attentive, thorough, and individualized their care is!

It is difficult to write a review that really can portray my feelings towards this office and the staff here. The first day we met Dr Martin for a consultation, I knew that he was a special person and doctor. He is kind, an astute listener, and truly cared about getting to know us and our story. He is forthcoming and honest—in addition to being superbly knowledgeable about his craft. These qualities make him, by far, one of the best physicians I’ve had the honor of knowing. He told us that first day that he knew with a lot of confidence that he would give us a baby, and in the parking lot I told my husband that I knew he was right. I never doubted him once, and that faith gave me a lot of courage that made this process the easiest it could be.
The entire process of undergoing IVF with the SGF team was seemless. They are efficient, great communicators, and the staff they have employed are beyond special. Their incredible front desk staff made my early morning, multiple weekly appointments much cheerier. The nurses, Alicia in particular, the MAs, and their physician assistant, Christine, are all people that I will never forget due to their kindness and treatment while I was a patient here.
I feel blessed to have found my team at Shady Grove. I feel even more blessed that they gave us our beautiful daughter. The day we graduated from the clinic, I told Dr Martin that I truly believe that thanks to the support from him and his team, IVF—even with every procedure, appointment, and injection, was the easiest part of going through infertility. I hope that if even one person struggling to conceive reads this review, they know that there is hope and miracles can happen thanks to the wonderful team here at Shady Grove.
My daughter is over a year now and I have struggled to write this review for so long because there are not enough words to describe how great my experience was at Shady Grove.
My journey was long and it was hard. We sampled another fertility clinic in the area before switching to Shady Grove and it was a night and day difference. Every single person I encountered at Shady Grove was caring, courteous, kind and sympathetic to our struggles. We also experienced responsiveness and strong collaboration during our family building journey at Shady Grove.
Dr. Martin is incredible. He is well versed in all of the recent research and he has wonderful bedside manner. He is very accessible if you have any questions or need to speak with him. My nurse, Lindsey, was also amazing. I went through some very difficult times during treatment and she never hesitated to be warm and caring and there with a hug if I needed it. Christine was also a huge source of comfort to me. Even the receptionists and people taking my blood truly cared about me, my husband and our family building journey.
Don't waste your time with other clinics. Shady Grove is the best of the best. I now have my miracle and it would not have been possible without this team of people.

This has been the most difficult, trying experience of my life but yet this practice and the staff within it were incredible! They always made me feel welcome by how kind they all were, and like they truly cared about helping me obtain my dream of having a child. Dr. Martin and Christine always provided the utmost patient care at all times and were just a pleasure to be around. I’ve never been in an office before that truly makes me feel like I’m at home whenever I am there. Emily was the sweetest and such a fun person to chat with when I came in. The staff at SGF Warrington are absolutely amazing! The friendliest front desk staff, the kindest nurses, the most respectful ultrasound techs and the most knowledgeable doctors! I love everything about this clinic, and I’m so grateful for their time and efforts in helping my husband and I through our IVF journey. In what can be such an emotionally and physically tough phase of life to go through, we always felt supported by the staff and knew if we had any concerns, they would be met in a timely manner. Dr. Martin & the ultrasound techs have great bed side manner and always made me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend!!
Dr. Martin and the whole fertility office took such good care of me throughout the entire year! Even after unsuccessful IUIs, my first IVF transfer was a success! The whole team was precise and timely during medication and injections. They stayed on top of everything to make sure we had the highest chances! They explained every step during each treatment process and were very nurturing and positive along the way. I could NOT have found a better place to finally become the mama of my dreams! After so many unsuccessful years of trying, thank you to all of you for making our dreams come true to have a family! Were truly blessed ❤️
We had the best experience at Shady Grove fertility in Warrington. The whole experience from first appointment to last was seamless, and took one added layer of stress off of an already emotionally exhausting experience. Dr Martin is kind, thorough, and takes time with his patients. Lindsey the nurse is so kind, empathetic, and genuinely cares about each and every one of her patients. And all every staff member is so friendly and kind. There is rarely a wait time in the office. Easy access to ask questions with very timely responses.
