Excellent customer service and attention to detail. Received an oil change / tire rotation and they took great care to check all my fluids, filters and wiper blades. Highly recommend Hineman's!
Horrible customer service, the dude who answered the phone sounds like he hates his life. Couldn’t get me an estimated time it could be done for a simple fix that I could’ve done at home unfortunately I’m traveling for work but way overpriced. Truck got done not sure how long their fix will hold up not too confident in their work.
Sean M. is a nice guy, and helped me get back from between Youngstown and Pittsburgh when my car was having engine issues. We had a good conversation about our very different tastes in music. I thought I would be stranded 50 miles from my home, but they made it really easy to get back!
I ran out of gas on highway and I was frightened.
They were so wonderful and came right away and went above and beyond the call of duty and even took me to gas station. I can't thank them enough.

Went there to get transmission replaced on a 2000 f 150 with 422000 miles on mon at 3pm, was told it would be ready by either Friday or Saturday. I stated I would like it back on Friday. I paid in full and waited for them to call when it was delivery but the call I got on Wednesday of that same week 12pm was that my car was ready , unbelievable a less than 2 day turnaround . The vehicle rides like new the customer service was on point an the communication skills were great I highly recommend them for all car repairs 🙂👍💯 FYI... I also had ball joints and a oil change with that service🙂
Darla and Austin in office were efficient and very pleasant to deal with. Although interaction was limited, mechanics were competent and professional. Prices were fair. Overall a very good experience.
I got locked out of my car (and subsequently, my house) very late at night; I could SEE my keys on the floorboard. Got ahold of AAA, they sent Bruce from Hineman's out and I was safely reunited with my keys within the hour. Bruce was friendly, prompt, and very kind despite the late hour
My 2007 Chevy Malibu had to get a new fuel pump .The mechanic had to drop the gas tank , fuel pump is in tank also replace the vapor canister. And reinstalled the tank and I also had new spark plugs installed . Malibu is running good and the work was done in a timely manner.
The guys came out within 20 minutes of reaching out to AAA, they could not have been nicer or more helpful especially for it being 20°. I couldn’t be happier with my experience!
I recently had a couple visits to have some major work done to my truck. Even though the jobs were big they completed it in ONE day which I never experienced before. Another bonus is they communicate very well and gave me options of what needs fixed and what should be done to prevent further issues down the road. I like having options and being in and out. I no longer dread car maintenance and finally found my shop after 10 years of searching.
Jordan from Hinemans assisted me today by testing and replacing my car battery. He arrived at my house about 15 minutes after I called AAA. He was very knowledgeable and professional yet friendly and kind. I would highly recommend this business for your car related issues! I plan on making this my go to service provider! Thanks!
Couldn’t say more good things, Within 2 mins of requesting roadside assistance Shawn the actual driver phoned me and had my vehicle picked up within 15 mins and dropped off swiftly to my preferred shop. Allowing me to get my kids car back on the road the same day. AAA is lucky to have Hineman’s and my man Shawn!

I have been a customer for 46 years and it's always been fast, friendly and honest service. They will always tell you if there is anything the matter with your car and repair immediately if you choose to do so. They will also give you a great deal on tires when you need them.

Very disappointing and disgusting conversation over the phone trying to inquire about a brake job. I asked if I can bring my own brakes, they said they don't do that.. I said okay even of they are from the same manufacturer? He said I don't care where they are from I'm not doing it!. Very nasty attitude! Ya should work on how you speak to people especially your local firefighter! Thanks for showing your support!
Woman who answers the phone is rude and unhelpful. She couldn't even tell me if they'd blow gravel out of my brakes without making a sharp comment. Took it down to Smiley's and they did it for free. Poor customer service at the front desk in each of my three interactions. That said, the mechanic was cool when I talked to him. Would have been nice to deal with him directly and bypass the front desk clerk. On a sepate note, this place is expensive. My bill has never been less than $600 when I've had work done here (only a couple of times when I was in a bind). I've never paid these high prices anywhere else. Go to Fattore's (formerly Fred's) over on Airport; they offer the same quality of repair at a more reasonable price.
Hineman’s does a great job in caring for their customers as well as their customers’ cars. I personally sat & listened as they explained all options and all pricing considerations. They truly care and they know their customers situations. I was very impressed.
Hineman's Service Center is one of the most professional, knowledgeable, and fair auto service centers in the Greater Pittsburgh region (Aliquippa). I found Hineman's a year ago and am so glad I did. Their attention to detail, customer service, and willingness to repair your vehicle is unmatched. Plus, every time I have had a repair done at Hineman's, I always check both the national and Pennsylvania averages to repair the specific broken auto part. Hineman's is ALWAYS at the average costs specified on the Internet - or in most cases lower. I finally have faith in an auto repair facility to not overcharge me, fix the repair professionally and timely, and to not find "hidden" or unnecessary problems. Rich Hineman and his staff are excellent.
I came across Hineman's when my car needed towed. I spoke with 2 drivers . The first one was very helpful and informative. He was pleasant and offered me alternatives and suggestions . The second driver who actually towed my car was just as nice. He was prompt and easy going. If I had not already called my dealer , and because of the wonderful guys I met that day I would have taken my car to this garage to be repaired. Thanks for making a stressful time a little easier.
I came across Hineman's when searching for AAA garages. My personal experience is they tend to be honest, old school mechanics. I was very pleased with how everything went. They had open communication with me throughout the day about the work being done and the prices were fair. Not much more you can ask for.
