I had a breakdown of my cargo van while in the middle of a delivery. While Mick was able to come out and tow the van to his shop and took a look at it for me, he gave me a price and told me that would be the price if I paid cash. That statement led me to believe that he accepted credit cards and if I paid by credit card, I would have to pay tax and maybe the credit card processing fee. Fast-forward maybe a few weeks later and I decide not to fix the vehicle. I ask him what I owe him. He gives me a price and tells me he only accepts cash because with the credit card people have been charging back after they pay. well, if you didn’t do crappy work or you weren’t trying to take advantage of people you wouldn’t get charged back because you never told me that you didn’t accept credit cards. He also told me that my tow truck company couldn’t pick up the vehicle after hours and then begin charging the storage fees for it even though he told me they couldn’t pick it up and it’s not locked inside a secured area. Long story short, he gets to keep my old Van, which isn’t worth anything anyway, but do not take your vehicle here! Haven’t told somewhere else! That’s probably how he makes his money anyways, just towing.

My vehicle had an issue in Altoona which left it not drivable. Got a hold of Mick and he came clear to Altoona to tow me back. Once we got back he assessed the damage and quickly got back to me with an estimate and before I knew it I had my vehicle back. Thank you Mick for making this stressful situation more bearable.

Not sure about services but the tow truck driver needs to have their license taken away!!! Ran me and my boyfriend off the road almost into a guard rail because he “couldn’t see”. It was a double yellow line and he was halfway in our lane. We tried to call for our own safety and the man cussed out and yelled at my boyfriend for making the report of reckless driving.

Had to call roadside assistance through USAA due to car breaking down on freeway. Me and my family were far from home and it in a new car so would have never anticipated something like that happening Craig showed up quick with a smile and bottles of water for us that he paid for and brought to us knowing we must be hot. He made what was turning into a very bad day, less bad 😁. It was my birthday and I sincerely enjoyed the ride home hearing about him and his family. We were so grateful for him going above and beyond the call for help.

My car broke down on 51. It was able to be moved off of 51. Called road side assistance and progressive assigned Mick’s to tow my car home. The tow truck driver was great. He was super nice. Handled my car with care. And when he dropped it off at my house he made sure it was right where I normally would park. Definitely recommend them!!

This place has won my loyalty! I took my car to Mick’s today with a broken flex pipe. Not only were he and his son extremely personable, they ended up saving me almost $9000 to fix an issue the dealer said was unfixable without replacing my entire exhaust system. (I have a 2017 Fiat 500.) They let me watch them fix the car, they explained as they went and answered any questions I had. He got me in and out in a little more than an hour for a project I thought would at least take a few days. This was definitely the best service I’ve ever had with my vehicle. I’m going to Mick’s from now on!

Not sure about their service but the tow truck driver is awful! Pulled out in front of my, ignoring a stop sign. Hopefully if you use them, your car arrives only as damaged as it was prior to being hooked up.

I hate to leave such a negative review but I hope I can stop someone from having to go through what we went through. Called mick 13 months ago for a tow and vehicle repair. Fast service for the tow. Once he had the vehicle it was waiting for parts, or in paint for literal months. 13 months. We tried to get the car back numerous times. “The police say it’s a civil matter” he can literally take your car and hide it and there is nothing you can do…… he ignored our calls and messages for weeks at a time. And finally today. 13 months later car is ready for pickup cash only $5700. No invoice of parts. And very rude. Exact works were just come pick up the car and pay for it. Car is brand new and we have been making payments on it the entire time he has been holding it. If you want your car towed. Maybe he’s your guy. Just don’t let him tow it To his place. For your own good stay away! Very bad business man and just flat out not honest.

DO NOT GO HERE! He will lie to you about every single part of the “service” he says he will provide. He told me he could repair and inspect my RV in two weeks. Six months later, I had to open a case with the General Attorney's Office to get him to return my calls and give me my RV back with minimal work done. He never answers his phone or returns calls/texts. Lies about timeline and work done. Will put other jobs ahead of yours and hold your vehicle hostage. Never at the worksite. A complete scam! AVOID THIS AWFUL PLACE.

