Never ever call Del’s truck to tow your semi trucks or others cars. I have an experience with them. Firstly, they told me, they will charge for hourly but after they finish their job they will charge you above $10,000. Special semi truck drivers, please don’t call them. I’m just helping y’all through this review also I’m the victim.
Called for a road service on the turnpike about 37 miles from Breezewood due to sudden air loss and then truck would not start. The tech arrived and thought battery needed jump so I attempted with my own jump pack with no assistance. Tech said it needed to be towed and suggested to Peterbilt. So I arranged to be towed to Peterbilt in Hagerstown, Md. Because of having a trailer, they dispatched 2 wreckers to me, towed both to Hagerstown and charged me just over $1400. I received the billing from Dels and was charged $1012! Stated that they attempted to jump the batteries which is nothing but false! The point is two truck as came from Hagerstown and charged $1400 and actually did something, Dels came out, turned the key and left but charged $1000! Maybe it's me but that's as close to highway robbery as you can get! Update review
If you did not than why did we receive an invoice. It was a blue Peterbilt contracted to Anderson Trucking. Please do not cover for your highway robbery with another untrue statement
Del’s truck and auto repair was an awesome experience. I got my truck stuck deep in some mud the other day and Del got me out quick and in a very professional way. I’d recommend Del’s to anyone. You won’t regret the decision. Very Professional and nice guy. Great job out there man! Safe travels.
Total scam — avoid at all costs.
My trailer got stuck making a U-turn just one block from their location. I called them thinking it would be a quick, local assist — instead, they charged me $3,000 for a 10-minute job. That’s robbery. Other tow companies would’ve done the same thing for a fraction of the cost. These guys take advantage of people in tough situations. Stay far away unless you enjoy being ripped off.
I'm a company driver. My company call and they came right away. Dawn moved so quick and got me up and going less than a hour! Highly recommend them for any truck repairs
guys are very experienced and professional. I have a 80’ enclosed 9 car hauler. They also hooked my tractor and trailer back up after the job was fixed. I really appreciate y’all guys, thanks again
Our van was hit by a steel pipe from the roadway. The transmission pan had a hole and spewed transmission oil til emptied!
They transported my husband ( in wheelchair) and I to hotel and had parts ordered/fixed by the next day. He went above and beyond looking out for us.

Five stars, they picked me up on the side of i70 and brought me back to his shop. Where I asked him if he would let me work on my own vehicle the next day when I get the parts. Super nice people and very helpful. Even told me if there was anything i needed to just give him a call.
If you can town your truck away from this SHOP do it!! Don’t waste your money with this people!!! 10k to replace a clutch on a 2019 Cascadia… think twice before you bring your TRUCK!!!

Very unprofessional mechanics. Two people came to check my truck , disconnected the battery, connected back and reported that my truck was broken, and said that they weren’t able to fix it. Charged me $870 for disconnecting the battery . Please NEVER use Del’s Truck & Auto Repair LLC, they are THIEVES!
Not easy to work with, expensive, got lippy when he was asked for updates on eta. cost us an entire day of drive time because he would not communicate. highly recommend you find another shop. he says he can get you done quickly to get you into the shop. then holds the vehicle until he has time to fix it.
This guy was great contacting me a made sure I was updated on his eta. Went above and beyond to call me an made sure I was informed on where he was at what was going to happen. Called the city to salt the road. Then once I was helped made sure I got to a safe destination safely. 10 out of 10 with customers service.
Del is simply the best!!! I have no words to express how thankful I am for Del’s. I called Thursday and right away they were fast and efficient with the tow. I was put in a very difficult situation and needed my load delivered by Saturday. Del went above and beyond to work on my truck and stayed past midnight to work on my truck, he even dropped me off at a hotel by his shop. He was great with communication and gave me updates through the whole process. The very next day on Friday he was able to get all the parts needed and repairs done. That same night on Friday I was back on the road. This would have not been possible without him. Del is so dedicated, hardworking and efficient at what he does! Everything was very professional, and well done. Well worth and reasonable priced repairs. It have not had any issues since the repairs were made. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to friends or family with 30+ yrs of experience im sure you will be in great hands.

