The Advance Auto Parts is one of my ‘go to’ neighborhood stores. Recently, I had to buy antifreeze for my daughter’s SUV. The knowledgeable employees helped me pick the right kind, helped me open the hood and pour it into the SUV. They are great!
The bald gentleman (I believe is the manager) is very polite, and can use the computer well compared to everyone else. Very Nice to talk to. This is my go to place for parts
Every time I come here the people are very helpful. Today I came in looking for a tool and when I explained my problem they helped me pick out a better tool that would be more useful than what I had in mind and also helped me to find that my problem actually had a recall that could help me get it fixed for good. I'm so thankful.
Needed a new battery for my car and Jon was so kind and helpful. He helped me pick out a good battery, installed it and even cleaned the corrosion off of my holder! Would definitely recommend!
During a short road trip from NYC to Washington DC, my car unexpectedly displayed a check engine light. Luckily, we stumbled upon Advance Auto Parts in Penndel, PA, where we decided to utilize their OBD2 reader to diagnose the issue. The staff at this location were incredibly helpful and patient throughout the process. I highly recommend this Advance Auto Parts for their outstanding service and support.
Worst customer service i ever face. I went to the store to buy headlights for my Honda CRV. The associate was helping me was very nice. Because i had 20% discount coupon I placed order online while i was in the store for pick up. Person who was helping me he told me headlights coming with 1 year defective warranty and 5 years manufacturing warranty. Which mean if headlights stop working i can stop by in any advance auto parts store and get new one without any questions. But I placed a order online for pick in the store manager start getting rude with me and cross 1 year warranty with pen on my slip and told me that i only get 1 year warranty if I’m making purchase in store only not online. I told him the other person was helping me i will get 1 year defective warranty either i buy in a store or online. Manger Bob told me in rude tone that he is new just listen what i am telling you and didn’t allow me to talk. I called customer care to confirm that. Because that was unacceptable how they have 2 different policy for store purchase and online purchase. When manager saw me I called customer care to verify he walked out from the store and told me if I don’t want i can return the product in very rude behavior. When customer care lady called in the store to understand why they are giving me wrong information. The person who picked the call. He start shouting on me and told me to go out of the store. Store manager Bob and person who picked customer care call was racist and rude. They don’t know how to talk with client. I will never visit this store and will not recommend anyone.
Great service great people, especially Mike who helped me install my complicated wipers and called out few other issues that help me with the car, amazing employee!!! Give this guy a raise!!!
I love detailing cars and Advanced Auto Parts always has what I need. More importantly, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful when I don't know where to find something.
They sold me an expired battery. I did not realize it and had to get my car towed and my mechanic put in a new battery. When I went to return the old battery they stated they can only exchange it. Not using this store again. Sold me a defective expired item and would not refund. Horrible customer service
Fabulous customer service. The gentleman that waited on me went above and beyond to help me find wiper blades for my car. He called a competitor to check their inventory, found a coupon for me, and even put on my wiper blades. A plus service!!
Bob and the guys here are the best! They helped me twice when we had a battery mishap. Customer service is the best. I’ll never shop for parts anywhere else. Thanks guys!
I went in for windshield wipers and the elderly man behind the counter acted like he didn't even want to help me. He acted like I was putting him out. I was the only one in the store shopping. All I needed was windshield wipers. Don't goto this place. They are way to busy doing nothing behind the counter.
I bought a $22.38 light bulb for a headlight. Unbenounced to me I didn't know that as soon as you walk out their door you are not getting a refund. Even when I replaced it less than 2 minutes after I bought it.
The older gentle man that was speaking to my father about time served in military, was a genuine good hearted man that also spend part of his life in the air force . thank you for your service and thank you for the hospitality (that alone deserves a raise with these 5 stars)
It was fine. I have to subtract a star though just because there are so many different bulbs to choose from. However I am not entirely convinced that is the store's fault.
I geuss if some one likes peaches theyll never like an apple. But definitely didn't feel that I was treated fairly especially after speaking to other employees. You get told you're doing great one second and then horrible the next. But these people have to live with themselves
This advanced auto parts has the worst customer service I have ever seen. I was standing in the front waiting for someone to come up to the register and when someone did the guy just looked at me I proceeded to ask for help but he just picked something off the register and walked away so I instantly was upset by that another guy came to the register which was the general manager he wasn’t very pleasant at all! Worst customer service ever!
It's Advance. They typically have what you need in stock at one location or another. Just have to get through the checklist of questions on what your car is. No you don't need to know whether my truck is 4X4 to sell me windshield wipers.
Always a consistent 5 stars as far as my visits have been. Everything went great...from customer service to having the part we needed today. And, as a Woman, I am always treated respectfully and they are always very patient with my never ending questions without being condescending. Clean store. Have never felt unsafe. Always a good experience.
Went in for a part. Cashier asked if I had a rewards card. I said no. I asked about it. He explained. Said it wouldn't save me any money today and wouldn't sign me up. Way to go. I guess he figures someone else buys my parts for me. WRONG!!!!! WELCOME TO THE 21ST CENTURY. Women buy auto parts.
I had to return an unopened item that was over 45 days old. They would not take it back. Be careful that you buy what you need and no more, because they stick strictly to their policy and don't care about customer service. I won't shop there again.
This was a tough one for me to review because I have just moved to the area and only used this place twice.
The first time one of the workers there was great, very happy and had a great attitude. He helped me with gathering all the things I needed as I was doing a full service on my car.
However, this auto parts store is in a quiet town and is really used a lot by locals, and you get a sense of that from the workers and customers that are there.
So today as I write this 15th of May 2016 at 7:15 as I have just got back from there, I wanted to write this review.
I arrived at 18:55 and a man with a cart of tools with an older woman was outside the door, the man was locking it. I asked him if I could get in, I needed to grab a bulb. he looked at me and said we're closed. I looked at him and said I though it was 7pm you close. He looked at his watch which showed 7pm and I pulled my phone which had 18:55. He said the managers asked me to lock the door and he pointed to the manger who was serving someone at the till. I said seriously! people go out of their way to rush to get here in time because online it says 7pm and "we" get here and you locked up early!..joke!
The woman said try pepboys, I replied they close at 6pm.
As I pulled out I noticed a woman who was running across the car park it was now just around a minute to 7pm and she pulled the locked door and she asked me and I told her they decided to close before 7pm.
The lady started to swear and shout, I understand her frustration, but instead of just swearing I wanted to write this review and go in another direction.
My ager was at the prick who locked up early but IF the manager did tell him to lock the doors, then I guess this goes to show the way they run business.
I get it, it's a small town. I get it, you may not have been busy the whole afternoon and thought it was just a waste of time staying open, I know this because I am an owner of a business. BUT if your hours are 7 to 7 or 10 to 7 then you stay open or change your hours!
I got the bulb I needed on the drive back as I stopped in a gas station.