I've been take my vehicles to Mick's for over 10 years. I've done this because Mick is an excellent mechanic and also does great body work. I will no longer be using his services because of his lack of customer service and loyalty. He puts high paying jobs such as boat repair ahead of his long standing customers. Promises made and broken way too many times for me. He rarely answers his calls. Thanks for the years of service but I'm outta here.

Had my car for three months!!! Promised it to be ready multiple times. Showed to pick up and still on jacks! No call backs! No communication! Get my car back and is in worst shape then when I took it in.

I left my car in my driveway for 1.5 years during the pandemic and came back to find it totally dead and in heavy need of multiple repairs. I scheduled a towing request through Progressive roadside assistance. Mick's automotive service arrived at a timely manner, managed to get my car out of the driveway (where it could not be accessed by the tow truck), and brought it to a car repair shop about 20 minutes away. The driver Greg also gave me a ride to the repair shop despite Progressive's warning that I might need to find a separate ride due to the pandemic. He also gave independent off-the-record advice about what attention my car needed. I think friendly service is vastly underrated and I greatly appreciated both the speed and attitude with which Mick's automotive service helped me out. Would definitely recommend based on my experience today.

Got my inspection done about a month ago he said he had to order a part charged me for it and has yet to handle anything. He just gives me a run around when I call.

I have been going to Mick for about a year now and I have been very impressed with his service. He has proven to be very honest and trustworthy as well as competent and fair, which is about all you can ask for in a mechanic! I would highly recommend coming to him with any of your vehicles!

Very impressed! I was able to get 4 new tires, oil change and new engine coil installed with same day service.

One of if not the best tow company around. Greg got to me in a timely manner, fast service, and a great guy with some interesting stories. Would highly recommend if you need a tow!

Called roadside assistance and was assigned Mick’s Towing. I’m 20 minutes from them, and they showed up 3 hours later. The tow truck driver said he came straight here. I would not recommend them for towing. You’d be further ahead to do it yourself.

Needed a tow, got stranded by the first company my insurance went through for three hours (K&K Roadside). These guys came through and sympathized when I told them what was going on. Timely, courteous, and competent - they had me back on the road within less than an hour after contacting them. Glad I went with them.

I literally had my wheel almost fall off & 4 studs broke off.Greg came within 30 minutes & got my car on flatbed & back to.my home immediately!!! Great service,courteous driver & def recommend calling them!!

Just had my car towed by Mick's. They took extra time to make sure not to scratch underneath the front lip and were friendly as can be. Know who I'll be calling next time I need a tow.

Mick's great at what he does..... and he dose it all. Very reasonable pricing..... Small town shop that is good to see they don't lie to you ever!

I had to call roadside assistance, I prearranged for a tow. That tow company was late, when I called back, I was told that they broke down, I waited again. Finally, I called back and they sent Mick’s. Zach showed up earlier than his expected time, and was great! Definitely, the best thing that happened involving my vehicle all day! Highly recommended!

I just got towed from monroeville to ford city..zach is a very decent driver..he was there within the time allotted and was very nice

I took my 2011 Hyundai Tucson on 2/13/19 to Micks Auto. My rear brakes were making a LOUD grinding sound, even thou another garage just replaced my rear brakes a month prior. Mick quickly found the problem, and had my car back to me in a few hours. I feel i found a garage who is honest, and with very reasonable rates. I will recommend to everyone!

You need your car repaired you need your car towed call Mick. He is fair and more importantly he is honest. Something that is lacking in most automotive repair garages and dealerships. He is experienced and efficient plus he has tow trucks so if you are stranded calling

Great folks here that go the extra mile. They helped us out when the dealership would have just taken advantage of us. Highly recommended. They are honest, knowledgeable, capable and quick, and trustworthy.