So I was stranded on a Sunday evening on the eastbound Turnpike at a service plaza about 30 miles from Breezewood, PA. I was working with my emergency roadside service provider trying to get a tow to Breezewood. After being told I would be towed first thing Monday morning I spent the night in my car only to learn the next morning that no one was coming and it would probably be better if I made my own arrangements. I called a couple places in Breezewood with my third call to Del's who quickly explained he only works on big rigs now... then he proceeded to use his knowledge of the area and talk me through best options to get me the tow and repairs I needed. Thank you for taking time to help me on the phone Del, especially with all my extra questions. The turnpike can be a real nightmare if you break down. Your advice was sound!!

Be careful guys. they changed for 2 tires just 2 miles from shop . My truck location at when we enter in turnpike at tolls both . 1-2 mile. But they charge $2700. Like really they know it I’m out of state and stuck. They said $1300for tires and rest money for service and labor. So $1400 for road service. It’s call unprofessional. Be careful my driver brothers.
A couple years ago I had the pleasure of meeting Del. He towed and repaired my truck. He was knowledgeable and professional and i was very pleaswd with my service. Just last week I had an issue up in Emlenton. I called him right away amd got the truck to him. He took good care of me. I wont hesitate to drive across the state to get there anytime I have a problem. He has become my NE go to for anything my truck needs. Great guy and I recommend
Del the owner of the shop and his mechanic are top notch in what they do and very helpful in nature. If I had to listen to the bad reviews here, I could have a spend a couple of thousands of $$$. We have a regen issues and TA shop referred us to tow the truck to dealership which is about 60miles away. Considering the cost of the towing plus the dealership rates and their nature to hold the truck for days to weeks. I am so glad, I took my chance to call diesel mechanic nearby and happened to be this shop the first one I called. Del has been very helpful even to answer my call beyond his working hours. Bottomline, they were able to regen the truck that TA mechanics CAN’T and put as back in the road in no time. Plus the rate is very reasonable that I believe this place has a lot of hearts for small truckers like us.
We can’t thank Del enough for coming to our rescue this afternoon! He and his assistant checked out our dually, help us trouble shoot and made sure we were good to go! Then he even followed us to make sure we were safely on the road.

Good Buddy of mine recently had to be towed 9.7 miles. The truck did have to sit until it could be loaded on a lowboy to get back home at his shop with no fence or gate. $2100 being the ending bill at a going rate of $216 a loaded mile seems extreme and purely taking advantage of a small sole proprietor. We won’t be back.
Del and his crew were top notch. I broke down about 10 miles outside breezewood on the turnpike. He came out promptly and towed me to his shop. Freightliner parts were delayed but that’s out of his hands. As soon as the were in they had my truck up and running. This was the second time I had issues with my truck in as many days. The quality of his work was far superior than the previous shop at half the price. Couldn’t be happier with everything.
We own a 42-foot motorhome and had a fuel diesel line break on the PA Turnpike. They stayed up late and worked on it after getting the part. Finished at 1 a.m. Got us back on the road. Told us everything he was doing to keep us in the loop. Checked to make sure we had no problems getting to our destination the next day. If we could give a 10 star, we would!

An early Saturday morning, my water pump has failed. I called 2 dealerships, 4 truck stop road service and 4 other Towing Garages and they all said NO/Monday at the earliest. I called Del's and he was equally swamped but clearly he has a servant's heart. He found a way. He was diligent, resourceful and had a can do attitude. He not only pulled it off as he got me back rolling 36 -48 hrs beyond my other options, he did so reasonably price. Heres a prime example, he had his young mechanic Taylor give me the excess 3 gals of coolant according to what he charged.
Bottom line, this professional is exactly who you want to support. I hope I never need his services again but if I do, he's the first and likely only person I'm calling.
