willard is disgusting i see him eat at the counter about every week i go in. i’ve had enough of his district to me i refuse to go up to him and if he’s the only one up front i will leave. willard has moved slow with putting in my battery. he has gotten toney and loud with me because i didn’t understand something about the battery. and the last time i asked him to check my engine he didn’t do it right i had to have the other kid come and help me and do it right.

Really bad customer service, avoid at all cost, they are acting as if you are bothering them soon you step inside store, any questions or requests is like pulling tooth for them. I don't know if it's just evening crew, but i really have horrible experiences in this store. I usually shop often in other Advance Auto parts, never had problem

Will W. was a great help. Very personable and knowledgeable. He was able to tell right away that i needed a new battery and i was in and out in less than 20 minutes.

I was in trouble. My battery died on me. I came in today and Will did a great job. Show me a battery and install it for me.

Seth at the Carnegie Store deserves a raise! Great customer service coupled with patience and knowledge makes for a good experience by the customer! Kudos Seth! He installed my battery without issue after having verified all necessary information to make certain we had the correct one! Once again, great job!

I showed up with 4 minutes to close and the doors were locked. I tried to get ahold of both men at the counter who were looking directly at me but wouldn’t open the door. Even yelling that I only needed one quick thing they shook their heads telling me that I couldn’t get my item. Please don’t go here at all. I literally tried to get in and was refused by both guys. I’m calling corporate about this issue as well.

I went to this store as the plastic part that attaches my wiper blade to the arm broke. I didn't need help however the gentlemen working insisted and when he looked at the issue with my wiper he went behind the counter and pulled a part off of an old blade and gave it to me. This prevented me from having to make a purchase, impressed the heck out of me that this person (wish I had gotten his name) was more concerned about doing what was best for me even over making a sale. On top of that it saved 2 parts (his plastic and my blade) from ending up in the trash. What a great experience, what a truly customer focused approach, thank you!

I went to have ym battery checked. They claimed it was fine so I didn't bother to get a new one. My battery caught fire next day.

Went in to see if the guy could check my car after it shut off on me. He wouldn’t even give me the time of day, he just stood leaning over the counter with his head leaning on his hand. He clearly wanted me out of the store so he can go back to sitting behind the counter. I needed a few other things for my car besides asking the initial question, but I took my business elsewhere. Treat people nice ??‍♀️

Been shopping at this store since it opened. Today, I needed a battery so I went to Advance Auto. "We're not installing batteries today. It's too cold." So I borrowed their tools and installed it myself in ten minutes. A fat senior citizen with arthritic hands did it with no problems while the strapping young millennial cowered inside, hiding from the weather. F'ing wimp. That was my last purchase from Advance Auto. I'll drive the extra two minutes and go to NAPA.

I came here because a locksmith for my vehicle had accidentally triggered a bunch of error codes in my vehicle's computer, and they connected the device and cleared out the error codes and my check engine light went back out. I was very pleased with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.

I didn't shop here. I called looking for a part for my car. Only had the description because It was an odd part that broke. A T connection. The person on the phone looked up stuff. No real fix. But kept at it to see if he could look for parts to do what I needed. I told him the size... no luck. I said thank you hung up. Maybe 5 mins later I get a call. No name. Didn't answer. I was on the phone. No message. I called back. It was your employee saying he thinks he found my part. But it was at the Bridgeville location. I am so sorry I do not remember his name. But I want everyone to know how much your willingness to go the extra step for me was appreciated.

I have visited this Carnegie location store Today 12/11/2021 to enquire about wiper blade replacement for my Outback 2020. The staffs are really friendly and professional as they manage to find the exact for blade from near by shop and have it ready by noon. I went their on evening to install and they staff come out to install new one and recycled the old one by asking me though I said I will try do it myself. These small things makes big difference as customers and I strongly recommend this store to any of your auto needs. 5 star for the staffs and service.

Easily my favorite location to shop at. Always am very satisfied In all my dealings with the employees. Particularly with the manager Brandon. Fast, friendly, respectful and most of all knows his stuff.

I called Advance in Carnegie. Knowing very little about what I needed. The person who answered the phone was so helpful. He was patient, took his time to help me. Who I now know him as Alex. Making a call like mine was like "rolling the dice " and THIS time I got a six. THANK YOU ALEX. .

Always good service and very helpful staff although this visit i needed a battery. They do NOT install batteties for Volkswagens. So i needed to go somewhere else.

Don't like the language that the workers was using in the store while I was there . The F word don't get it with me ... It used to be a good store to go to . But since it has changed workers the store has changed and makes me want to go to different parts stores

Went in to look for some parts, and the salesperson Anthony was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable and got everything I needed in a very timely fashion. Excellent service! Definitely deserves a raise ?

Walked in and there were 3 people standing at the desk, all talking to each other. Nobody acknowledged me, that's fine, I can get over that. Aisles were pretty easy to navigate, so I found the fuse I was looking for pretty quickly. Walked up to the counters, and all 3 just continued talking. All 3 were standing at registers, so I had no idea who to walk up to. I walked up to the first guy, and he just walked away from the register. Didn't say "Sorry, this register isn't open" or anything, just walked away and kept talking. As if I was some kind of bug he was trying to move away from at a picnic. Walked up to the second register and the lady said nothing until I said Hello. To which she replied dryly "Hi." The only other thing she said was the price of the fuses. Didn't offer a bag, nothing. (Not that I needed one). Slapped the receipt down on the counter, all the while continuing to look off to the left to talk to her co-worker. This is not the first time I've been completely ignored in this store. Fortunately the one in Oakdale is much closer to home, and the people there are much friendlier and more helpful. I only stop by this location rarely when it's on the way back from Greentree.

If it's close to closing call ahead to make sure the store is still open; I pulled into the lot 30 minutes before closing yesterday to see the exit door being locked. Thankfully I was just looking for a key-fob battery, which I can order on Amazon, and not something more serious.

3 stars for Alex who was working at the counter - pretty sure he's a new employee. He was very helpful & even came out to my car to check if I needed help which I did. The employees always "used" to so this but I haven't experienced it in quite a while. If it weren't for Alex, my review would not be what it is. The particular store I shopped at didn't have the part, but another 1 did. Therefore, I was going to chance driving my car, which I really shouldn't be, Togo get the WRONG part. Thank goodness that didn't happen.

Always has what I need and online orders are ready quick. Staff is usually helpful. They have place for oil drop off if you do your own changes.

This location of Advance Auto Parts is well-run and dependable. Whenever I stop in with an "I know just enough about my cars to be dangerous" question, they always help me out, and they generally solve the issue for me. For instance, I had an intermittent turn signal. When replacing the bulb, which I was able to do myself, didn't fix it, these guys diagnosed a loose wire and helped me repair it in the parking lot. When I was having an issue with my vehicle's oil level, they were nice enough to let me keep my hands clean -- they used their funnel and added the oil to my vehicle for me.

so you and your staff want to be very petty and post garbage reviews on our bar's social media accounts because we won't allow you the 50 cent dine in only special price? terrible un professionalism,

The staff was friendly and helpful, even though they didn't have the part we needed. Then again no car part shops had it. Special order from manufacturer. But the store was clean and it was laid out well.

Staff was great! Brian was able to get my items from the shelf and have them ready for me to pick up during my lunch break and I believe the woman that helped me was Tiffany and she did a diagnostic on my check engine light. I was in and out on my way in record time! Keep up the great work!

I needed a new motorcycle battery, the guy who helped me was very patient as we figured out which battery I needed. I will definitely go here again.
