I want to give a great big thank you to your employee Chuck. I stopped in today to have my battery checked as I had a little trouble starting my car this morning. He was extremely helpful. He showed on his tester where my battery was almost dead. He then took the time to explain what batteries they had in stock along with the warranties. He was professional, kind and just a joy to deal with. He installed my battery quickly. While most retail workers seem to care very little to treat their customers today with decency and respect, he went the extra mile. TLDR; You are playing russian roulett with the quality of these parts. 30% of everything i got here was trash, counterfit TEMU level crap, Employees are confrontational, nasty, and incomplete.
3 different employees who are rude, nasty, and confrontational. The cashiers talk down to me, and are condescending (I'm a professional mechanic) but will arrogantly correct me if they disagree with anything I say. Atleast I am confident, I have recently had this topic come up with complete strangers who said that they were treated worse. They are arrogant, but are clearly less knowledgeable than even DIY'ers. If you absolutely have to go here be ready for an argument or go in with thick skin. My female neighbor said she felt humiliated after dealing with these wannabe mechanics. Go to NAPA, they are nice to me, humble, and much more knowledgeable
This review should have been awhile ago but seeing this place everyday just irks me now. NEVER buy their brand brake pads. They will ruin your rotors on your car. About 6 months ago, I purchased 2 sets of their "Gold Standard" brake pads which are supposed to be the best they have of their own brand. I bought 2 sets for 2 of my cars both Honda Accords with many years in between them. I've been replacing my own brake pads and doing oil changes for my whole life so this was like riding a bike. Both sets fit fine, but after the first few days of driving on these "Gold" version brake pads I start feeling like there's vibrations in the brakes ON BOTH CARS! I then checked both cars because I'm thinking maybe I forgot a spacer? or the rotors are dirty? but doubtful on both cars. As I thought, nothing was missing or dirty. Come to find out that the front rotors on both cars have become WARPED! Are you kidding me??! Where there no rotor issues before, after installing their supposedly premium grade brake pads and a few days later I ended up having to take both cars to a brake specialist mechanic to replace both front rotors on both cars amounting to around $400 for each car. So thanks for that Advance Auto. Never again. Buy a more reputable brand not theirs is my advice. In fact Advance Auto, I believe you owe me money for the rotors if anything.
The guy with the beard…..ugh. No hello, no assistance offered which is fine as a tech and decades in the automotive service industry I am not sure I would trust them anyway. sherry is very nice though. Pricing is stratospheric. Again, beard guy is a real peach.
Super efficient and helpful. Harley worked with me on the phone, found the part I needed, pulled it for me, and I walked out with the part shortly after. Good pricing, full of knowledge, and have things in stock. Thanks!
The Lady behind the counter was polite and handled a rude customer very well. It would be helpful to have another cashier because you can wait awhile at the checkout.
This place is the absolute worst place to go for any parts that I have ever been too. Old big guy with beard needs to be fired and will give the hardest time to place a simple order for a part. Just drive the extra distance to AutoZone!!
Had to have a battery replaced (or so we thought) due to it not passing with cold cranking. The guy was very helpful. Turns out it has something to do with the connections to the terminals. He was able to rig it so that it would work. Thanks so much.
They were the most unhelpful people…. I just can't understand why they wouldn't give me an answer for my question I was a kept saying as we can't help you here even though I was sitting right next to somebody that they did the same service for today it's for 2 days before that so in my mind they didn't want to get off their butts to do anything sorry… Happy holidays
Some employees here are excellent. Others not so much. I've left here with as many incorrect parts as correct parts. Depends on who helps you. Over priced as hell. Go online if you have the time.

and Jason who answered the phone said he could put it in for me. Great service.
Very rude employees and not willing to give a little extra effort to help you. This especially goes to the older big guy with the beard. DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERE FOR ANYTHING!
Worthless... been here for a specific thing immediately was pointed out this is the one this is the one as I read the package wasn't even for my car I had little to no inventory for what I needed and no longer tools available only the word of a worker to say if I'm on duty you can return it
I typically make online purchases for pickup here and they’re good with keeping things moving and helping out, but these guys HATE Toyota’s, Honda’s and Subaru’s as Japanese junk. Definitely some old school mentality here, which is disheartening when you’re trying to talk to them about issues or repairs.
I go here a few times a year and never any issues with service. Several times have seen the salesperson go out to customer's cars to verify they would be getting the correct part, although I've never personally needed that. Real good selection of parts, tools, oils, waxes/polishes, batteries, bulbs, etc as do most stores of this type. Prices seem reasonable.
Was there looking for motor oil that the website said this particular store had in stock, asked the two guys at the counter and was told “the oil we have is on the wall, we don’t hide any of it” umm you could have atleast pretended to help, beyond lazy!!
Two of the employees here have tried to help me out. A woman was very nice and helpful, although she was limited because she was the only employee there at the time. I went in again the same day for further help with my issue. The male I spoke with seemed very disinterested, felt like I was being rushed and didn't really enjoy my time. Overall, neither of them were able to fully help me out as it turns out I need a new windshield.
The staff has the ability to be friendly and provide great customer service. But sadly it doesn't. My alternator went and my garage was 2 miles down the street so I had to get my battery charged here so it had enough juice to make it there. I don't know anything about cars not have tools, and my car was sitting dead in the parking lot and they would not come out to help me take it out. If I bought something they would have gladly done it. But instead, someone else that heard me in the store came out and said they had tools in their truck and would help me. Calling them d***s for not helping me out in anyway.
