We recently had the pleasure of working with Rolling Rock Building Stone and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Our main point of contact, Jordan, was incredibly helpful - he guided us through all the on-site stone selection options with patience and expertise. Once we decided to move forward with the Yarton stone and a custom-cut bluestone hearth, Jordan ensured the correct amount of material was ordered based on our wall dimensions. He also confirmed that the hearth was cut to the precise length we needed. Additionally, we wanted two stones placed beneath a mantel for aesthetic purposes. Jordan went the extra mile, hand-selecting building stones that closely matched the Yarton style based on the measurements we provided. Everything was shipped on schedule and arrived in excellent condition. We're absolutely thrilled with the final result - it’s now the centerpiece of our living room and has completely transformed the space. Highly recommend!

Im a truck driver an i went to Rolling Rock to make a pick up.All the way from north jersey. Now i no why my customer wanted the stone from Rolling Rock.very nice product. The ladys in the office was an are the best very helpfull funny an over all nice people. The loaders was on point didnt look like i was even loaded.they even helped me find a better way of the place instead of the tight road i took my tri-axle dump truck down it was a truck route but the other way was 10 miles longer but i was able to movie better

I had to match veneer stones for House addition & infills of & existing doors & windows. I went to Rolling Rock Building Stone and was given a tour of their yard and all the different types of stones that may work for the stone work that needed to done. Lisa K. was my Salesperson, she guided and helped with picking out 6 different stones species that match perfectly. The order & delivery went very well, the delivery driver did a great job unloading the pallets of stones at the job site. Special thanks to Lisa, Denny & Barry.
We are blessed to live on a small farm, and over the last 10+ years have sourced stone, cut stone, blue stone and mantels for various projects including a new barn, steps, walls, etc. - all has been sourced from Rolling Rock. More recently we embarked on a major project to install an in-ground pool, fire pit area with stone columns and stone cabinets, and a large stone pavilion with gas fireplace, outdoor kitchen, etc. Part of the pool project / site work involved matching existing stone to blend with the new - a critical part to creating a successful project. Rolling Rock was OUTSTANDING to work with, once again. Randy, sales representative, made several trips to our farm home to analyze the type of and mix of existing stone, came back with samples to verify a good match, and delivered a beautiful match. He checked back several times to make sure all was going well. In addition to the stone, we also sourced a fairly large quantity of blue stone for ledges and trim. The caring approach Randy and the Rolling Rock team delivered was outstanding. The quality of the product was outstanding. My wife and I are very impressed and grateful for the opportunity to work with Randy and the Rolling Rock team. Cheers, and looking forward to our next project - it will be with Rolling Rock!
One the best places in PA to find nice natural stone! We wanted to match old stone on an existing house and they got us a blend of 5 colors and were able to match almost perfect!!

There’s many decisions that need to be made when building a custom home. My wife and I decided to use thin stone veneer from Rolling Rock when building our dream modern farmhouse; and the only thing we regret is that we didn’t use more of it! The difference between real stone and concrete based stone couldn’t be any more clear. We absolutely love the look and feel of the stone. We also love doing business with local and family owned businesses.

We took a ride out to Rolling Rock to select stone for our new fireplace. We wanted to support a small business so we chose them. The salesman was very helpful and knowledgeable. They had a good selection to choose from. We narrowed it down to two that we liked and had to get some measurements. My husband contacted the salesman with our final selection and he took care of everything in a timely manner. We love the look of the fireplace wall and the stone. Well, we finally got our stone frog to his permanent home and thought that others might enjoy getting a look at him. He lives in a planter box at Animated Brewing Company in Coatesville. He was so heavy that we had to reinforce the bottom of the box with stacked paver stones. We can't thank everyone at Rolling Rock for all their help and patience in locating the perfect rocks for us! Isaac certainly had an eye for it, as he found the eyes (no pun intended) and at least one of the legs. In our book, Isaac and Rolling Rock are simply the best! Thanks so much,

My wife and I weren't exactly sure what we wanted, so they offered to drive us out to their yard to see first hand our options. I believe they have over 400 acres of stone from around the globe, of every imaginable kind. Their staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, making the entire experience enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone in need of quality stone products and outstanding customer service!

