My whole family has been going to JMC for close to 30 years. We won't go anywhere else. His prices have always been reasonable and his work is done right the first time.
My family and I have been with John for over 30 years. John is by far one of the most decent, honest, and efficient mechanics I have ever met. John keeps our 40 year old work vans on the road, and I trust him implicitly.
If there was 0 star, I’d definitely give 0 star to this so called repair shop. I asked how much would oil change labor price be, if I bring oil and filter, he replied very rudely he wouldn’t do it, you buy your own part and you change by yourself. That’s what he said. This guy is furious just because he can’t rip off people over the oil price. Stay away from this place if you don’t wanna be treated rudely.
Answer your reply: Almost all shops change customer’s oil with their oil they want to use on their own car. If you haven’t been aware of this fact so far, it means that you just play mechanic game in your little yard. And also I don’t want to skip saying that restaurant and auto repair are completely two different business models. I already changed my oil somewhere else by taking my own oil and filter. I wonder how did you stay in this business by doing that.
JMC has been my mechanic for my entire life and even before I was driving he provided amazing service to my parents. They are professional, competent and trustworthy. These are important traits for a mechanic servicing cars on our Pennsylvania roads!
I’ve put my cars through a lot and JMC has always been super helpful in everything from the most routine maintenance to severe vehicular damage.

Very reasonably priced, knowledgeable and responsive. Not a huge shop, pretty busy so you do have to plan ahead a bit. But, as the adage goes, "good things come to those who wait". John has an excellent approach to diagnosing the problem and great communication on when to expect your car to be finished as well as a check-in to make sure that any additional issues/problems fit within your budget and you want them to be addressed.