This place is a builder/contractors dream. If you want to see some of the coolest natural stone in eastern pa this is a must see. Want your project to pop and I mean blow your customers away. You need to browse there lots. More stone here than anywhere I’ve seen. The staff is super knowledgeable and the ladies in service really kick butt. Hats off to this company my favorite field trip.
Incredible Customer service! During Post-COVID product shortages, Rolling Rock bent over backwards to help us find suitable substitute stone products. They worked with my spouse through several product options until we found just the right stone. Then, they worked through and resolved all the logistics issues directly with our sub-contractors. Bruce did the lions share of the research and communication. He should be recognized as Rolling Rock’s Employee of the Year!

Gary, the day you took Joan and I down to the showroom when it was closed off is what solidified our decision on what stone to purchase. And recommending Dennis Miller (who did the Huntington Gray Wall) to do the job was perfect. As you can see by the images it all looks fantastic. My wife and I are very pleased, and Dennis and Vince (his right hand man) was a pleasure to work with.
We had our first fire in the fireplace the other day as you can see on the images attached. I also attached an image of what the fireplace wall looked like before we started to transform it. It had a rusted-out metal liner and damper inside and bad firebrick. So we had to tear out the whole interior and redo almost everything. It was a lot of work, but the results turned out great even though at times I wished I did not start it.

We were pleasantly surprised when we pulled into Rolling Rock. This business is a class act! When we arrived, there was a sign directing us to call the office due to the pandemic. The woman on the phone was very friendly and sent a very nice salesman out right away. Even though we were only buying three small bags of decorative stone, all of the employees treated us as though we were buying a whole truckload. The man who helped us load the stone was extra congenial - he had a big smile the whole time and reassured us that if we needed more, it was no big deal for us to come back and get one more bag. When my husband came out after going into the office to pay, he said “These people have the best customer service I’ve seen in a long time”. Everyone was very helpful, courteous, and efficient. Not once did we feel like we were being overlooked because we were making such a small purchase. We will definitely be back for future projects!
We used various landscape products (6' stone heavy steps and patio stone) from Rolling Rock for our new wedding venue in Lancaster County, PA. As a Registered National Historic Landmark dating back to the 1740s, we had to be very particular in choosing materials that looked authentic and matched the historical material on site as closely as possible. After looking locally and nationally, we were lucky enough to come across this great company. Gary and his team were very knowledgeable about their products, they were quick to respond to our questions, they suggested various design options, and they even were able to customize the stone to fit our exact needs. We are thrilled by the end result of our hardscape, and would highly recommend Rolling Rock for first class products and service at a very reasonable price.
I'm a residential customer, and LOVED my experiences dealing with Rolling Rock. I first visited after my stucco remediation contractor suggested I pay them a visit- I'd picked out other stone for the outside of the house at another quarry, but my contractor said they he thought I'd be happier with a different stone. We met up at Rolling Rock and I was pleased at how many samples were outside and available for us to look at. I ended up finding on that I love (Paignton) and we bought a lot of it to use on our project- the workers cut the stones down to get a more rectangular look. The price was 50% lower than the stone I had picked at a different quarry, and I liked the look of Paignton more.
We got done with the project and then ended up needing to redo something due to a mistake that an inside contractor made (installing a door in the wrong place.) I went back to RR to pick up extra pieces of granite trim that I needed-- I got help from two people and both were extremely helpful. I hadn't realized that there would be so many different options on long thin granite ledges, and one of the workers was able to look up what my contractor had used on my house in the past so that I could pick up the matching piece of what I needed. They didn't have to go that extra step, but they did-- and saved me another 2 hours round trip, which I would have had to have done if I'd gotten the wrong piece. It really made a difference to me-- my project didn't get held up, I didn't need to make another trip, and they were kind and patient throughout the process.
Based on the prices and the customer service, I'll definitely recommend Rolling Rock to the other homeowners in my community if others opt to remediate stucco and replace with stone.
As a landscape architect with Cushing & Henderson, I find that Rolling Rock consistently has an extensive selection of stone products and excellent customer service. It has been a pleasure to work with them for over twenty years on residential and institutional projects, for the selection of large and small boulders, landscape flat stone, and building stone. On my most recent visit yesterday, my client and I met with Gary Hallman, and he gave us wonderful customer service, with his knowledge of rock types, response to client questions about rock selection, and with seamless safe Covid practices.
